Located in a Safeway/CVS shopping center. Stopped by after lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking. A few people in line before and after us. It wasn’t busy but there was a steady flow of customers. A-OK with me. Just the right speed. Cute little Shop with a couple of tables inside. Ok, onto the drinks! Okinawa Pearl Standard sweet/regular ice. This one taste better than T4. A really rich tea flavor. This drink is either standard sweet or no sweet. I like my drinks sweet. My parents ordered: Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea 30%sweet/ regular ice. Dad was happy with it. Had some red beans left over at the end. Definitely will be back to try out other drinks. Customer service was friendly. Thank you! Handmade Taro with Fresh Milk Standard Sweet/regular ice. Mom said it was a bit too sweet. It’s either standard sweet or no sugar on this one. An option for somewhere in the middle would be nice.

Came here after my friends hyped it up on Snapchat. I’m a sucker for some earl grey tea, so when I saw that they just introduced a new«Earl grey» series I freaked out a little. I ended up with the earl grey creama. The tea was very strong – definitely more flavorful than T4’s earl grey – and was brewed fresh to order. They give you plenty of tapioca definitely worth the 50 cents. Just be careful with the sweetness. I normally order 80% and this ended up being too sweet for me here, but it didn’t taste artificial and didn’t take away from the flavor. They’re a little short staff since(I believe) they just opened not that long ago; only two girls that I could see working, but they were very polite and apologetic about the wait time. Out of all the new boba places popping up around the East Bay, this one is definitely looking like a top contender. Highly recommend it!

Great service, great drinks — doesn’t matter when I stop in, the quality is consistent!

Review #089 — 2016 Showed up around 6:30PM on a Friday evening to meet up with my younger sister. This location has plenty of parking, but if you drive an SUV like I do, parking can be a pain because the spots right out front are compact size spots. When we showed up, the place was already pretty busy. However, once we got in line, even more people showed up, but the kids here are good at keeping calm and managing the lines. They get your drinks ready pretty quickly as well. The only bad thing is that this location has only 4 tables so it gets pretty crowded when it’s busy. This place is owned by the same owner as the Concord location, I believe. They make the drinks just as tasty as the Concord location does so it’s nice knowing we can meet half way here.

This was my second time here and I’m so impressed. My first time here was late at night a few months ago and they had run out of boba, so I ordered a green tea with 50% sweetness. It wasn’t sweet enough and I missed the boba, so I was underwhelmed, but I acknowledge that this was my fault. This time, I ordered a green milk tea with boba and 80% sweetness. The 80% wasn’t sweet enough for me and I asked if they could make it 100% sweetness instead by stirring in some additional sweetener. I was pleasantly surprised when the employee remade the entire drink for me with NEW pearls! Many other tea places just dump out the tea and reuse the same pearls when remaking a customer’s order. I was so impressed and happy with this excellent customer service. On to the tea: I’ve tried over a dozen milk tea places and Sharetea is up there. I always make sure to try the green milk tea with pearls so that there’s an equal point of comparison. This milk tea is milky and 100% sweetness is just the right amount of sugar for my taste. I like sweetness but not overly sweet(like most places 100% sweetness level is) and most other places fail to hit the exact spot. The boba is also a good consistency, but a bit harder than my ideal boba texture which is softer(which I’ve only found at Dublin Quickly). After examining a cross section of a pearl, the inside is a slightly lighter brown which means the boba will be a tad chewier. Most people will be perfectly happy with Sharetea’s pearls. If I had it my way, I’d have the pearls a bit softer. It’s worth noting that there wasn’t an excessive amount of ice either. I could also tell that a couple of newer employees were being trained but service was still quick and the employees seemed happy working there. When I’m back in San Ramon I’ll be sure to stop by again!

Sharetea is everywhere so this review is more for this specific Sharetea. Workers are friendly and make your drink pretty fast. I like how the sunlight comes in so it feels very welcoming, but there isn’t much seating at all. Some indoor and some outdoor seating. We got a Hokkaido milk tea to share. Same good taste that I like. Boba is a little softer than I’d like but still good. They have a top 20 drinks right on the left side which is pretty useful. Workers ask about sweetness and ice in case you forget which was good because I was still a little dazed from the giant poke bowl I had at Poke Don. Convenient place for some good boba!

