Hostess was demanding of respect, loved her. The brisket was smokey and tender. The service amazing even though she was in training. Nice seating on the river. A bit pricey for the meal but I wouldn’t shy away from it.

The food was fabulous. The beef ribs were huge. Like they say everything is bigger in Texas and this proves it. There were the best I ever had. No one at my table had one bad thing I know because we all shared. Try it you will love it!

Five of us from arrived without reservations and were seated immediately. We decided to buy family style, ordering plates of beef ribs, pork ribs and smoked sausages. The ribs and sausage were great and the cost was wonderful.

Came tonight because we had some family in from out of town and this is where they wanted to go. We were told there was 6 groups ahead of us so I was expecting to wait quite a while but was pleasantly surprised when we got sat after only 10. min. Everything we had in the group was very good, the hot homemade bread we ordered was outstanding. The service was excellent, I could tell she was busy but we never felt neglected. She made sure we always had refills, appetizer plates, and even took a pic for our group! Also, don’t miss the check in opportunity as you get a free sausage appetizer that is delicious. Overall, wasn’t expecting much but we had a nice night here on the river walk.

The meal was delicious and huge portions. The only problem was that my brisket had a slight gassy taste. Great value.

The meal began with a delicious dark bread. It was very soft, fresh and came with a sweet honey butter. I checked in and got a free appetizer which was about half a pound of smoked sausage. It was very good but came at the same time as my meal which was a little annoying. For an entrée I got the three ribs with beans and mashed potatoes. The ribs were huge! The sauce was very nice, slightly sweet and spicy. I was a little disappointed with meat though. It wasn’t that fall off the bone bbq that I was looking for. At times the meat was actually pretty tough. The mashed potatoes and beans were kind of flavorless so I didn’t each much, besides I was concentrating on the ribs anyway. I couldn’t finish them though. Overall it was a good meal and I sat at a nice table outside. If you want a lot of food this is the place. I’m sure there are better bbq places in San Antonio but this one was pretty good.

I’ve had better BBQ, but the whole experience, including sitting along the Riverwalk and the server was worthwhile.

When in Texas, do as the Texans do! That’s the phrase, right? So walking along the San Antonio river walk we chose this barbecue place for our lunch yesterday. Drink: Texas sipper, with grapefruit juice and titos vodka. You can’t go wrong with that! Food: checking in on Unilocal, you get a free«chefs choice» of appetizer. Our server, Cliff, brought us a sausage plate. I got the lunch size two meat combo(salad, fries, brisket, and chicken). This was so much food and I can’t imagine how big the dinner portion is. Easily enough to split with someone else! My favorite protein was the chicken. Is that normal for when you are at a bbq joint? Shouldn’t the brisket, etc., be the standout? I mean, it wasn’t bad, but I probably just expected better. I probably would not come back next time I’m in the area, but that might be because I have never loved bbq. I am happy we gave it a shot, though. The view of the river was gorgeous and our waiter was really great! Texas YALL

Last day in San Antonio and had to try the BBQ at County Line. We were quickly seated and introduced to our server«EDWARD» who was a very good server and made sure our every need was taken care of. He was spot on with his suggestions and ensured we were having a good time without being a bother. The BBQ baby back ribs were excellent and tender, the slaw perfect and we dined on the river… Here is a place that understands their products and customers. People go to a BBQ place to eat BBQ. This means you need to provide a great product and a good price, they accomplished both. DON’T FORGETTHISONE!

Nope. Just nope. Average tasting BBQ at best and overpriced due to location. I have the brisket«platter». Cost over $ 20 and the portion size was small for the price. Meat had too many fatty parts. The BBQ sauce was terrible, a little sour tasting.

Food is amazing. However, it took our group 50 minutes to get a table. Then, 10 minutes to see a waiter. Then, 16 minutes to get appetizers, and another 14 minutes for the meals. When we asked for our checks, it took 15 minutes to get incorrect bills, which we fixed amongst ourselves in order to speed up leaving. Food is really good, but the wait time is crazy long. Be prepared for an all night affair.

Checked in and revived a free appetizer of sausage. To my surprise it was very good. The free bread was served very hot and was amazing! I ordered the two meat plate with more sausage and lean brisket. I will say it was average at best!

CHECKINWITH Unilocal — Get free appetizer!!! Was in town for a conference and looking for something along the Riverwalk since that was close. Checked in with Unilocal and got my appetizer(s) — bread and sausage links. Bread was fresh and warm and sausage was pretty decent. The BBQ sauce was unique — tangy but not too sweet. Tasted like BBQ sauce is supposed to taste. I realize this is subjective as there are many preferences with sauces. You may or may not like County Lines — I Really enjoyed it. I was looking for something a little lighter as I had been eating way too much this trip so I got the caesar salad with grilled chicken. Plenty big — didn’t eat it all. Chicken was decent — could have had a little more flavor. Service was excellent — we were a little early — 5:15ish and things were a bit slow but our waiter was very attentive.

I must say I was very happily surprised with this BBQ joint. The sausage appetizer I got free though Unilocal was very good as was the BBQ sauce. I had the Tuesday lunch special Chopped Pork Sandwich w/fries and bean, and was so good and well worth $ 10.99. My wife had the beef ribs, very large, and very good. Our friend had the baby back ribs and they were just as good. I wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone to try this place out. I don’t thing you will be disappointed.

Pork ribs and their top shelf margaritas were the best!!! Beef ribs was a bit tough. We sat outside and the atmosphere was wonderful. Price was reasonable. Waiters were nice.

San Antonio(River Walk), TX: Great sausage Our last night in Texas. Didn’t want to move vehicle from hotel parking lot. Wanted to have a taste of Texas and this was near. We were already at Riverwalk. FOOD *Lean Cut Beef Brisket Platter, with fries and baked beans sides *Half Rack Baby Back Ribs Platter, small salad and blackeyed peas for sides Busy night Slow but friendly service Average tasting, ok portions of main courses Generous amount of both indoor and outdoor seating, right along the river. Both the ribs and brisket were not melt in the mouth tender but at least was gluten free, a plus for our chosen dietary mode. The sides were small. Unilocal check in surprise appetizer of sausage slices didn’t arrive until our food was served and that was only after we reminded our waiter of it. They turned out to be the best tasting part of the entire meal. The wild west setting was fun and their location on the river were pluses. This is one of a chain comprised of six total restaurants.

Not the greatest barbecue but it’s a great location with a fun atmosphere. Husband and I had the 5-piece combo & shared it came with ribs, pork ribs, 1– sausage, 1– small slices portion of turkey and brisket. The brisket was dry no real flavor. Cole slaw was good but very small portion. The sausage was great. The ribs were okay but very fatty. We have been here twice, first time was a little better. Service is good, very friendly staff.

For Texas BBQ, this place serves great variety of food. However, I was not fully surprised with the taste and the whole experience. It’s great to try the BBQ, but I just don’t think my taste buds are satisfied. I will continue to dig in other BBQ place until the best one is here! Bye for now!

Oh man… I’m from CA, I stayed at the Westin which is literally 2 blocks away. Earlier today I asked hotel staff for a suggestion on bbq(walking distance), my options, this joint or bill something, see, I dont even remember the full name of the other joint. Both are chain restaurants but I like this spot better. You get more food, bigger portions, more flavor and you get better service. Now that I’m thinking about it and comparing the two places, the county line is a restaurant and the bill what ever place is a fast food joint. I enjoyed this place and would def recommend it. Kept it short, just go, you’ll like it. Cheers!

Ich nahm Variante a. Ergebnis: Location nett, Essen geht so.
