Massage Heights Bandera

Word of advice when buying a gift card for a loved one here. Ask said loved one if they have ever been to Massage Heights before.
The staff here will «allow» you to buy a discounted gift card for a loved one for a massage. However if said loved one has been to Massage Heights before when they go to redeem their massage they will be asked to pay full price for the massage or buy a membership.
Why would I buy my loved one 50% of a massage. That is rude. If they would have told me at this location that the massage cost $ 90 or whatever it costs I would have bought the gift card for that much– full price. Instead my loved one went for a massage and got billed for $ 40 extra dollars.
Big mistake on your part Massage Heights. I would have kept buying gift cards and going to your place of business but your way of doing business is a turn off. Be honest and transparent to everyone. You will get more business that way. You lost mine and my family won’t be going back either.

I’ve been attending this location for over a yr have gone to a couple other locations because of last minute scheduling issues on my part. But I always go back to this location staff is so personable. Like other reviews it’s difficult to recommend a therapist due to individual needs and preference. Still that being said I think Ms Toni is wonderful listens to needs and is extremely knowledgable. I’ve have good encounters with other therapist as well though. Scheduled a session with Toni for my partner who had a back spasm. She was quite skeptical, walked out of there pain was gone and she signed up for the promotion they were offering!

I was excited to check out the new location so much so I even booked an appointment for my boyfriend, who I had raved about this place to. Let’s just say from the first few minutes we were in there we were not impressed.
First, the 3 ladies at the front desk were nice and knowledgeable however, they seemed to be talking over one another which made for a very loud reception area. I have never experienced such loud talking prior to getting a massage. My boyfriend is into yoga and was especially annoyed by the volume in the reception area not only by the employees but also other patrons, the reception area should set the tone for our experience which I paid good money for. Not to mention, I bought a 3 month membership which I was instantly regretting.
Second, when we were escorted to the back I couldn’t help but notice 3 – 4 therapist gathered in a corner talking at normal voice levels, they of all people should know that they need to lead by example as far as volume. Once I was in my room and ready for my massage I could periodically hear people talking in the halls at a normal volume which is not typical spa etiquette.
Lastly, with my Heightened package I am supposed to get an elevation with my treatments however the girl did not use hot stones during treatment like I had selected with the front desk girl. A little disappointed.
I realize in a new location there is a period of newness that goes on and everyone is excited about the new place however, transition should be seamless to the client and I personally was very unimpressed with the new location. The old location seemed to have a much quieter and spa-​like feel than the new one. I’ll be returning but only because I bought a 3 month membership :(

My husband and I started going to Massage Heights when our other therapist chain declined in service and cancelled out our appointments on two occasions without notice. We have been happy with the Bandera location of Massage Heights since the first day we walked in about 4 months ago. Staff is friendly. The know their job and do it well. I will not name anyone in particular as I have seen different folks depending on my need. All have been great. We never miss this visit we have set for every other week and it is the best money we spend on us. I have personally recommended many and will continue to do so.

I have been a member for quite sometime. Good price for good massage. I say good because not all fit my style and I have had bad and great… Overall good! Now I cannot tell you whom I think is good because then you would take up the schedule… lol…jk…because your style may be different than mine and what is great for me may not be for you, and that is the beauty of this place, it can fit all styles… try it out with their initial no obligation massage. It will be worth an hour of your time… relaxing… below I show by appointments only, but if they have someone between sessions they will be glad to fill you in!
