Wonderful place. Very fast service and friendly staff. I had the fried chicken just the way I like it moist tender very crispy on the outside

A great place for a fast, affordable and filling lunch. They have a lunch special that consists of 3 pieces of fried chicken, fries, bread and tea for $ 5.80. A good deal. I go there and get my lunch to go. The service at the to go counter is always fast and friendly. This gives me more time to sit by the river and recharge. I like the Ham Poor Boy as a lunch option too. A warning: be sure and ask for extra napkins. Otherwise they will give you just 1 and one napkin does not cut it with fried chicken. This location has a drive thru option too.

Convenient and filling, Miller’s bbq is good. I am not a fan of the sauce. The chain’s prolific distribution in south Texas is a nice convenience.

When i stop by after 5:30 pm, Cindy and Carina always give a big smile while serving. The brisket and turkey are moist and tasty. Also, i always get the potato salad and Cole slaw when i eat here because the taste is excellent.

I feel sorry for the people of San Antonio if this is the best they have to offer. The service was good, they cranked out a place of «BBQ» with lightning speed. However, the brisket was sliced with a Arby like meat slicer and it had no flavor. The turkey, was the same way no flavor. The sauce was watered down and left me with a puddle of water at the bottom of my plate. The ribs had the membrane left on them and that is a no no, that is BBQ101. They were also bland and over cooked. I hate to say it but the best part of the meal was the hash browns.

Of all the Bill Miller’s BBQ establishments, this is by far the worst. And its unfortunate because they have an excellent location downtown and can be flooded with people from all the neighboring office buildings. I understand that I cannot hold Bill Miller’s to the same standard as a non-fast food establishment; but I think it is worth mentioning when simple fast foods like fried chicken are completely missing the mark. I am talking the most bland, tasteless and non-crispy(almost soggy) fried chicken I have ever eaten. Its one of those moments where you realize even before taking a full bite, that this was a bad decision. I have other co-workers who have become physically ill after eating at this location. Again, this Bill Millers has a lot of potential if they can get their act together! They will always have business with their location, but the people deserve better fast food! At least make it taste like its worth all the calories!

This Bill Millers is across from my work. Literally it is like a two minute walk. It really convenient and I enjoy breakfast most of all. The tacos are always fresh and they are made to order. The tortillas are not from a bag they are handmade and really delicious! The staff is always friendly and usually the first thing you hear when you walk in is «Good Morning». Usually there isn’t a wait unless you come during the lunch time rush. 11:30 — 12:30ish. I always see them cleaning the store while I’m there which makes me feel better and reassures me that they take good care of it. It has really cute interior a horse stable theme. I really enjoy this location and will continue to frequent it often!

Don’t order #7, it was terrible. I thought it would be shredded beef, but rather it was tasteless sloppy Joe. Makes me reconsider spending my hard buffalo nickle here. You goitta be kidding…

I’m not a big fan of chains, but when I need a Turkey Po’Boy or chicken tenders with gravy and spicy green beans, Bill Miller’s is the place I go. Best chicken tenders in San Antonio. This is a convenient locatin to office staff that work in the northern part of downtown, within a few blocks of some major office buildings and not crushed by the Riverwalk crowds. Service is always fast and friendly and they do a huge lunch rush.
