Mmmmmmmmmm. I’m kind of fussy about burgers. Oftentimes they just aren’t cooked very well and its hard to disguise with toppings. My burger was cooked to perfection. The toppings, usually very forgettable, were fresh and crisp and delicious. And the bread? Worth the carb intake. I was among a group of 5. Our orders didn’t come out at the same time. But they were all uniformly delicious. I wish I could remember exactly what everyone had, but I know it was a range that included a chicken sandwich and salad. I’m a stickler for cleanliness. No one seemed in a hurry to clear tables or sweep at all. We just wiped off our table with a napkin. It was kind of busy so we were just really happy to get a table. I quickly forgot my surroundings anyway. I got lost in burger bliss. They get the onion rings right here. Trust.

TRULY love this place… we go often. the prices are very REASONABLE and the staff are extremely courteous and kind… We always order the large Caesar Salad! with extra parmesan and croutons at NO cost… The fries are wonderful. The restaurant is SPOTLESS! We enjoy sitting outside on the patio in the summer thank YOU Habit of Sugarhouse!

I come to The Habit because of their onion rings. These are no ordinary onion rings, no, these onion rings are fried so perfectly they almost twinkle when the light hits them. I do not eat onion rings– I inhale them. I also like ordering my burgers Santa Barbara style and they used to generously stuff avocados on the sandwiches but recently I’ve noticed a trend of skimping a little. My only major complaint is that they struggle to wipe down their tables and a lot of the times that I’ve eaten in their lobby, the garbage has been stuffed to the brim. They need to give a little more TLC to their dining area. Aside from that issue, The Habit’s a solid choice.

Great burgers here, and good service. Order a char burger with avocado and sub it with a veggie patty. Makes me wonder why I’m a meat eater.

Great food and the workers are always friendly. I am giving them three stars because ordering over the phone for pick-up hasn’t been as pleasant as dining-in. I’ve ordered over the phone a few times and each time, the lady who answered(I think her name was Jamie), comes off as distracted and disinterested. With long pauses and a monotone voice — it is evident that she either does not care about delivering good customer service over the phone. I honestly feel like an idiot with her long pauses. Some pauses are so long that I wonder if the line was disconnected. The habit gives a pick-up time. I understand that things can run behind but the restaurant wasn’t busy and for every to-go order I’ve had to wait at least ten minutes for my food if not more. It’s not like I have a huge order — usually ordering for two. If they need that extra time to prepare my food that I prepaid for then they need to tell me a later time for pick-up so I’m not scrambling to get there only to find myself waiting.

I love Habit! Pretty much everything is good, but the menu is a little confusing. Peppers available to self serve are awesome & fry sauce is good. Sweet potato fries are awesome here!

The Habit is a burger place I go to when I am too hungry to think about going anywhere else. They have good burgers for a good price, plus good fries and fry sauce. And, I especially love their Cucumber Strawberry Limeade — it is a bit sweet for me but I just love the cucumber in it. I usually order the BBQ Bacon Charburger(Bacon, mayonnaise, pickle, fresh tomato, lettuce and caramelized onions on a toasted bun) which is very good. I also like the Double Char Santa Barbara Style that comes on grilled Sourdough and is more like a sandwich. I have also tried the Albacore Tuna Filet which is very good: Line-caught, sushi-grade tuna steak with a teriyaki glaze, crisp shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and our homemade tartar sauce. I really like their condiments bar. They have some jalapenos and yellow hot peppers that are very nice. Plus some citrus to compliment your meal. I like it. Traffic can be a bit difficult on 2100 South but I have found that parking is very easy in the adjacent lot.

I’ve got to say, these burgers are pretty good. A little on the pricey side but I’d be hard-pressed to tell you why this burger isn’t on the top of my list of fast food. I ordered the double char and it was super juicy. There was a good balance of all ingredients in the burger and I was left feeling deeply satisfied with every bite. They had a large selection of condiments and the fries were tasty and hot which is a must for any burger place. Also, I didn’t feel like I was about to have a heart attack. Almost always a good thing. The staff was friendly and the manager even came by to check on how our food was. When the manager is paying attention to the customers, that’s a good sign of a good, clean establishment. The Habit is chain restaurant found in California, Utah, Arizona, and a number of other states. Give it a try if you are looking for a quick bite while in the area.

It’s delicious. It’s reasonably priced, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Also you can order online, which is a great idea because when you customize your cheeseburger it gets kinda complicated, since there are several types of buns, and you can get nearly any combination of veggies on your burger too. One great part about this place is the sides(The fries, the Shakes, the salads, etc.) Are all price around $ 2 or $ 3, so for once, you can get a tasty and reasonably priced side salad with your meal. The pricing encourages healthy choices, because how many of us choose the $ 2 french fries on account of the silliness of paying $ 6 for a salad at a fast food joint? The milk shakes are amazing by the way. Mocha Malts for the win! I kinda like them better than Hire’s Milkshakes. I know it’s a chain, but bear with me, it’s a great place for«high end» fast food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

This is my all-time favorite place when I’m craving a classic cheeseburger. Every single time we have gone here, I’ve left happy, and I don’t leave feeling like I ate a greasy mess. It’s fresh, clean, and flavorful. I especially love getting my cheeseburger ‘lettuce wrapped’. If you get bacon, it’s not your paper thin style bacon, but real breakfast style delicious bacon. I also like their salads, not because they are the best I’ve ever had, but because they are delicious for a burger joint, and I can leave satisfied if I ordered one, instead of a burger. I hope Habit continues to do really well, because they’re really the only place I enjoy getting a burger. Other than Blacks Sliders, of course, but that’s a different kind of mood for me.

