This subway has progressively gotten worse from the time I used to frequent it. The lack of consistent employees make for bad sandwich making and a unenjoyable service. They are open late(until 3 am) but with the lack of security I would most definitely not go in there at that time. The few times I have gone in at a later hour I have seen fights break out and have actually witnessed a man being jumped by 8 other rowdy drunk want to be gangsters. The other issue is that there is always some scummy looking drug addicts lurking out on the front table asking for money or cigarettes. I have seen drugs deals go dow. regularly as I walk to the laundry mat across the street. A little more investment by the owner would go a long way to the quality of the store but it seems to be business as usual.

Came here around 11:30 pm on a Friday night since they are the only subway open this late. When I entered the store, there were no other customers. Then two workers came out from back and helped me. No smile, no friendly gesture. I did not feel welcomed at all. He even forgot to put«sweet onion sauce» on my sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich. Will not be back during late night since it’s obvious the workers do not want to serve anyone and do not enjoy being there.

Just had the opportunity to meet the area director of the company. Very, very kind man that the staff respects. He also was very proud about a recent article in The Sacramento News and Review, in which Subway announced it would accept California’s EBT card. Very cool.

After a disappointing night waiting in line at Alley Katz and not being able to get in to see Manny vs. Floyd, I stopped by this place for a quick bite to eat before I headed home. I ordered the foot-long Spicy Italian on sourdough. For a Subway, I was surprised by how much salami and pepperoni was on this sandwich. And the sourdough was fresh. Sizable amount of olives, lettuce, pepper jack, and mayonnaise on my sandwich. This Subway is spacious with ample seating. Another positive to note is they’re open until 3 a.m.

I went in 15 minutes before they close at 3AM. There were already two customers in the queue getting their sandwiches made by one employee. Another one of the employees came out from the back and turned me away from getting some food, stating that«he had to cut it off after the other customers.» I had to ask him if i could at least get a bag of chips to which he let me, which looking back on it really was very kind of him. I doubled checked with him to see what time their store closes amd he said 3AM at which point he looks at a clock and clearly saw that it wasn’t closing time yet, he said nothing. I don’t expect much from Subway, nor do I expect it to take very long to make a god damn sandwich. But when you turn a customer away thay would generate profit for your business because you are a lazy twit then perhaps maybe your store hours should be reevaluated.

These people put up with drunks and don’t wimp out on the veggies. 5 stars. Great for late night munchies!

Excellent customer service. We took a school field trip to Fort Sutter, and pre-ordered a lot of subs from them so we could eat them outside of the Fort. When I went to pick them up, they had everything ready to go. Jose who works there was really nice, and even threw in cookies! The kids were full & happy. Thanks Jose!

I love Subway! Some locations better than others but I loved this location when I first visited about a couple months ago. I had awesome service and of course an awesome sandwich. I even was bad and purchased cookies that I didn’t need to have. I like that this location is opened late even though I wouldn’t be out in this area at that late hour. Well today before running an errand I stopped first at Subway to order my latest craving a foot long pulled pork sandwich. I needed to use the restroom first but noticed a keypad on the door. I informed the employee that I was going to order a sandwich after using the restroom. Well I was informed I had to show a receipt before I could use the restroom. I assured her I would purchase a sandwich and offered to order it now and maybe some cookies too. She apologized but she had to see a receipt first. I asked to speak to someone else(a gal who was sweeping) but she also stated the same. Now I know there are reasons for store policies and that you can’t always take people at their word but I worked retail and also enforced policies but I knew when to use discretion and override the«rules.» I would rather be burned for trusting someone than be the reason for losing a valued customer. I still like Subway but not this location unless the owner can employ staff that can make decisions towards serving the customer. I left a complaint with the toll free customer service line and maybe I’ll hear back from this Subway. I’ll be willing to give them another chance.

I remember this place being MUCH grosser the last few times I went in a few years ago. We came here a couple weeks ago, desperate for something quick and cheap as we ran errands all day. We were surprised by how clean the store was, how nice and efficient the employees were, and how good the sandwich ended up being. They must have come under new management or stepped it up. Either way, I will definitely come back when my stomach is grumbling and my bank account is low.

