Seriously the best breakfast in San Angelo. Nothing say yum like a margarita and eggs. I don;t know how they do it, but they put so much flavor into their food. I had on one occasion the brisket hash and damn was it it delicious. The second time I went more traditional and had the french toast. Snap dog, this frizzle is the shizzle! Fo-rizzle! What, $ 5 hangover cocktail, why yes, I think I will.

I wish I could give 5 stars. Food excellent! We set by the kitchen and the chef was amazing. Neat atmosphere. The service was not up to par. We wanted to order drinks and the server did not know what were in any of the specials in fact he said well we aren’t even serving those anymore(they were on the big chalkboard). My water was empty two different times and we had to stop him to get refills. Disappointed in the service for sure. Would come back for the food!

I was in town for two weeks and the Grill was a place that a lot of friends recommended. The place was hopping so we sat outside on the patio(it wasn’t as hot or humid on this day). The bar area was nice, as you can see the flames cooking up all the different meats. The ribs I ordered were almost perfect. The texture and tenderness was spot on… fell right off the bone as advertised. The char was a bit too salty for my overall taste, but let me tell you, I didn’t leave any on my plate. The key lime pie was the best I had tried out of the 3 places I ordered it. Not overpowering on tart or sweetness. Just right. Overall, would definitely go back and try more of the menu items. Had the ribs been a bit less salty, a definite 5-star.

What a pleasant surprise! I left San Angelo over 25 years ago with no true memories of top notch dining establishments. Returning to the area as a gluten-free diner, I was pleased to find a very knowledgable staff with many tasty selections. We sat near the grill and watched the staff interacting with each other and I am so impressed with their team work and professionalism. Food and service was top notch!!! We will be back!

Wow, what a gem in San Angelo! Everything was prepared perfectly: pineapple margarita, salmon cooked medium, perfectly sautéed spinach and yummy tres leches cake! Can’t wait to come back!

Really good food! Very small building. Aside from a small covered patio there is really not but one place to accommodate a large group so we had to wait awhile for the large group already at that table. Food was very good. I had the fish tacos and very much enjoyed them. It was a perfectly grilled fillet that I got to cut up and add to my corn tortillas and make the tacos myself. I added the slaw, guacamole and some sassy dressing they had. Soooo good! Also great was the grilled zucchini I had as my side. There were several grilled veggies to chose from as my side so it was hard but I made a good choice. Everyone enjoyed their food selections and drink choices. They do have some good drink specials. Yesterday happened to be $ 3 margarita day so… We did not order dessert. One because we didn’t have room after the great food and two because the sweet old man making the desserts didn’t seem to know where the gloves were and wasn’t only making desserts. If you sit by the actual open viewing grill be ready to go home smelling like smoke and we definitely did. All in all a good experience. I would recommend this spot for a special occasion. Little price for me!

I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a local friend. Although I did not have an alcoholic drink they appear to have a great menu of beer and drinks. The food menu had a lot of what I am told, local favorites. I gave a thought to the blackened ribeye, however I saw one delivered to the table next to me and it was way too much food for just me. So, I chose the«surf and turf» which was hey small fillet and grill shrimp. These were served with mashed potatoes and steamed zucchini(my choice of several steamed vegetables). The filet was cooked perfectly! The shrimp was wonderful and I loved the mashed potatoes, they were creamy and delicious. There was a sauce on the zucchini that was good. It was pricey but important to note… WORTH the price. Service(by Benjamin) was outstanding! I shall return :)

I never review restaurants, but had to mention this one, we eat at cork and pig, and the market all the time and highly recommend it!!! The grill came highly recommended but was extremely disappointed!!! Service was horrible, very uninterested waitress, and food was cold!!! I know this restaurant came be much better…

First off, the food here is amazing. Everything is made in house and to order. There is a good mix of different styles but everything tastes real and the spice is a huge compliment to the dishes. The fish is very fresh and well spiced, and for the price the food is well worth it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. The bartender, Wendy, is awesome at making drinks and can make a mean Bloody Mary and martini. The atmosphere suites the food perfect; its upbeat, modern, and cozy. I plan on coming back to try new dishes and drinks, and recommend it to anyone in the San Angelo area that is looking to have something new and adventurous.

