First time here today and I liked it. This place had fast, friendly service. The food was great and the price was fair. Definitely worth a go if you’re on the fence about going here.

Come get some tacos but ask them with corn tortillas myabe it’s San Antonio thing with the flour tortillas. Chicharon and asada are legit

My family and I have been coming here for years. Great service, good food and affordable prices. Some of our favorites include Enchiladas Verdes, Asada, and the Pozole on weekends. If you’re in the potranco area you need to try this place and support local small business.

The chips and salsa are awesome, single tacos are great carne guisada had good flavor would definitely come back :)

This place has the best al pastor tacos! So good. My husband and I (and 3 kiddos) love the breakfast tacos as well. We have dined in on multiple occasions and also went through the drive thru. The waitstaff is also super polite and attentive. You will wait in the drive through but I chalk that up to fresh prepared food and it is always worth the wait!

We were looking for some delicious Mexican food and this was the place! Tucked into a shopping center, we were surprised at how quick the service was and the food was awesome. Excellent chips and tacos — we got barbacoa and al pastor. Plan to eat there again

I am loyal… I have been coming here for years and there food had always been consistently good, hot, delicious, and loads of it…
This place isn’t pretentious…
This is a mom and pop shop.
They have the tv on the counter.
The conjunto music on the speakers.
The sweet breads in the box next to the register to purchase when you are paying your check…
It’s a simple place for a simple time…

Is… It does what it does PERFECTLY and that’s what I absolutely LOVE ABOUT IT.
I’m not Hispanic but I’m completely comfortable sitting here by myself enjoying my meal watching the world go by…
I am never disappointed and never go home empty handed because there is so much of it.
This is a neighborhood Jalisco that never disappoints, that always delivers good food, lots of it, great, quick service, and is even consistent with to go orders. In the 8+ years I have been a customer, they have NEVER DISAPPOINTED.

Horrible service, rude waitresses, and loss of customers. We were told that there were no more chips ready, but were surprised to see a customer who had come in after us get his right away. When we asked the waitress about the situation she had said that «they were remains» and had us questioning why we hadn’t gotten those first. The waitresses had given us attitude when we had asked them about it and we didn’t get the chips and salsa until after our main dish was already paid for. More bitter attitude from our waitresses continued after we ended up not eating the chips because after all, the chips were supposed to be an appetizer, not a dessert and even then, what’s the point of chips if we’re already heading out the door? The food was good, but I lost my interest in that place after that horrible service. Won’t be coming back.

Good food, cheap as hell, less than a mile from my place. This place has everything I look for in a neighborhood taco place which is why I give them my business once a week.

The staff was very friendly! Our food came out very fast and it was delicious! It’s casual and kid friendly. I would recommend this to anybody!

Disappointed. Saw the reviews & thought I finally found a great Mexican restraunt. The waitress was great but that was about it. Food was cold. Tortillas were hard. Beans were watery & flavorless. Never will return. I have better things to spend my $ on.

Cute lil place hidden away with good service & great food. The portions are larger than most and cheaper than I’ve seen. Staff was friendly and took extra time with our lil Dragon to make sure he was satisfied.

The wait staff is very attentive
The orders come out pretty fast, but there seems to be something missing still cant figure it out.
Maybe with a couple of tries here, I’ll figure it out.

I absolutely love their CHICKEN FAJITA TACOS. Anytime, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Always served hot and quick.

Had a craving for carne asada and this place certainly filled that craving. Juicy moist full of flavor without all the extra fat. Must go here for lunch or linner.
Gets packed for lunch and quiet near 5−6pm. Hasn’t disappointed in the Caliente sauce dept.
Enough of the tex-​mex shinanigans !

The food was ok. Nothing that would wow you. The notice the disorganization was just annoying. Would I return? Prob not. There are so many other mexican restaurants in San Antonio. Does anyone speak English in this place? Oh well. Adiós rodeo de Jalisco

We left seaworld and decided we wanted Mexican food, so I searched for nearby restaurants and decided to try this one. Overall we had excellant and attentive service, The fajitas we seasoned well, came with a chili rellano on top, and was a healthy portion. The various items the kids had pleased them as well. We will most definitely return!

Pro: food is really cheap, service was pretty good, food was not bad.
Con: the food is really run of the mill Mexican that you can get just about anywhere.
Overall the food was satisfactory and the service was pretty good. Nothing special about this place though. If you live in the area, it’s worth stopping but I wouldn’t make a drive for it.

I read all the negative reviews and I don’t see how they could even be possible. I go to this restaurant on a weekly basis and the wait staff and management are great. The food is great, well cooked, presentation is superb and the food is fresh. The barbacoa on the weekend is fantastic and worth the trip for sure. I would strongly recommend this place for good Mexican food.