This place is dangerously close to where I live, resulting in me eating here more times than I care to admit. It was also my reward for running the Salt Lake Marathon(you gotta replenish all those calories, right?) It’s, whatever. I’ve tried almost every burger and I have never been disappointed. You can get a burger Santa Barbara style; avocado and sourdough bread instead of buns(insert a-ok sign emoji). The Habit is tried and true and knows their stuff.

The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in the door with genuine smiles. The menu is simple but has something for everyone including kids. The layout of the restaurant is really nice and everything(including the restrooms) was brand new and spotless. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone and I know I’ll be coming back.

A good solid burger joint. I ordered the mushroom char, and it was really quite tasty. I would say that The Habit Burger Grill is a slight step above most chains such as Five Guys, Smash Burger, etc. I did not order any fries, but I hear they’re really good-so I’ll have to order those and update my review next time.

Driving around sugarhouse and really wanted a burger. Found this little gem and really enjoyed it. We both ordered the Santa Barbara burger. Toasted sourdough bread resembling a warm grilled cheese. Double burger patties with cheese. Had avocado on it but I couldn’t really taste it. Burger literally tasted like someone put a hamburger patty into a grilled cheese. Fantastic. I do have one complaint though, the music was so loud it seemed more like a dance club that a lunch place. Almost to loud to talk to the person across the table from you.

Double char with grilled onions, fries and root beer. Hmmm… Should be a home run, right? Kind of. The first few bites were great. But thereafter, it was just ok. Fries aren’t my favorite, but they’re crunchy, with plenty of salt. I guess it’s safe to say that I prefer Crown and In-N-Out. Our table had remnants of past burgers and condiments. Not a big deal, but they’re usually pretty clean, which was a bit disheartening.

Once upon a time when I was a hungry college kid in the 818, I would inhabit this fine little burger spot called The Habit. This place is damn good. The only thing that’s changed is now they’re in Utah; my beautiful Sugar House is now providing this hometown splendor. Yes, the burgers are great! The fries… Awesome! And tonight, partly what prompted this loving review is the sweet potato fries: They are crispy, with a little bit of sweetness. Next to my charburger, perfect. Because I’m never growing up… Did I get an ice cream cone in below freezing temperatures? Yes, and what of it? A buck, Unilocal comrade! A buck! Do not be mistaken: This little burger joint packs some POW and you will be pleased! Selection, service, and satisfying food… Try it all!

Next to lucky 13, this is my favorite vegetarian burger. It’s more expensive than fast food, but the quality is dramatically better. I also recommend the sweet potato fries.

I am a cheeseburger monster. I go crazy for cheeseburgers the same way Cookie Monster goes crazy for cookies. When I saw the new Habit opened up in Sugarhouse, I started screaming«MEWANTBURGER» and flailing my arms about until my husband relented. This place is burger Heaven! First off, the restaurant is clean, sparkling and spacious; the décor is not what I expected from a burger joint. It has a very Southern California surfer beach vibe which is a cool pace from the normal Utah cowboy-themed eateries. You go in, place your order and take a seat. The staff will bring your food to you. There’s a very small condiment bar with ketchup, fry sauce(oh Utah, how I love your weird food options), and a couple of varieties of peppers. Next to that is a self-service soda fountain(no Coke Zero, a huge bummer for me – I opted for free ice water). The menu is pretty simple and the prices are CHEAP. Burgers with a few add-ons. I got a double cheeseburger and added bacon. I’m a low carber so I was super excited when the man behind the counter asked me if I’d like my burger«lettuce wrapped» when I ordered it without a bun! Yes! The employees here know how to properly wrap a burger in lettuce so it won’t fall apart. If you are a low carb eater, you can eat like a king here. Burgers come with tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, pickles(super good pickle slices), cheese and tasty grilled onions. The onions were the star of the show! The beef was very high quality and seasoned perfectly. I’m so sick of grossly underseasoned meat patties that taste like nothing(Smashburger and Five Guys, I’m talking to you)! The Habit’s meat tasted so yummy — salty, fresh and slightly greasy, just like a real, satisfying cheeseburger should. The cheese was your standard American fare — I would like to see more«real cheese» options added to the menu. Since I try to limit my carbohydrates, I did not order the french fries but they looked and smelled amazing. My favorite thing about The Habit is their portion sizes — they are NOT skimpy! When you pay $ 1 extra for bacon, they LOADUPYOURBURGERWITHBACON! Want to add avocado? You’ll get a huge portion. This place is a value, believe me. The night we ate here the manager was working the register and was so nice and friendly. You can tell he really takes pride in his business. I can’t wait to go back because writing this review has made me feel like screaming«MEWANTHABITBURGERAGAIN»!