I had to come in after Poke Don for a passion mango fruit green tea 50% sweet with less ice to help wash down my meal. I’m a regular at many Sharetea locations and familiar with the menu. I was surprised that they open at 10a.m. because all the others open at 11 or 12. The customer service is nice and fast. The girl working the counter whose name I don’t remember told me that during the weekdays they get really busy when the open from customers from all the businesses around them. This is good info to know so I don’t show up during those times and days for an early fix. I was pleased with the service that I shall return.

Ok remember when I said I would come back with an update? Well here it is friends. Came here after dinner with a friend before closing, staff was still super friendly and sweet which was obviously a plus. But I really can’t say I was anymore impressed than my last visit. They had run out of large boba so we had to order the small boba, which I don’t really mind in general. However this was super sad because all the small boba were sticking together. I was so sad. I had the mango green milk tea this time which was pretty good, tasted like mango pudding cups that I used to eat by the handfuls as a little kid. Wish the boba was right though, that was the downfall of the last time I came here. Probably won’t be coming back.

Never get around to taking pics of my boba drinks, but its your typical sealed cup of boba. I don’t know what the hype is around Sharetea… it’s not bad, but not spectacular either. I mean, I’ve had some really bad boba(that place right next to the 99 Ranch in Concord) in the East bay, so I can definitely appreciate something a step better. I do appreciate that you can really finely tune your boba’s sweetness and that the boba has been perfectly cooked every time we’ve visited, but again, nothing spectacular. I still prefer Kung Fu Tea in the 99 Ranch in Pleasanton. Perhaps some better ones exists elsewhere in the East bay.

Honestly I have no special feelings for franchise boba stores(although I did reveal a little bit love for ShareTea at the San Mateo location), however this location did make my day better! I was here on a Monday afternoon, both my friend and I got Taro Milk Tea with boba and we sat in the stores after getting them. A guy came up to us, he looked like a store manager and asked if our drinks were good since the color looked too light for him. We responded it was great and he said he just wanted to make sure everything was okay. That was definitely a huge plus for us because that means the store manager/staff does care about the consistency of drinks us customers have! I’d love to come back to this location if I am in the neighborhood! 2016019

First time at a Sharetea location and am quite content with their boba creations! Not a ton of people here but the staff was friendly and helpful during our time here. They have a ton of options! The drinks a little pricier but I think the sizes of their drinks are also slightly larger. For example, T4 offers cheaper boba drinks but their cups are on the smaller side. At least compared to the ones at Sharetea. What I like about Sharetea is that they have fresh taro drinks! My brother ordered one when we came here, and the taro tasted extremely fresh. My matcha green tea creama was stellar. I didn’t make any modifications to it, though, and should have toned down the sweetness. It was too sweet as it was.

Been to a few of these but my first time at this location. I went on a Tuesday lunch afternoon and they had two gals working there. The people in front of me had order like 15 drinks. The cashier basically ignored us instead of telling us it would be a while and just looked stressed out. I’m sure it pretty chill most of the time though. The tea itself was decent and tapioca /boba was soft. I like that you can pick how sweet you want it and how much ice. They take Five Star rewards FYI!

I work in the area so boba places are limited. This place is OK. There were a lot of orders and the two girls working there were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It took awhile for us to get our drinks. I like the drink, but the boba was a little on the hard side for me. I’m used to getting my boba from t-pumps and it’s so soft. Next time I would get less boba in it. Also like that the drink is customizable. I got the classic black milk tea. I got the 30% sweet and it was pretty good… I can’t imagine how sweet the 100% is 0.0

Great assortment of flavors and customized drinks. Selected type of iced tea, add choice of black pearls, jellies, and custard, ice cream. They also allow increases or decreases to sweetness as well as the amount of ice. My favorite drink is the black tea with ice cream, which is like a Southern sweet tea with milk.

