Great, authentic Mexican food. The service and cleanliness leaves a little to be desired, but I will definitely be back.

Too greasy, too salty. Bad ambiance. The place was packed on a Sunday. Local people seem to enjoy the food, but both of our plates were loaded with oily grease. We felt better before we got there and not so great after we left. Can’t touch California Mexican food, but didn’t expect it to and was still disappointed. Have enjoyed many better restaurants in the area.

Let me tell y’all, I have gone to several Mexican restaurants and this is by far the best. I am so please to know there is still good food in this town. I will be sad to leave and hope they continue to get a lot more business!

This place was AWESOME! They serve a bean dip along with chips and hot sauce which is amazing. After stopping in for a «snack» while headed home from vacation, my husband had the cheese enchiladas and ate the whole plate because it was so delicious. I had the tamale plate and they were the best tamales I’ve ever had(tasted like they were made with homemade Mesa). The beans and rice were homemade, fresh and delicious. This pave is BYOB(can be good or bad… this day I was craving a margarita). Honestly, I am glad this place isn’t closer to home or I’d weigh 500 lbs!

I had the Mexican flag and the wife had mixed fajitas… both were excellent and the chips and salsa were the real deal… oh, and I really liked the refried beans with tomatillo sauce on top. I had leftovers the next day for lunch. Definitely be coming back.

Why did I wait until my last week in San Angelo to come here? DELICIOUS!!! Chips, salsa, beans for free. Got the enchilada plate, two chicken, one beef, all tasty. The water is filtered so it doesn’t have the San Angelo flavor. Prices are amazing for the amount of food and honestly, if the portions were smaller, it would still be a great price.

Great Tex-Mex food! This is my go-to place when in San Angelo. I’m going to say this this one of the best Mexican food joints I’ve been to, and I’ve travelled extensively. You’ve got to go with the Mexican Steak/Steak Ranchero plate that comes with a cheese enchilada… excellent! Chile Rellenos are great too. This place is BYOB, some come prepared.

A little family owned and operated joint that my parents took me to. The beans are awesome! Every time I have eaten here I have liked everything I have ordered. I wish them continued business and hope to eat every time I come to town. Kid friendly place too!

Affordable and delicious Mexican in San Angelo. Total Mom and Pop type place that is BYOB(the only downside). Prices are super reasonable! The chicken fajitas were amazing, a plate of sizzling chicken and onions, with sides of lettuce, rice and guacamole. Best pico de gallo I’ve ever had and I consider myself a pico snob(I make my own at home on a regular basis). Chips and salsa also came with a plate of refried beans. Chili con queso was tasty as well, with a perfect kick of spice. Salsa was perfect, a big spicy and the right amount of chunk. Husband has the Mexican lunch special for $ 6.00! Two enchiladas(one beef and one cheese) with beans and rice. Was recommended by a local and was well worth the stop!

Delicious!!! Had the steak bits and they were so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Husband had the grilled tilapia and loved it. Mother in law had chicken enchiladas and said they were great. We will be coming back!

Not bad at all, I love little out of the way mom and pop Mexican, above average enchiladas, very good salsa and chips, I read reviews on Unilocal about the chicken fry steak but was in a Mexican food mode, I would recommend and I will return to try more menu items!

This place also has reviews under«Paisano Restaurant». First off, the salsa and chips are some of the best in town! The beans are delicious, and the rice is good. Tacos Mexicanos is the best thing on the menu, but ask for no onions if you don’t like them. It is 70% onions otherwise. I’m not a fan of their chile rellano — it’s a chile wrapped in an omelet and covered in ranchero. Everything else I’ve tried there is good. Service is great and seems to be a family run business. I will keep going back.
