All I can say is that I am extremely happy I stayed here for the night. It was truly a pleasant experience. The hotel is located just off I-44, and it’s surrounded by multiple businesses, including Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Denny’s, Domino’s, and Ocean Buffet(go here!). This is a very family-friendly and pet-friendly establishment. The building is well-maintained, and the staff is very professional and hospitable. The rate for one room($ 99-$ 109, I think), is well-worth the expense, considering all the amenities you are getting. They include the following: — Free WiFi — Direct-TV programming — Free continental breakfast(6 – 8 a.m.) — Microwave, stove top, and fridge — Kitchen utensils — Business center — Outdoor swimming pool — Fitness center — Laundry room Again, these are just a few highlights. There were many other hotels in the area. But Mainstay Suites probably tops them all!

I had my card on file for a room and after check out which was paid in cash they kept my card on file for weeks. After calling daily and talking to nearly every staff member to get my card off of «hold» they finally did but charged my card over $ 1000 dollars even though we had already paid in full in cash. I have tired again calling and calling trying to get this resolved I have been promised reimbursement by mail and electronic still nothing months later. I was even given multiple email confirmations from the company(even from a higher up which i wont name cause I’m not that mean) stating I will be issued a refund. Even tried emailing back for someone to please contact me and again nothing. I saw another review stating the managers even commented i hope this review will have them contact me directly. If they know how… They sure knew how to take money from me. So be careful when you stay here watch your account. And make sure you are clear with any staff member there so this doesn’t happen to another person.

I can’t say enough how pleased I am with this hotel! Staying here for army graduation, unfortunately their isn’t anything to do in town but Thankfully this hotel is a safe haven for exceptionally friendly, helpful staff and thee cleanest rooms!!! Staff are on top of everything! If you need more towels, 3 min later they have ran up and gave you them at your door, the shower looks brand new it’s so clean! almost feels like your the first guest to shower in it! Amenities are great, 24 hour access to gym room, 24 hour access to business room, free Internet in your rooms, continental breakfast from 6am –9am, 24 hour access to free Laundry! I mean everything is so great! I wish more hotels would get it right like this one!!! Great job! Sincerely, VISITOR from San Diego, California

I want to update this review to a 5 star simply because the management of this hotel took the time to comment on my review and express their concern that washers and dryers were limited during my stay. That makes this place a 5 star.

This place is excellent. One of the nicest pet friendly hotel we’ve stayed. The room is clean and well equipped. We travel with our dog for our soldier graduation and it is great stay.

This place is an extended stay hotel. My room had a bit of an apartment set-up to it. You walked into a small kitchen(had full-sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and two stove burners), which was connected to a small living room area. Decent sized bedroom and large bathroom. One TV in bedroom, one in living room area. Because it’s an extended stay hotel, maids do not clean or replace towels on a daily basis(although you can request that they come and spruce it up). Also, you don’t get a whole slew of bath products either. Bed was comfy, although blanket was a bit scratchy. They have a little fitness area, but it’s tiny and since most of the guests are military members, it’s typically being used. There’s also laundry machines and a pool(didn’t use either). The breakfast included is nothing special — two choices of cereal, some pastries, and some oatmeal packets, and fruit. But all I need is a banana and toast in the morning, so I was good. Warning — I had some trouble with my reservation because I called the number on and not the actual hotel(but I thought I was speaking to the hotel). The reservation was made, but it was not for the government rate that I requested. When checking in, the employee kinda gave me attitude — «Well, I can’t give you that rate — do you want to pay the rate I can give you or the full price?». He later spoke to his manager and fixed it all. However, it just wasn’t the welcoming I was hoping for after driving 2.5 hours to get there.
