I have been going here and the raspa stand on Roosevelt for years! I like to bring all my out of town friends here. There is something here for everyone. My personal fav. Is the strawberry flavor raspa with the diced pickles and chili powder!

I’m visiting one of my friends in San Antonio and this is the place that’s a must-stop for any of her guests. And now I know why! Delicious, fresh options as well as some authentic, unique flavors that you won’t find a lot of other places. I ordered half fresh cantaloupe shaved ice with half fresh mango shaved ice and added cream(which ended up being like sweetened condensed milk rather than half and half as I was expecting). At any rate it was delicious! I definitely want to come back.

Pickadilly-this, Pickadilly-that. I had to get me a Pickadilly while I was in San Antonio. Luckily, we found this spot and it did not disappoint. I ordered a cherry-flavored pickadilly and it was AMAZING. My mouth is watering as I’m typing this, ugh. Just enough chamoy and lucas on it. You just have to go try it! We also ordered a bowl of cucumbers with chamoy and lucas. So fresh and tasty! Needless to say, this place hooked it up. We got two small(which seemed pretty huge for a small) pickadillies and a bowl of cucumber bites — all of $ 9. Worth it!

Heard from a friend about this place and glad I came out and tried it. My girlfriend is really picky with mangonadas and I was nervous she wasn’t going to like it. Well m&m thank you, I can’t get her to stop telling me to take her here. We try and go every Sunday after church. Chocolate brownie funnel cake is on point!!! Fried pickles are good! Think the best I had so far(way better than restaurants) Fruit cups are good also. Iam scared to try something else and get hook on it. I heard the fried Oreo legit. Think We met the owner, really nice and friendly guy. One suggestion don’t know if they have it or not, but fried mushrooms would be amazing

Disappointing first time here ! After reading the great reviews about this place I decided to give them a try since I was in the area. I was craving a fruit cup and when I first got in, it was like stepping into a shoebox, the line of 4 customers was almost out the door and was at an absolute standstill. This lady was waiting an unusually long time for the rest of her order and it was finally down to the ice tea, after receiving it, it was more like hot tea and needed ice and then she needed a straw and they were all out ! Seriously, out of straws ?! I was about to leave, but I had already waited long enough for my fruitcup, there was no turning back ! After finally getting it, it was ok for a fruitcup and they put this white fruit/vegetable mystery which should not be in a fruit cup! I will not be going back to this place again in a while after the poor service.

It’s was an uneventful Easter Sunday, we were bored, we wanted stuff to melt in our mouths. After a quick Unilocal consult, my boyfriend and I were on our way to a side of town we’d never been to before and about to taste what can only be described as fruit raspa alchemy. The M & M dudes were about to close for the day, but couldn’t resist our our mad persuasive skills. That’s worth three stars alone, you guys! These two dudes were very proud of their stuff and gave us samples of several raspa flavors. Now, let me explain why M & M raspas(or shaved ice cups) are so special. These are not your typical shaved iced cups drowned in crappy sugary syrup. These are more like cups of fruit snow. LITERALLY. Imagine a frozen mango perfectly shaved in a soft and fine texture that dissolves into pure mango juice the moment it hits your tongue. Imagine the real fruit flavor. Imagine the real fruit texture. In. Your. Mouth. I hope you’re not at work.

For the longest time, I’ve been on the hunt for a fruit cup place that not only serves cups of cold cucumber but also has the perfect chile to sprinkle on the top. M&M’s is my new go-to place for this fix. $ 2 got me a bowl of chopped up ice-cold cucumber with chile so good, I asked for extra. My husband ordered mango shaved ice and it was unlike anything I’ve had before. Even the time I got shaved ice from a man over in Puerto Rico who was biking around with a huge block of ice and a razor doesn’t measure up to M&M’s. It’s so infused with flavor! Because we are admitted gluttons, we also ordered a fried twinkie which was the best one I’ve ever had. And believe you me, I’ve had more than my fair share from anywhere that’ll serve them up… For everything it was under $ 10 so stop by for some cheap fruit eats or some cheap guilty pleasures.

Not waiting for some kind of festival or carnival for delicious fried concoctions. I’m totally in. Being down the street from this marvelous place, double win! They have literally everything! From fried pickles, funnel cakes, fried pop tarts, fried ice cream to fried banana splits and fried candy bars. I couldn’t think of any other place that had so many fried options. And if you not into getting your arteries clogged they have fruit cups, snow cones, ice cream and a million other yummy things. There open all week long and the staff are super friendly. I’ll defiantly be coming here whenever I get a junk food craving.
