Think about how long it would take for somebody at a fast food place to start worrying that they’re never going to get the food, and then add about five minutes. That’s how long it took to get one burger and some fries here. I don’t see why, since the kitchen seemed fully staffed. The burger was the same doughy school cafeteria food you get at an A&W, but the fries were pretty good.

Terrible KFC/A&W location. On a recent trip a local homeless person was blocking the entrance as he was picking through the inside trash bins for discarded food. The tables were all dirty and hadn’t been wiped down. The restaurant was out of lids for sm/​med cups. And my order had to be sent back (it wasn’t what I had ordered). Although the staff were very polite and accommodating, I doubt I’ll ever eat here again.

It’s 9pm and they close at 10pm. But for some reason they are out of chicken?
Customer service is okay but the fact they ran out of chicken at a f’n chicken place before closing is bonkers.

Ok, KFC, you have one primary job — to have the chicken. For the second time in a row, you just failed at the single most important aspect of your business. Why do you continually NOT have the chicken?

The customer service my boyfriend and I received at this KFC location was superb! Liz is truly great at her job, and was patient, kind, and went out of her way to make our experience an unforgettably delicious one. Thanks, Liz! Hope to see you again next time a craving for fried chicken kicks in! :)

Worst KFC in southern Sacramento. New manager took over several months back and the place has really gone down. They’re routinely out of chicken! Expect to be hit up for free food from frequent loiterers near the parking lot. The staff is nice enough but nice staff doesn’t cut it when a chicken restaurant is continually out of chicken.

Went to this KFC on Friday 1÷3÷14 for some wings. Right off the bat I knew it was a bad idea. It was dirty, had to ask the staff to clean the table. SO we ordered our wings and waited. We waited forever. When we got the food, the wings were old… So my husband asked them to remake the wings so we would get some fresh wings. They were terrible! SO we told the manager Scott, the guy with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills what so ever. He told us no. He is not giving a refund. We stormed out of there just disgusted with KFC. We will never set foot in another KFC. KFC has literally gone down the toilet with their food and customer service. With Scott running this place, I don’t see this KFC being open very long. …

This review is for the A&W part of this place. I have no issues with the KFC part.
Worst hot dog (Coney Dog) I ever had in my life. HOW does something as simple as a hot dog go so wrong? To add insult to injury, the jerk manager/​owner refused to refund or exchange it. The burgers are just so-​so, really nothing special, so why bother, with so many other places to go? The root beer is great, and apparently made from scratch there using the A&W recipe, so that impressed me.
The clientele here is sometimes a bit dicey, being that it’s in an area with many homeless, but it’s always been clean and non-​threatening. We’ve always been happy with the KFC chicken here. The manager just needs to go back to corporate training school to learn some basic customer skills.

Slow service. That’s pretty much the headline. Figuring that I would visit during the post-​lunch lull, I stopped in at 1:30p on a Friday. There were 8 people in line in front of me. In spite of plenty of motion in a kitchen, very little actual chicken was being served. It took 25 minutes to get three semi-​warm chicken strips. It would have been faster to pluck my own.

How do you run out of chicken? Isn’t this a chicken restaurant? We showed up at 745 and there was no original recipe made. The woman behind the counter was very bitchy toward her fellow workers. I will not come back to this location. It’s been 15 minutes and we are still waiting for our food. Seriously?

There was human feces outside! In a pile and on the wall!!! Wtf!!! I told the staff and they said it happens everyday «we are downtown after all» The patrons were disgusting… smelling/​looking/​sounding and probably feeling and tasting. The chicken tenders were so dry that I would describe them as dry.
The Mtn. Dew was delicious :)
I’m not coming back

If you’re like me, you love chicken but hate the grisle, tendons and extra junk that comes with the bone. That’s why I rarely eat fried chicken. Today I had a chance to try KFC’s boneless combo and it was delicious! It was everything I like about the colonel’s original recipe bird and none of what I don’t. I even opted for green beans instead of the mash and gravy. Ya know, the healthy alternative…

Worst KFC. EVER. Most of the staff is young and unprofessional. They were making fun of each other, swearing, singing/​rapping, dancing, and swatting each other while behind the counter. They were nice enough to the customers, but lazy and incompetent. Instead of horsing around, they should have been cleaning. Even though it was pretty slow and the dining area was almost empty, there were five or six dirty tables with trays of garbage.
Our food came in two bags. I saw a mistake in the first bag, and they corrected it. I asked the girl if the order in the second bag was correct. She checked the receipt, looked in the bag, and assured me that it was. It wasn’t until we got home when we realized that they had left out several things from our order. It was my mistake for trusting her and not checking the second bag myself.
We decided to forget about it and enjoy our dinner. Unfortunately, the food was DISGUSTING. The chicken was dry and inedible. We should have immediately turned around and walked out when we saw how dirty the dining area was. One star because we did not get food poisoning. Never again.

After 20 minutes of waiting, I unstuck my arms from the sticky table and tried to eat cold potato wedges and salty chicken. As I looked around, I could tell this was being run by someone who either takes no pride in his work or is waiting to be fired. With all the people looking for jobs right now and this is the company pick for a location in a prime area? Seriously? KFC– get this manager out of the office and into the parking lot to clean up the dog crap near my parking spot! Then clean up your restaurant!!!

I don’t know if I was still high from the oral surgery the last time I wrote a review for this place, but I’ve been back a couple time since then and it’s pretty much inedible. The dining room is always filthy, the food is disgusting, and the service is somewhere between apathetic and rude. Add this to my list of places I hope go out of business so something else can move in.

I didn’t know how to give ZERO STARS, so the one star is for the overwrought counter staff. They were friendly and polite.
The manager, owner, or whoever he is, is a complete and total jerk. I never saw someone so rude and abusive, both to his staff and to the customers. He stood over the poor cashier while she took my order, then told her everything she did «wrong». Apparently, she didn’t push me hard enough on buying their greasy, stale cookies.
The dining room is a sticky mess. Once I touched the table, I needed napkins. He would not give me any napkins until my meal came. It got ruder, and weirder, after that. Clearly, they get almost no repeat business, judging from the other reviews.
I have a live-​and-​let-​live approach to life, but people so rude and abusive should not be in positions of authority or customer contact. Next, I’m writing. KFC corporate.
Never go to this KFC! It’s not really good for you to begin with, and this kind of experience leads to too much heartburn.

Experience dryness. Dryness is great in the desert, or after you’ve washed your clothes. Not in your friend chicken though. How long are they allowed to hold their food under those heat lamps?
Props for the manager who has no concept of customer service. Maybe he skipped class when they covered that subject at KFC college. At this KFC, the customer is always wrong. Thanks for being rude… dude.

I’m starting to become a fan of these combo restaurants, and the pairing of A&W and KFC works out much more smoothly than Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
KFC has got a nice variety of sides. The mac & cheese has a strange orange glow to it that can only mean it’s bad for you, but it is delicious, and those biscuits are money. I’m a fan of the corn on the cob too, although it’s usually a little mushy.
The place was clean, the staff was friendly and my order came up promptly. No complaints here!
Although I will say that the «Double Down» will likely lead to the demise of Western civilization. You’ve been warned.