This Subway is generally OK as far as the venue and the food, but I am very happy to have found another Subway(besides the one near my old home) that is open late night. I like that Midtown has post-clubbing food options that are not your standard late night greasy fast food offerings. Our sandwiches tasted fine(I love my Spicy Italian!) and the guy working was cracking jokes with us as we waited. Plus, completely random side note, there is a certain jolly I enjoy when I’m so tired from dancing and drinking all night that I eschew sitting at a table to eat, and instead throw my clothes off and eat a sammich in bed at 2:30am. True story. xD

I visit this place more than anywhere else in Midtown. It’s open until 3AM everyday, is within walking distance of my home, and is within walking distance of my work. I’ve always had a good experience here. Every employee is very friendly to me, especially now that they know my face. The only bad thing about this place is that the manager seems very disconnected and apathetic now. The first time I came in contact with him, he was very upbeat and friendly. Ever since then he seems to be very monotone and cold shouldered. Other than that, I absolutely love this location. Keep in mind, it’s a Subway, you don’t come here for gourmet meals. You come here for a delicious, large-sized sandwich for a quick bite for around $ 5. If that is what you are looking for, you will be happy with the employees here. Definitely a staple in my awful diet.

First time at this location. I ordered to go on the way to the Kings game. Customer service from the two gentlemen were great. Fast and neat sandwich. I love lots of veggies, especially spinach and he added enough without me having to request. I didn’t know they opened til 3, but now I know. Nice option in the future.

See photo here: Dear Subway, are you F**ng kidding me? I got your tuna sandwhich yesterday the guy put two little ice cream scoops of tuna: look at the photo of my sandwich and the tuna sandwich on your website! Shame on you Subway. Big shame both photos are 6inch subs. One from subway last night, the other some bs photo to make you think you’re getting something much better. What a waste of money. On top of that had to tell guy four times that I’m interested in a 6inch sub.

I fear I may be too able to please given all the negative reviews for this place and my apparent contentedness. For me, this was a standard Subway experience: I went in, they asked me what I wanted, I got what I wanted. I did appreciate that I saw first-hand that the employee was actually cleaning the place during business hours and not just at the end of the day. She seemed a little absent-minded(how much can you honestly expect from a minimum wage service employee?) but she was reasonably nice, made sure I got what I wanted and helped me quickly. She forgot to give me my drink cup, I asked before she started helping the next guest, and she politely smiled and apologized… it was sort of like a, «haha that was funny!» for both of us. Maybe I was just relating because I used to work in the Service industry(not food, retail, but similar customer interactions) so I don’t know. How high can expectations be for a Sandwich chain? Maybe I don’t go enough to sandwich places but this is a chain after all and not some hoighty toighty place, Come on, it is only $ 5 for a HUGE sandwich! I was not surprised by my experience, hence the 3 stars: not terrible, not amazing, just… there. Sort of a neutral I-knew-what-I-was-in-for-and-had-low-expectations-but-just-needed-a-quick-bite It is Subway after all, which is tantamount to fast food, so I got exactly what I expected for Five Dollars. Eat fresh?

BIG fan of your sandwiches, but a $ 5 footlong is no excuse for crappy service. The young gal serving me clearly had more interest in making eyes at the boy texting on his phone behind me than making my sandwich. This was proven when she messed up my order not once, not twice, but three times, without so much as an apology when I finally made it to the register.

I dont know if its the weather or what– but lately Ive just wanted to be outside and eat sandwiches… I live close by– and didnt really want to deal with Safeway or the 2 or 3 blocks more to Sandwich Spot(I was on a schedule, :/)So decide to come here for maybe the 4th time in 10 or so years. Its not too shabby. Its clean, its a chain– the folks hate their job, what’s new, right? I felt pretty overwhelmed with all the signs: different cheeses, calories, sauces and what size pants you maybe wanna wear in the future– very helpful, and making me into one of those annoying people who cant make up their mind… oh well, Im over it… Customer service is alright, though a fellow came in after me, and went to the register while the employee making my sandwich finished(akward for ME) and another employee in the back did what ever… not very cool to me OR the guy– but maybe he shoulda spoken up instead of huffing/puffing and ruining my facinaztion with sandwich building… also, like someone else mentioned– I guess they do skimp a bit on the produce. Food was great(I was hungry???) I always love a deal– a 5 dollar footlong can make a couple meals– I suggest the meatball with pickles and olives, but that’s just me.
