IHOP

They are so bad the server was so bad and the manger she is so rude I hate this place because of the manger and the server I told them where is my food it took too long they said ooh we have only one person in the kitchen I said well that’s not my problem and they manger came and she said you don’t have to be rude with my server and you know what just leave I’m was like really so they are so bad I wanna tell the people don’t go to them because they so rude

I have been to several different IHOPS before and this one was hands down the best one I’ve been to! The food was hot and fresh and I finally found a cook to make my eggs scrambled perfectly! I ordered the pumpkin pancakes too which are my fall time favorites! If you want good service and fresh food try this IHOP! Oh and it was very clean which is a bonus in my book!!!

Been a while since I’ve been to this location. It might be my last. Service was horrible. Had to ask for everything. Never got straws. Little things like that throughout our meal time. Even common sense items: bring dry toast? Then server brings melted butter for my toast. Wow.
Had to ask for refills many times. Server (Terrence) was nice, but clueless. He only had two tables to take care of.
Asked for a manager. Again, clueless. Been here only a week. Had to ask for his manager. Then finally, we got some service. Shouldn’t be this way. The upper manager even said some things were unacceptable. She helped rectify things.

We came here to eat about a month ago and it was OK… I think our waiter had a lot of tables so that kept him from checking on us as much as he should have. We also asked for sweet teas to go and he brought us back unsweet. Good thing we checked them before we left but we couldn’t find him to ask for the right tea before we left so we just left the cups on the table. The food was not hot but warm. We’ll see how this visit goes…

The last two times I have been to this IHOP location, the service has been absolutely horrible. The last time, the waitress didn’t write down our order and came back 15 minutes later asking for it again. After waiting another 10, my daughter got her food and I was still waiting. When my food came out the order was wrong. I had to wait another 10 minutes for the crepes that went with my plate and this was after they assured me that they were already being made. Crepes only take 2 minutes to cook, I know because I make them at home. I will never be back to this location. MANAGEMENT, you need to hire seasoned wait staff that writes down orders and handles their customers with respect. Stop hiring first time wait staff. I use to be a waitress and when your waitresses cannot multi-​task, they should be let go. NEVER AGAIN!

The menus were stuck together and smelled horrible when opened, the whole restaurant smelled sour like something had been spilled and left to rot, so much that we left before we ordered. Other times we had been there we had waited a ridiculous amount of time for our food, had servers that obviously didn’t want to be there and food that was truthfully nasty. One of the worst IHOPs I’ve been to. Well just go to Jim’s from now on.

We had dinner here tonight and there were no customers in the restaurant. I went online to check the reviews and now I see why. But luckily I had a good experience here today. My kids ordered the pancakes and they were delicious I had the club sandwich and onion rings and they were also very good. The server was very bob and the food didn’t take long at all. We’ll be back to this conveniently located ihop!

I honestly don’t want to even give 1 star… I went with a total party of 4… And my food was horrible… I ordered a ham/​cheese omelette and French toast… The omelette had been sitting for awhile prior to them bringing it to me so it was very cold, the cheese was so cold it was a hard clump in the middle… The French toast was completely burned on one side (of course the side that was facing the plate that I couldn’t see until i tasted it and flipped the toast over). The steak my friend ordered was not medium as he requested but VERY well done… I sent my food back and the sever brought my bill still Including my plate on it (which I did not eat) … I then asked to speak with the manager and I was explaining to her the situation and she totally gave me attitude saying that it wasn’t corrected on the check because only she had authority to do that, but that she was well aware of the situation… Ummm ok… So why didn’t she fix the bill before she brought it to the table, or why didn’t the server tell me i wouldn’t be charged for the horrible food… I also told her about the steak and she didn’t make any apologies other then she felt the steak was fine…
She then rolled her eyes and huffed/​puffed and went to the register to give me a corrected check… I explained this was my first time and last time at this location and she didn’t say a word… So I politely told her that she was a wonderful manager and I thanked her for the wonderful attitude and apologies she didn’t give for the horrible food… NEVER AGAIN will I come here… There are way to many options out there to go to and spend my money then to be at a place that serves burnt/​cold food and doesn’t even apologize for it. And then gives you attitude…
Ummm I’m sorry NO THANK YOU…
Totally disappointed with this location…

Co workers and I placed an order over the phone and I went to pick it up. Picked up, brought back to work, and cut into my stuffed french toast and right away noticed a long hair inside it. Packed it up, took it back, and the manager could care less about it. Her only reply was «The stuff french toast comes prepackaged from the main office and we just reheat it. We have no control over it and all I can do is give you back your money or remake the order» Completely useless and just a waste of a restaurant. Avoid this place.

