If you want to go somewhere with excellent customer service this is definitely not the place to go. The ladies working here are by far the rudest women I’ve had to deal with. Then comes in the owners«son» so the lady says. He actually turned down our business saying they can not and will not accommodate our needs because there is not enough help!!! NOTENOUGHHELP! Can a small business really afford to say that? As a small business owner myself I would never imagine turning a customer down. But that wasn’t enough… after not even trying to come up with a solution he wouldn’t even show his face. He had the so called manager go back and forth like a messenger. Mind you this is a very tiny and not the cleanest building. So my father in law left the building once an extremely loyal customer to an irate ex customer. He then went to the Garza’s other location on commerce where he was told that the son called that location and told them not to take the business as well. So we have found a new bakery where the product is just as good and half… Yes I said half the price. You’d better believe that everyone we know and all of our customers asking for recommendations will be told to never go to this bakery ever again. Which by the way have horrible tortillas. They’re better at Alamo Molina and the best at M&I.

I love this bakery! I am always happy with their pan dulce. They carry glazed donuts, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, coconut macaroons, cupcakes, as well as the traditional pan de huevos, hojarascas, marranitos, piedras, cuernos, etc. Service is usually quick, but Sundays can be quite busy. They don’t accept credit cards, but Lone Star cards are fine.

Being my neighborhood bakery and all, I adore this place. Mostly, because they sell a dozen fresh handmade tortillas for about 2 dollars. These are delicious and addicting. Best part I don’t have to make them! Aside from that it’s a general Mexican bakery. Pan de huevos, empanadas, and marranitos galore. Everything is baked daily and is delightful. Like most Fiesta bakery’s this place is cash only. I usually do quite well with the extra change my drink holder in the car occupies.
