This subway is one of my favorite so far! The reason I gave this place 5 stars because there customer service was just perfect, neat and clean and there chicken with bacon sandwich was just delicious. The teen who was working there on Monday was so generous and nice to me. He made the sandwich really carefully. Definitely going to this place again!

I try so hard to enjoy subway because the food is not bad, but the service here is completely garbage. I came in with a coupon that said«Free 6 in sub with purchase of 30oz drink» and got one 6in plus one footlong plus a drink. It came out to close to 15 dollars, which is way more than expected, so I asked him what the deal was. The manager said they have to charge for half of the footlong plus the other 6 in sandwich and the drink. I explained over and over that it made no sense and that I should be paying for one sandwich and a drink, but he insisted that the computer would only do it his way. Literally all he had to do was not charge me for the small sandwich. I asked what the point of the coupon was and he said I would be better off not using it. What the? So I paid and left, and he told me to complain to wherever I got the coupon from since he couldn’t do anything about it. I think he was just being dumb and trying to get more money out of me. I will make sure less people come here from now on.

Came in here one morning for a breakfast sandwich. Unfriendly staff who looked like they didn’t wanna be there, ingredients were not fresh and looked like they were small bits of leftovers from the night before. Area was not clean.

I have to preface this review with 2 points before I tear into this experience. 1. my 2 kids and I have been frequenting the Subway chain from Hawaii to here for the past 5 years pretty regularly(once or twice a month, every month). We KNOW Subway 2. Im sorry to have to leave such a negative review but when you experience what we did, it really makes you realize that businesses have GOT to pay attention when their operations start going downhill. especially when it is in their control. I’m hoping this location’s owner takes all of these reviews to heart and tries to turn it around. well we went in for lunch(yes, we had one of those promotional Buy one Get one sub free coupons) and the first thing I asked was if they honored them at this location. they said they did. ok, great. I begin to order and the gal behind the sandwich bar seemed really out of it but in a «I know what I’m doing» kind of way which made it very odd. she made the sandwiches in a completely different way in terms of order. there was no order. we were jumping around from sandwich to sandwich vs. completing one and finishing the next. she was not organized and the sandwich table in general was a mess. I had ordered a regular sub with chips and a drink and then one to fulfill the freebie. then I ordered a kids size meal as well. note: during all of this there was no presence of personality on her part ATALL. In fact, she had a sort of SCOWL going on. Awesome. Take my money and let me get out of your way cuz I know my business must be upsetting you. We sit down to eat and the first thing my kids say is that something’s weird about the sub. I take a bite of one of theirs and I notice the bread is off. I want to say that it was Stale. Or had been frozen, defrosted and then held in that warmer oven. My sandwich was also like that. I could have taken them back at that point and asked her to remake them but honestly, I wasn’t particularly keen on having HER remake ANYTHING for my kids. I asked my kids to finish(they pushed the sandwiches aside… THEFIRSTTIMEEVERFOR A SUBWAYSUB) but they said they couldn’t eat another bite of it. I didn’t force it because the bread really did ruin the sandwich. We leave and head to Chipotle. No stale bread or Scowls there. Needless to say, we will not be back to this location.

Subway obviously doesn’t serve gourmet sandwiches but this location is worse than most locations I’ve been to. The employees aren’t very friendly and they don’t add much meat. I always feel like they are rushing me also. I have only been here twice and I won’t be back because of these reasons.

This place is pathetic. Never said«Hi» or anything. I had to repeat myself probably 3 – 4 times on what bread I wanted. Then the guy could still never understand me. I asked for mayo and he put a tiny line of mayo at first. Then I kept saying I wanted more. I had to say I wanted more like 3 times before I finally got the amount I wanted. The sandwich was good, but the bread was practically falling apart while I was eating it. It was cooked too much and the bread was very hard and crunchy which I don’t like. I never noticed if the place was dirty because I just wanted my sandwich and left. The lady there isn’t very friendly either and just takes your money and walks away. Not as bad as one Subway in Antioch though where they didn’t give me my change…