Food takes forever, comes out looking like it’s been sitting for an hour. Waitresses are sometimes nice and other times they seem annoyed your even there. Never coming back, even with a groupon.

Food was great and service was good. Would definitely recommend eating here. My daughter ordered the raspberry crepes filled with cream cheese. Got a little taste of them and they were soo good!

So after about 8 months we decided to give this place another try. BIG MISTAKE. The hostess said it’ll be 15mins to be seated… after waiting 15mins, he said it’ll be another 15 to 20! Wtf! Hostess said they were so far behind in the kitchen they were not sitting customers. So continuing to wait then they come out and state they are out of pancakes. Your INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PANCAKES!!! Bye Felicia

I love their menu and the pancakes of course! Everytime i go here, i will look at the menu for a good amount of time… but i will always order the big steak omellete!

There lucky they even get one star. My husband and I walked in at 3pm on a sat. They were not busy at all. We stood at the podium to be seated, while a group of waiters, and waitresses were chatting away laughing. I had to stare at the girl to make sure she got the hint I want to sit down. Then the hostess didn’t know which area she was supposed to seat us in. Once we had gotten a booth. We waited about 5 mins, my husband flagged down a waitress, she explained that we were her table, but she will take care of us. Which was find with me. We ordered our drinks– two waters and two hot chocolates. And our meals. We got our hot chocolates about 5 mins later, it was COLD! My husband suggest we leave and talk to the manager, so we went up front. Told the manager everything. And he said nothing! He just started at us like he has never heard a complaint from his customers about his crappy staff! Then a waitress had the audacity to try and make excuses for the waitress and the manager. I’m not pleased with the way we were treated there and we’re never going back!!! Corporate if your reading this, fire everyone and start over at this location.

Worst experience I have ever had at an IHOP in my life. My wife and I stopped in at this location where we waited over 5 minutes without even being greeted while we waited at the hostess stand. As we were awaiting to be greeted we noticed not a single table in the restaurant (about 8 tables) no one was actually eating food or was being waited on. We left and will never return. Avoid at all costs.

Good IHOP food, IHOP being one of my favorite places. Whenever my friends and I go to eat there, they all typically have a great sense of humor and take care of our needs. There is a wait on the bill. Overall cool place. I prefer this IHOP over the other locations.

So surprising enough– we came in on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t all that busy. We were seated right away… but then it was probably another 10 minutes before we were even approached, let alone had our drink order taken. Our server was very nice, but half of our food came back out cold– which I didn’t expect since we could see our server standing around. Not chatting mind you, but looking like she was waiting for what we assumed was our food. Besides it being cold, the food was decent enough (wasn’t expecting too much from this chain) and the dining areas were clean as well. However I definitely wouldn’t recommend going into the bathroom. The same cannot be said for the women’s bathroom. But as I said… it’s Ihop, not sure what I expected. At least it was cheap!

I go here all the time and the staff and food are very good! During breakfast the place Is generally packed with customers. No one is perfect and mistakes can happen.
I love the staff and the older lady that’s the morning manager. She’s such a sweetheart!
This is the best IHOP I think in San Antonio.

This IHOP seems better ran than the only other one I have been to, which was at 151 and 410. We have always gotten our food fairly quick here, and have never had one of the «inedible» moments experienced below. The wait can be long at busy times, but I guess that is par for the course. I got a colorado omelette today, and it was just what to expect from IHOP. It was cooked correctly, and had plenty of stuffing. You feel like a fat kid when you are done eating it, and it fills you up.

Standard breakfast food. Decent service. Food is pretty tasty. I usually only go here when there is some kind of special happening like $ 4.99 all u can eat pancakes.
