Papa Murphys Pizza

I’m not a «pizza loving gal» but my husband is. Friends of ours invited us over for pizza on one of our visits to Green Valley and it was thin crust pizza from Papa Murphy’s. We both absolutely loved the pizza! We’ve picked up a pizza from here on two separate occasions since then. The ingredients taste delicious, the thin crust is nice and crunchy and they have the perfect balance of cheese and red sauce. I am now a «pizza loving gal» again, if the pizza is from here, Yummy!

YIKES! The WORST gluten free pizza I have ever had. It was like trying to eat a paper plate. I will go back to my frozen pizza from the grocery stores!

I stopped in this morning at 11:32 and ordered a veggie gourmet pizza. As I was walking to the bench to wait for my pizza, the host came from behind the prep line with an already made wrapped pizza which he claimed was from a canceled order. I hesitated, but the host assured me it was fresh. I should have insisted on a pizza made as I waited. On the way home I thought, who would order and then cancel a pizza at 11:32 in the morning? It seems more likely that Papa Murphy’s had an extra pizza from the night before and made up a story about a cancellation.
If it was from the previous day it should be marked and priced as day old.

Easily the best pizza in Green Valley/​Sahuarita and the second best in Tucson (behind only Scordato’s). Thin crust is the only true pizza so that is the way to order. Be sure to start the pizza at room temperature and finish cooking directly on the rack to get a crisp crust. All their toppings (that I’ve tried) are excellent with a nice tomato sauce and great, stringy cheese. We always get ours fresh and cook the same day but reports are that freezing/​thawing doesn’t significantly diminish the flavor.

We love this place, service is really prompt, and the Pizza is fresh. While the pizza at two girls pizza is really good the convenience factor this place and the variety and selection is really great for us it works out just fine. Anyway my wife and I highly recommend the place.

Love me some Papa Murphy’s. We’re in town visiting family for a week and we’ve gone TWICE already! It’s great and super convenient especially when you’re not sure what time you may be hungry but definitely want pizza ready when you are. I just wish we had one near us in Chicago. Next time we’re here again I can guarantee we’ll stop in for some pizza. Don’t forget the cheesy bread, it’s delicious!

They were slammed, customers out numbered the employees. our order was wrong, but the quality was good.

Toppings were fresh. Staff was friendly. Cooked up very good when we got home. Recommend Papa Murphy’s and recommend this location.

This Papa Murphys location puts about ¹⁄₃ the cheese that other locations we have done business with. Very disappointed.

Shawna, the manager, who looked right at me when I requested to speak to the manager and told me she was too busy to speak to me, this message is for you. Had you handled this situation differently you would not be reading this bad review on Unilocal!
The person making my pizza left his station (while in the middle of making my pizza) to answer the phone, take a phone order and who knows what else. In the meantime someone else takes over my pizza but my eyes are on this kid because I noticed he was still wearing his gloves. I kept watching and thought well surely he will change the gloves before returning to the pizza! NOPE! At that point I asked for the manager who looked at me and told the lady making the request that she was too busy to speak to me and could I leave my name and number. I said no you can tell your line staff to change their gloves when they leave the line and return to making people’s food! All I can say is Shawna is lucky he didn’t finish my pizza or she would have wished she came over and let me speak to her quietly. Good job shawna. Way to look out for the public’s health.

Since I grew up on the East Coast (New jersey) I know what pizza is supposed to taste like. Since moving here to Arizona I have been looking for a replacement to satisfy my pizza addiction and this comes. It’s as close as its going to get to New York pizza in Southern Arizona and you can stand there while they make your pizza.

I’m reviewing this as a «fast food» type of option, not to be compared with a «gourmet» or even «sit down» pizzeria. Yes, you can pay $ 15 for a basic pie and take it home to bake (you can also buy just the dough) from Two Girls’, but price is part of the «fast food» allure. At the price of store bought frozen pizza, freshness of homemade and the convenience of take-​out this is a winner. For about $ 10 my family can enjoy the weekly special (we have enjoyed all the specials so far so we are always game for whatever they offer) and a «cheesy bread». The salads and desserts look pretty good too.

I was visiting my brother in green valley. We just wanted something uncomplicated for dinner so we both said, ‘Pizza!’
Lucky for me, he recommended we get papa murphy’s. take n bake pizza is a great idea. We quickly got a pizza with everything we wanted and it wasn’t too expensive … they also have some premade salads.
After 15 mins in the oven, the pizza was hot and absolutely delic. I loved the combination of cheeses, the crust was nice and think (yet not hard to chew), and the toppings had awesome freshness and flavor.
Definitely a good choice when you’re feeling lazy but want good quality pizza at home!
Wish they had this place in L.A.
