Ocean Buffet

My husband and I love this buffet. The food and service is always great, plus even when it’s busy we haven’t had to wait to be seated. If you’re looking for good Chinese around here I definitely recommend this place

Decent food with decent service. I expected more but for the cost you can’t beat it. They have a wide variety of selections but I am from Southern California and we expect more than a variety. We expect great food. This isn’t great but worth the money.

Came here with a grip a group of four. The food was great. Plenty to choose from and the taste was wonderful. The dining area was nice and comfortable. The desert section was lacking but other than that I found no problem

Huge variety to choose from. There were a few dishes I didn’t care for but there was plenty more to choose from. I assumed it was a typical Chinese Buffet but it had such a large variety of everything from pizza to sushi. The sushi chef was on site making it fresh, the Hibachi grill was my favorite though. I had a whole steak that was tender and flavorful with mixed vegetables I got to choose myself. The Hibachi was almost as good as any of the expensive Japanese Steakhouses I’ve been to. The restaurant was extremely clean and our service was fantastic. Our server was very sweet and took better care of us than most full service restaurants. I have a new favorite place in the area.

Came here today for the first time with a group of friends & I am overall satisfied. The variety and quality of food was none the less satisfying and everything was cleanly and I didn’t see any health cautions being a public buffet. The restaurant was in good conditions and very presentable. The waitresses were very kind and helpful. Good overall experience!

They’re pretty good. So if you’re from the area, it’s the same owners of chopsticks. Hibachi is there and the food is the same. The only thing is the name is a little misleading. You think Ocean buffet you think lots of seafood crab clams oysters fish more fish more fish. That’s not what you get here. It’s a Chinese buffet. The food isn’t terrible i actually like it. My mom LOVES it. To my dad it’s just another Chinese restaurant. Either way you get your fix of yummy greasy Chinese food.

Pretty descent Chinese buffet. Sushi was better quality than most places and the hibachi grill was nice. The main area had lots to choose from and was all very tasty. Our waitress was on top her game as well.

Went for the dinner buffet on Saturday. Food was fresh and the place was pretty busy but no wait for seating. The staff was quick about picking up empty plates and refills. The food tasted as good as buffet food should. The desert was good and out daughter found plenty to eat. We will be going back.

This buffet is really good, my favorite part of it is the hibachi grill. The atmosphere of the buffet is very nice as well, and the staff are very friendly too. Highly recommend.

Love this restaurant… A bit of a drive for us, but worth every minute! Food is always fresh… sushi…awesome…pans are always full… it’s just darn good food! Also the pictures I posted of the two people… Don’t even know them… just asked them if they wanted to be on Unilocal…2 thumbs up… I am also really aggravated at myself for not posting or taking picture of the sushi bar or the hibachi grill… oh by the way all you can eat too new your strip… now mind you they r thin. shoot just have them make you two and put them together… always tender and always cooked to perfection. I love this place. can you tell… their ice cream rocks too… those were the flavors we got to choose from that night… in case you r wondering!

I visited Ocean Buffet during a lunch time period. I was initially impressed with the surroundings and openness of the area. The buffet is set up quite good and the selection is quite grand. However I was disappointed with the lack of selection at the Hibachi and Sushi areas. The buffet itself although plentiful and large, many of the foods lacked in satisfying flavour and most of the food temperature was no longer acceptable, being too cold. The pricing was acceptable for the large selection but it falls flat on its poor taste and cold food. Dessert selection was almost as big as the main courses selection and was impressive featuring traditional dessert choices including even soft ice cream from a machine.
All in all I was disappointed by the poor flavour presented by the meals and I cannot really suggest going here if you are looking for food that has its own taste, seeing as everything basically tastes the same here. I give it a 3-​Star rating for its good surroundings and selection, if it tasted better could’ve reached a 4 or even 5.

Clean restaurant and bathrooms, friendly and prompt service kept our drinks filled, and the food was delicious. Extremely large variety, from hibachi to frog legs, very much appreciated in this area.

They had a huge variety of food! And all very good, service was decent ! But overall it was one of the best choices for Asian food!

Great buffet in the area compared to others I read on Unilocal.I’m glad I found this place. Since the family was staying for a week, we needed our Asian fix and what better way to do this than go to a buffet with lots of variety?
Ocean Buffet is not far from the hotel and it’s actually in front of two other hotels in the area and next to Walmart. It looks like a former Ryan’s. The selections and variety were huge. There is a hibachi and sushi bar on the left hand side. There was even a soup section. I was surprised to see Korean hot soup as an option. The Korean community is quite huge here. There are lots of Korean restaurants in the area. There was even Bulgogi beef on the buffet! However, I heard the staff speak in Mandarin. The dessert section had a lot of variety. I liked the ice cream with the piña colada taste.
The dishes, depending which one you choose could be a hit or miss. The fried shrimp was too salty, even the green beans (but we went for lunch the next day and it was perfect). The coconut shrimp is my favorite, along with the teriyaki chicken kabobs.
Overall, a fan, especially in the limited food options in the area. Made me miss Atlanta much.

I feel the restaurant was clean and food was decent for a Trough feeding environment. …With that said, people before me spilt sauce on the plates and dropped the serving utensils in the food… I removed them and set them aside thinking they would replace them… well and hour later they were still there… then a disturbing thing occurred as we were paying for our bill, A White male approx 40 years old came in and responded to a sign in their door stating they were Hiring for a Host… They were rude and bluntly stated «We don’t need anyone»! My wife then turned to the hostess and said you have a sign in the door stating you need a Host! The hostess then stated «we want woman» they were extremely rude and the appearance was racist… Shame on this establishment. …

Good selection, friendly service, clean place! The Mongolian grill is great! The sushi that I ate was very tasty. Everything I’ve eaten off of this buffet is good.

Awesome service! Very clean. They kept the bars well stocked and it was all fresh. So much to choose from. We will be back. It’s the closest we have found compared to Boston Chinese. Just needs Boston duck sauce

$ 15 for two people??? That’s amazing! My husband and I went for dinner last Saturday while I was visiting him and we were very satisfied. Great variety of food, sushi, and hibachi. I wish that there was a place like this closer to home! If I’m ever in the area again will be returning!

Like the name implies, seafood galore. Although I don’t eat seafood I had fresh hibachi noodle and greenveans. Very clean great choices and tasty.

Mostly your typical Asian buffet but a solid performance, I will being going back for lunch in the future or anytime I do a large amount of exercise.
They have a sushi bar and a pretty awesome hibachi/​mongolian style grill buffet. You walk up, make a plate, and hand it to the chef behind the bar to work their magic. So there is no true Hibachi like most people will think of it, which can be a disappointment since their building specifically says hibachi on the sign.
Some of the items are hit or miss but everyone should be able to find something they like.
We were seated promptly, the restaurant was clean and orderly. Also lunch was cheap! Three people ate for less than $ 30 including sodas and tax.