I was meeting up with a friend in San Ramon and we’ve been wanting to get boba so I suggested a few places. He chose that we try out ShareTea. Sharetea is located in the Safeway plaza on Crow Canyon, but don’t go looking at it in front or directly to the side of Safeway. It’s closer towards the corner of Crow Canyon and San Ramon Valley Blvd. It’s near the Hawaiian place and right next to Subway. There’s plenty of parking(at least when I went which was a weekday afternoon). Unlike the ShareTea in Concord, which is the only other ShareTea I’ve been to, it’s a small spot. There are two tables inside and two tables outside. So hard to hang out there but good for a one on one convo for a short time. The ordering was a breeze and like the Concord location has the FiveStar rewards which now I’m racking up points! The drinks themselves is good and customizable. The staff is quick. I tried the Coffee Blended with 30% sweetness. It was good, but the boba was maybe a tad bit over cooked meaning slightly mushy. But overall not a bad drink. I’m sure over time my perspective of this place will change as I’m sure I’ll definitely frequent it more oft than not. I teeter between a 3 or 4 star but I haven’t tried out Quickly or T4 in the area. So let’s stick to 3 until that time comes!

Very expected of a Sharetea store. I was honestly pretty surpised they opened a store in San Ramon since it isn’t a city/area I would say is boba crazy. It was a bit slower than the other locations but I couldn’t complain about the taste. Exactly the same as drinking a mango green tea from Berkeley or San Diego. For people new to Sharetea, you can customize your drink, so you can make ask for sweetness percentage(50% sweet is what I go with) and ice amount(I go with less ice).

So glad they finally opened one up in the Tri-Valley. No more standing in line at their San Mateo or San Jose locations! Friendly staff, quick service, great drinks, no lines, and tons of parking… My favorites are: okinawa with aloe, black sesame milk tea, and fresh taro hot milk tea. Be careful with the black sesame drinks. The seeds were all over my teeth! Lol. Love the hot taro milk tea especially with the recent cold weather. You don’t actually get to the taro until the last ¼ of the cup. Be sure to sign in with your FiveStars rewards card. I’ve already cashed in 3 free drinks. I probably go there way too much and usually walk out with 4 – 5 drinks. Located next to Men’s Wearhouse and Subway in the Safeway, BevMo shopping plaza at the corner of Crow Canyon Blvd and San Ramon Valley Blvd.

Good boba in SR… finally! I’ve never been to a Sharetea(shame, shame) and am so happy with the crazy # of options, namely getting to select the sugar level of each drink. For first timers(like moi), there’s a huge picture of their top 20 best sellers to get you started. Non-caffeinated choices are important for me(nursing) & my kids so we went with: *mango blended icy with lychee jelly *handmade taro foam milk, 0% sweet, mini pearls *passion fruit with yakult, 50% sweet, reg pearls The winner was the passion fruit with yakult… which was weird because I was sure it’d taste off because of the yakult… but was pleasantly moded. With so many different options and add-ons to customize, it’s kinda daunting for first timers — like Starbucks virgins. It’s prob a good idea to check out their menu online( ) before your first trip so you don’t hold up the line and irritate regulars like I did. You have to go at least a handful of times to narrow down the concoction that’ll bring you happiness. I’ll totally have fun doing this over the next few weeks!

Actually a decent boba place in the San Ramon area? Yes! What a surprise to see one of these pop up next to Subway in the all too familiar strip mall on San Ramon Valley Blvd. Drinks range from $ 3.00 to $ 4.50 — that’s it! Take your pick and you won’t be disappointed. Toppings are $ 0.50 each. They even have hot drinks served here! I like that Sharetea gives you the option as part of every order to choose the amount of ice and the level of sweetness. My go-to is always the green milk tea with grass jelly — less ice, 50% sweet, delish! No seating available inside, so more of a grab & go place vs. the other locations they have. Note: FIVESTARS Rewards card — This store is a different owner than the Sharetea in Berkeley, so the points you earn here start from zero and rack up.

The wait is over! The Sharetea in Diablo Plaza is finally open! I’m glad they accept the Fivestars card, just like Kung Fu Tea inside Pleasanton Ranch 99. Location wise Sharetea is far more convenient for me compared to T4 on Alcosta. This location is pretty small with very limited seating, so its more conducive for take-out. They do have a nice wall-sized poster showing some of their moat popular drinks, so its worth looking first. I got the Honey Aloe for the wife and the Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea for myself — all default ice and sweetness. Both drinks pretty good. I actually like the Hokkaido a bit better — has a smooth, almost caramel-like aftertaste.
