Now the name ha changed and it’s called Mr. Taco nowadays. Anyway, the food we got was great. The meat was lean and in perfect condition. The rest was great as well, I can’t see any of the problems other people described. The food was great and the price was great as well. You really need to check it out again as I loved it and the other people in my group loved it as well.

It pains me to do this to Lisa’s Tacos but it’s not the same place that I raved about at the beginning of the year. The delicious tacos I grew up with have been replaced with the crappiest tacos I’ve ever had. The tortillas are thin and rubbery, my favorite chorizo and potato taco is now drenched in grease and their menudo is scary just to look at. The owner bros who knew their regulars and treated them like family have sold the place to less caring and consistent individuals and now my favorite taco place for the past 10 years is gone. Can you tell I’m in mourning.

Thank you Ash M.!! If not for your review of Lisa’s Tacos I would of never tried this hidden gem. To your wisdom I bow. I was looking for someplace different to try for lunch so i did what any true Unilocaler would do and consulted Unilocal.Though there is only one review and that review was focused on the breakfast items the review spoke very highly of this establishment and came from a trusted source. Every day for lunch there are $ 5.99 lunch specials. This includes ice tea. The first day I had the chili relleno. This was absolutely fantastic. Both the flour and corn tortillas hare made freshly in house. A big plus. I liked the so much that I went back the next day and had the Mexican plate. This plate consists if two cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco and chalupa. With Beans and rice. Every thing was wonderful. If you want good food at a very fair price this is a great option. Not only is the food great but so is the service!
