*** OUT OF BUSINESS*** I went to the Cartridge World Danville location at the Rose Center (730 Camino Ramon, Danville, CA 94 526) today 1÷24÷15 and the store has gone out of business. The site is completely empty and there is no sign to indicate that it has relocated anywhere else.

What happened to CW? I used to be very fond of them but my latest experience simply just knocked me off the ground. I bought a laser toner in March 2014. In the past few years, each toner lasted me about a year. However, this toner started making dirt marks on all printouts in 2 – 3 weeks. When I took it back, Jonathan said I emptied the toner. I told him that I only printed about 3 reams of paper when he claimed that there were 1000 pages in each ream so I exhausted the capacity of the toner (2,500 pages) when reality there are only 500 pages each ream. Nevertheless, Nathan agreed that even empty toners should not be making marks on pages so there is something wrong with the toner. But he can’t refund me and he would ask his boss (Jesse) to contact me. 2 weeks later, no call from Jesse. So I called again to get hold of him. Turned out he was not the owner and he needed to consult with the owner. The owner also refused to refund me on the ground that I emptied the toner even though the toner should not be making marks.
Long story short, I am shocked that CW will argue with me for $ 30+ even though it is clear that the toner is defective. So I am not going back anymore. It may cost a little bit more to buy from online stores but it is not worth the trouble. Very sad.

Stay away from this place. Their prices are just slightly lower than the mfg’ers price and their refilled cartridges really didn’t last that long. I’ll never go back.

Yes, i do have to agree. the cartiges are cheaper but they defintley do not last and tend to leak and cause issues with my HP printer. Theier customer service is «meh» they really dont give a shit… just my 2 cents.

The did not fill my laser cartridge all the way up it ran out in a week when they usually last 3 to 4 months. I went back and they just did not care would not fix the problem only offered my $ 5.00 off my next fill up.
I would never use them again.

At first I didn’t know what cartridge world was. I went in and found out that what they do is refill used ink cartridges. The prices vary depending on the cartridge. The people that were working here are friendly and prompt. Each location is independently owned and operated. It is a solution to saving a little on every cartridge and being environmentally conscious.

Wonderful and friendly service. Although the store manager didn’t have the toner I wanted, he offered to refill the toner from my cartridge for me on the spot. It took only a few minutes and I appreciate his efforts to accommodate me.
Getting your toner refilled here is wonderful way to save the environment and save money simultaneously.
I will come back here again and often!