In town for a little bit and was a bit worried about the food selection that San Angelo had to offer. But definitely pleasantly surprised with how delicious this place ended up to be. For our starters my boyfriend and I ordered their pork nachos and they were bomb! So good. Whatever sauce they put on top was good. Entrees — pastrami sandwich with friend fries were SOGOOD. A must try. The coleslaws what made it. — brisket tacos were good but the sandwich was better. Tacos were a bit plain. Service was good and ambiance was nice. Overall highly recommend this place! Prices were not too bad but portions made up for it.

My family and I stopped in to eat on December 28, 2015. We had a delicious meal, an attentive server and enjoyed the ambiance. When I got out of my car to go into the restaurant, I accidentally dropped a diamond ring that belonged to my grandmother in the parking lot. I called the restaurant when I realized it was missing and Taylor went outside in the ice and cold to search for it for me. She found it and kept it safe until a family member could pick it up. In this day and age, it is so refreshing to run across honest, caring people. This restaurant not only offers a unique menu with great dishes made with care but they employee great people. Defintiely a pleasant surprise.

This is my first time to have brunch here, and it has been a huge disappointment. The good: reasonably-priced mimosas and large portions of food. The bad: slow, inattentive, and apathetic service; inedible potatoes; over-cooked eggs. My husband had to send his plate back, it was that bad. He ordered the brisket hash– the potatoes were so hard he couldn’t even stab them with his fork, and the sunny egg had a hard yolk that was cooked all the way through. As soon as we received the plate, we realized the state of his meal. We both sat there, full plates, waiting for someone to check in… our server was MIA and the hostesses and other servers passed us without notice. Finally, our server reappeared and rectified the horrible plate. Our second round of mimosas took 22 minutes and 43 seconds to get to our table(yes, I timed it). I had to spit out 4 potatoes as I couldn’t even chew them. All this, and they weren’t even busy. A Sunday morning with half a house, plenty of servers and kitchen staff, a substandard showing. We might give this place a chance to redeem itself for brunch, if I can get my husband to step foot back in here. He’s pretty disgusted, and do don’t blame him.

We have eaten here probably seven or eight times, and each time is more amazing than the next. The food is unbelievable. We usually get the smoked salmon grilled with mesquite wood and over Cedar. I highly recommend this place as it is the best place to eat, without question in San Angelo. The staff is always very friendly, even if it’s busy or if it’s 3 o’clock in the afternoon. I can’t say enough good things about this place. This is the way restaurants should be. My hats off to the management

I found out about The Grill on Unilocal and decided to give it a try for brunch with my friends… we ended up coming back for dinner! The food here is cooked perfectly and they also have a great drink selection(Jalapeño Margarita-tini FTW). They have the best fish tacos in town and their skillet cornbread is amazing. Also, they do tres leches right. The bartenders and servers are all great, with my glass never going empty. I’ll probably be back this weekend…

Great service and high quality food. While the food is a little bit more expensive than most San Angelo establishments, the quality of food makes it well worth the price.

This is THE spot for San Angelo TX. Whether you’re looking for good drinks with the other half or one of the best meals San Angelo has to offer this is it. My wife craves the Baja fish tacos and we drive all the way from San Antonio to enjoy this place. Never had bad service but this place should definitely expand its seating, it wouldn’t have a problem filling up!

First timers so we relied on Unilocal!ers contributions. Our table ordered the pastrami sandwich which was awesome since the meat was homemade. Ribeye was excellent cooked to order flavorful and with a great char. Too much brisket and not enough tortillas– A very first for us. We will be back!

I’ve given them two chances. There is an extreme difference between Fri/Sat and a weekday. Meaning the cooks. When a steak is ordered rare and comes back looking like a burger… sad. Potatos were cold. Waiter was less than attentive… Tuesdays are not a good time to go. Move to a Sat. …ordered pastrami, received chicken salad. Tastes like mayonnaise far too much bread for the sandwich. …and it’s not that I wanted chicken salad. Chips and queso/guac. good job. An appetizer was tasty. It appears like this place has a lot of potential, but if it’s your lucky day or not will determine your opinion. Seems I have poor luck.