This particular Subway doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I regret giving them repeated business for years because of convenience purposes, I live down the street. But today was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. When I pay for a foot long sandwich, I expect them to put in the required portions of meat… nothing more, nothing less. However, they will short you on the meat portions by spreading out a 6″ portion of meat onto a foot long sub and put an overwhelming amount of lettuce to make the sandwich look plentiful. Once, they sliced a chicken breast in half to get two portions on my foot long… nasty business. However, I got tired of having sandwiches that taste like a veggie. Their was not one bite/taste of meat. And to top it off I had to deal with an Indian lady dishing out rude /attitude behavior. Unfortunately, my husband and I will never go back to Subway at any location because I believe the company tells employees to cut back on the meat portion. If you think about it, why would the employees cut back on. Meat portions, they aren’t profiting. Not to mention, when we walked in no one was there and they fountain drink area was out of everything, everything! Literally everything. Terrible business, I can’t believe they are still in business… guaranteed it will shut down soon. You can not run a business using unethical tactics. And this is coming from someone who is a happy go lucky person who never complains. I felt it was necessary to warn potential customers what’s up because I don’t feel bad if this chain doesn’t survive because they are crooks robbing their clientele. Unethical.

I’d give zero stars but there isn’t that option. All I wanted for lunch was their broccoli soup and when we requested it they got the two bowls we requested. When I opened it however it was chicken noodle even though they had advertised broccoli. I’m a vegetarian and that doesn’t fly. When we asked for a refund for the soup and tried to return it they would not accept it. This place had poor customer service and refused to offer a refund when the soup never left the container, store, and was never touched by me. Awful.

I come here frequently for lunch. It’s what you expect from a subway. The good is the location. It’s in the middle of a strip mall on Crow Canyon Rd. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The bad? That’s why I gave it two stars. The quality is inconsistent. I guess they started to use family members as staff which can be a two edged sword. I have had sandwiches made just right. Right proportion of meat versus vegetable. I have also had too many sandwiches where the«sandwich artist» just piles the ingredients on the bread like how they slip mash potatoes on your tray at a soup kitchen. You get mouthful of pickles followed by a shot of mustard.

I agree with many of the other negative one star reviews on here. The lady that made my sandwich had a really bad attitude and was very cheap and didn’t put barely anything on my sandwich. I know I shouldn’t expect a whole lot from a full meal that is $ 6.50, but I have had much better at the Subways in the area. I told her to give me all veggies, and I literally had one or two of them on my sandwich. It was like an inch thick total. I would rather drive to another Subway, even if this one is closer or on my route.

This subway is by far the worst subway I have ever been to. I usually don’t complain about Subways since I know it’s a fast food store but this place is disgusting and the rudest people work there. They are not friendly one bit. Not even a hello, just a lousy what do you want? My main complaint and why they should close down is that they sweep the ovens with the same broom that they sweep the floors with. DISGUSTING! I saw this as I was ordering food from there. Never again!

Subway is subway. You are not there to dine, you are there for connivence and price. When I eat there, I get egg white with spinach, steak and cheese on flatbread. It’s serves the greater need {of hunger} and is fine. :-)

If I could give ZERO stars I would of… This place is the worst Subway ever, I do not look for much out of a subway, it is Fast food but the customer service is horrible. The sandwich as but together sloppy as F*** and the quality of product is sub-par. I will never be going back to this location ever again, I think it is independently owned which is why the do not care for customer service. If you ask for any extra anything the tell you it will be an extra charge when veggies should be free right? I think some of the other reviews for local subways in San Ramon are meant for this location. This is the Subway next to Safeway behind McDonalds

The older gentlemen(think he is the owner) is cheaper than cheap. He gives you the smallest amount of anything you want on your sandwich. I ask for extra, get a dirty look, and they put almost nothing more on it. This has happened 5 or more times. If i did not live less than a mile from here I would go elsewhere. It seems I am not the only one who feels this way, I would read your reviews and stop being so cheap. Its obvious im not the only one feeling this way, and my guess is only 1% of your angry customers have hit Unilocal to express their feelings. Learn how to keep customers! Don’t be so cheap!
