Finally tried this place after driving by numerous times and it was great. Friendly staff, great bacon cheeseburgers for a reasonable price. Definitely will be returning, looking to try the fish n chips and a couple flavors of shakes.

I met some friends here to try out the food. It didn’t disappoint. The employees were very friendly and make you feel at home. The good was prepared quick and very delicious. I’d recommend the bacon cheeseburger. It was perfect.

Lunch at Millie’s and once again it was hot and fresh. My double Millie was perfect again. I order mine without the special sauce with mustard instead. Fries were good as well. Millie’s has great appetizers in the fried zucchini and mushrooms and is family locally for their shakes. I have been coming here since it first opened as an artic circle and the current owners have had it for 44 years now. Just a great family owned establishment.

Have been looking at this place for 4 years. Finally stopped by several weeks ago. Our family is in a shoestring at the moment and have only had the regual hamburger and cheeseburger, fries and ice cream cone. We are excited about it, though. The prices make it possible for us to have a treat every now and then. The taste is way better than franchise food and with tge other items on the menu, we have something to look forward to down the road.

I went here for a milkshake. For some reason, Utah likes their thick shakes. I also ended up getting a burger, which was mediocre. Service was meh.

I tried their signature burger, it was nothing special. The shakes are good.

My favorite fries in all the world! So so good. It doesn’t matter what else you order, make sure to get fries. Fries. Fries.

I took my 10 year old nephew to Millies for lunch on a hot summer afternoon. I wanted something different from franchise burgers. Millies has the feel if a small town burger and shake shack that kind of resonates with my early childhood memories. In fact, one of the ladies working there mentioned she had worked at Millies for 44 years– starting when she was just a kid with her parents. Of all things on the menu, my nephew ordered the footlong hotdog which came with ketchup and mustard. Great for kids(and he loved it) but I would think an adult may find it underwhelming. I ordered the mushroom bacon swiss jalepeno burger which was ok; pickled jalepeno rather than fresh but good bacon. I thought the fries were good and rather crispy. The interior is small and rather cramped but they do have outdoor seating which really helps. Where this place shines is with their shakes and their service. Over the top shakes with a variety of flavors which are perfect for the hot summer day. The service is top notch: fast, efficient, and spot on.

Great burgers, great fries, friendly staff, local favorite. My favorite part: GLACIERS. You know, slush with ice cream floating in the middle. My fav is Chocolate Ice Cream with Cherry slush. They’ll think you’re weird ordering since everyone goes with vanilla, but trust me on this one. So good!

This is my go to place for good old fashioned burger and fries. It’s one of the best AND cheapest places to grab a hamburger. It’s always quick and the food is tasty and greasy(in a good way). I like to get the Millie’s burger, no cheese, and some fries without fry sauce. I’m in the minority in this great state of ours, ethnically and food-wise, I just don’t like fry sauce.

burger was not the best but the chicken crunch/tenders were good as with the fries. It is however closer then Woody’s drive in soooo… I may be back.

A very nice burger joint to hang out, especially on a nice warm evening with the family. The milkshakes were bomb… The«Millie Burger» was alright, I was hoping something new, but it tasted like a crown burger. Lol. I’d definitely go back and try a different burger with the fam.

I remember coming here quite often as a child. Now that I’m back in the area I figured I’d give it a try! For the food we received it was not worth the price. The burger was good but I should have just got the burger and onion rings and no drink. :/the combo comes with about 8 – 10 rings. A majority of them being small. Oh! Beverage refills cost money. The staff was friendly and the establishment was clean.

Great service and food. I have loved this place since I was little. Every time I visit Utah I have to stop in for a Millie burger and fresh cut French fries. They never disappoint me. This place ha stayed exactly the same for as long as I can remember. It is awesome!!!

I’ve had a lot of burgers in SLC. Hell, I’ve had a lot of burgers throughout the US. I would still choose Millie’s, any day of the week. Some of the best fries and fry sauce that I know of. Honestly just can’t be beat. I know a lot of my family loves some of the other menu items like the fried zucchini, and the corndogs are pretty reliable for the little kids. Just writing this review makes me pretty much ready for more. This place is honestly one of the most precious burger joints in the city. It just can’t be beat. Gets a little busy at peak hours but they’re pretty quick so don’t be afraid to drop in. Honestly, try this place if you haven’t already.

I’ve been meaning to try Millie’s Burgers for about 15 years. Sadly, they are closed on Sundays and that’s when I seem to get the greasy-spoon urge(it may have something to do with Saturday night activities). This last weekend, the stars aligned. We were hungry. We were craving burgers. It was Friday night! Millie’s, here we come! The place is pretty tiny and reminds me of the drive-in style burger joint that inhabits every small Utah town. It seems like it would fit better on Main Street in Ephraim than in the heart of Sugarhouse, but I’m glad it’s here. We were greeted by a couple of teenage girls who were very polite and professional. They were taking orders, stocking and cleaning. Lots of cleaning. The place was pretty sparkly. There was an actual grown-up woman in the back, doing the cooking and handing out marching orders. Good idea! The food was very good, if not exceptional. The fries were super good and appeared to me made from fresh potatoes. I had the ¼lb. bacon cheeseburger and it was better than most. We will certainly visit Millie’s again, as long as we get the craving on any given non-Sunday.

Even though I grew up in Sugar House area, my parents never really took me to this place before. This place looks real ghetto on the outside, and I was a bit hesitated to enter their parking lot after dark, as there were sights of unfriendly faces within the block. The inside looks clean enough, there were about 5 – 6 seating area inside, and they also got a few seats outside. I tried their Bacon Swiss Jalapeño burger. It was ok, since the jalapenos were a little old inside. The onion ring on the side was terrible, very thick breading and hard. Fry sauce is available here. They also got a variety of fried stuff here as well. Soda refill does cost $ 0.50 even for dine-in. The shake is the thing to get here, it was huge and you should never get the lit since it overfills to the top. The combination on flavor seems like an endless journey, I ended up on some wacky flavor with peanut butter and marshmallow… very thick and peanut buttery. Millie’s Burger is a place where can get a cheap fix on burger, and pretty much get what you paid for. I guess the main reason to stop by here is for their shakes.

The original review sums it all up, but I promised an update when I came back for a full meal. And I’m a man of my word. This time around it was a full meal, and then some. I had the Millie Special burger, which is their pastrami burger rendition. It was nice. Not terribly fantastic, but nice. The fries were pretty darn tasty, and I added a small basket of fried zucchini and fried mushrooms to share with the table. These fried mushrooms were big and mushroomy. I somehow ended up with onion rings, too, and that was good to try. But I can recommend them. Their batter(even on the zucchini and mushrooms) is kinda flat and crackly. The shake, however, was spot on. Chocolate banana, of course, and it was really something. So much so, in fact, that I wanna head back and try something besides the go-to. I tasted a bit of a grasshopper(oh ya!) and could smell the peanut butter. Mantern said his peach shake was good, and I hear the phrase banana cream pie shake and it got my attention. Top honors for the shake. And for the menu diversity – perfect for an old timey dive – and all together it’s a pretty great stop on the burger train.
