Hampton Inn

Staying here 1 day, checking out today.
Rooms clean, but smaller than other Hampton Inns.
Beds are not Queen, but maybe full size. My feet hung off the edge and also much more narrow. This is also mentioned in a previous review. I guess I should of read it before coming and planned a different room choice.
Our room phone rang at 1:20ish a.m. for some reason. Nobody on other end by time I awoke and figured out it was the room phone.
We heard running foot steps, above our room, probably kids, early this morning.
You can hear coughing and movement in the hallway of our floor.
Breakfast was better than other Hamptons
Everything was nice, but seems smaller scale than other Hamptons.
We are actually checking out at only 1 day vice our planned 2 days.
We just pushing on a day earlier instead.
But I still a Hampton Inn fan. Although each one I stayed has a situation, overall I still prefer them over other chains. All of them always have great staff, their winning point, always!

Very clean rooms, nicely furnished and good prices. They do not have an indoor pool but they have a deal with the hotel next door so you can use theirs. The hot breakfast bar has a good variety and they have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available ²⁴⁄₇. The staff is very nice and were very helpful on places to dine in the area. Since we were moving into the area, they were also very helpful on school information and other local area information.
The negative– our room was above the banquet hall. We could hear the music from the party until after midnight. The elevator kept opening and closing several times before it would finally go up or down. It was a little scary.

This hotel will run you more than some of the budget places in the area but is much less than some other options. I have stayed at multiple Saint Robert hotels and like this one the most. Rooms were clean, staff is polite, all-​day coffee/​hot chocolate/​tea (its decent coffee with two blends available), free cookies in the lobby, breakfast provided, free wi-​fi, workout room, and laundry facilities. Negatives include that the breakfast is okay but not great (rotating egg selection including hard-​boiled daily, bagels, cereals, self-​made waffles, other baked goods, and juices from concentrate), laundry machine is small and not free, beds are okay but not the best, and some of the equipment in the workout area is non-​functional. Even so, its one of the better if not the best options in the area.

Great hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning was okay and the coffee is good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We came in late off the road and they got us a room ASAP.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Free in room internet as well as in the media room. Microwave and fridge in rooms. Free hot breakfast and ALL DAY free coffee, tea and hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Nice open space lobby to chill and visit. Military discount if you are attending graduation at the base. But like another Unilocal reviewer said, rooms with 2 queens are indeed only full size, but very comfortable. If I ever had a reason to return to Ft. Leonard Wood, I’d stay there again.

Staff is friendly but queen size beds are actually full size, hard as a rock and the pillows are too soft.

Stayed here for a military graduation. Its about 8 to 10 minutes from Ft Leonardwood. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and the building seems fairly new. Free hot breakfast is pretty good. I would recommend staying here.

Rooms are nice but do NOT hold an event here! They made promises they couldn’t keep (like providing tablecloths), they made our dj turn down the music and it was still daylight outside & made us shut down an HOUR earlier than we had paid for. We paid to rent the hall from 4pm-​11pm. They didn’t have it set up until after 5 and made us shut down at 10! They even made some of us help them set up and didn’t have the tablecloths they said they provided! The manager didn’t care that we were unhappy so not only will I not be using their facility ever again I will spread the word that nobody should! They knew w would have a dj but then wanted us not to play music?!

Although this was not my first choice for a hotel, It is close to Ft. Leonard Wood and is a Hilton property. With that said, it is really not that bad for the area, just not as nice as other Hampton Inn’s I have been to. The breakfast area is very nice, and offers the typical Hampton Inn fair. I would certainly come back, as it is the best option in the area.

Stayed there for a military graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. They give a military discount which is better than the AAA discount. Ask for it if you or your loved one is in the military. Very friendly and competent staff. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The heater was a little noisy but reasonable. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in room. WiFi included in price. Breakfast included which was very good for a «continental» breakfast. Hot food like eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage. Make your own waffles. Cereal. Fruit. Free parking. Restaurants close by. Would definitely return if I’m in the area again.
