I’m always gratified when I get to visit a place where I’m overwhelmed by the number of delicious, appealing, interesting vegetarian options and this is such a place. The number of fun choices is dizzying. The three of us split a Veggie Benny and a Gary’s Gord omelette(with feta, of course), and it was all delicious — the Benedict in particular was absolutely stellar. The tomato pesto«sauce» that came with the omelette was great — they could serve that with a spoon and I’d be a happy gal. The portions were incredibly generous, and the two plates were more than enough for the three of us — there was food still left on the table. The bright, fun, funky atmosphere is great — plenty of goofy alien art, colorful mementos left by former patrons, and you’re actually encouraged to sign the walls with one of the many provided Sharpies before taking your leave. Service was prompt and our waiter was both funny and helpful. Down sides: parking was kind of a zoo on a Friday mid-morning, and I imagine it only gets worse from there since in a nice shopping center with some other interesting stores. The wait also probably gets pretty colorful in high-traffic times, although we didn’t have to wait at all.

Food was decent, and atmosphere was good. Not sure if it’s worth the hour+ wait on the weekends, but I would recommend checking it out at least once.

Funky fun ambiance, great service, creative and well prepared food, good for families. I have been by this little hole in the wall a hundred times and never thought to eat here until I discovered it on Unilocal.Thank you Unilocal for giving me another great brunch place. An extension of the Truckee restaurant this family owned place is such a treat. There is a great menu and the young man(part of the family) was so pleasant. I will be coming back for sure.

I definitely think my review needed an update. With their new reservation system the wait has been so much better. The food and service is great as always. The omelette and bacon Benny are the best!

I’m sad to say that I was disappointed by Squeeze In. We were excited for a fun breakfast place to pop up within walking distance to North Fair Oaks and have been watching for a while as they remodeled the space and prepped for opening. Today was finally the day that we made it in to try their wares. For a place that is supposed to be a «winner» in food network’s eyes, I felt like they used that distinction to inflate prices and and bring people in. If you’re going to say you’ll bring it to the brunch game, bring it. I had«The Queen Maggie» — Cream cheese stuffed french toast with strawberries and bananas and cinnamon sugar on top. It seemed to have three large pieces of bread cut in half, then halved again to allow for the stuffing. This was was way too much food — I get you want to give big enough portions to justify the price, but sheesh. 1) If you’re going to stuff french toast with cream cheese, you have to sweeten it. This was a slab of regular cream cheese between a piece of bread cute in half. It was cold, the bread was still blonde, and frankly, kinda of salty. 2) If you’re not going to sweeten the cream cheese, don’t skimp on the syrup. I got one tiny tin of syrup, and on account that they nickle and dime you for EVERYTHING on the menu, who knows if it would be an extra dollar on an already overpriced plate if I asked for more. 3) This dish would have been improved by cutting the portion in half and adding eggs or bacon. Maybe it’s intended for a «family style» format, but I’d rather pay a little less for a smaller portion and more options. My fiancé got«The Garth» which is supposed to be a triple decker breakfast sandwich with cheese, scrambled eggs, and your choice of meat(with a pro tip for 1.50 $ to add tomato and avocado — on an already 10.50 $ sandwich– are we in the airport?) 1) First of all it was more like a dried omelette with small pieces bacon on crispy bread, even though it should be a sandwich that boasts hearty strips of bacon on fluffy scrambled eggs and cheese. 2) It died in the window as we sat and watched it wait for several minutes before being delivered to our table. 3) It had lots of components but not much flavor, it would have been improved with more seasoning. While we like Marsh Manor, and think that Squeeze In could be a great addition(The staff was friendly and punctual when taking our order) we felt that the quality promised was not what was delivered. Perhaps we hit them on an off day. For the price and quality that we got today, I think we will stick with our other tried and true breakfast place. Also, If you’re going to have an option for Hibiscus Mimosa, how about putting hibiscus in it? It’s more of a cape codder with cranberry.

Good service. Very noisy. The holindaise sauce is +Not the real thing. Terrible Potatos very good. Not greasy. Although I would have rather had fruit (Found out after the fact I could have) the omelet was good Coffee was very mediocre. They offer 3 sauces The pesto was more like A maranera tomato sauce Had to wait a long time for the check. Too pricy. I won’t make coming here a habit.

Been here twice so far. Love that they have a vegan section on the menu! Portion sizes are HUGE. Ordered the chilaquiles the first time which was really fresh and crunchy. I did not think a vegan chilaquiles would be good tasting but it was loaded and it was awesome. The second time ordered the southern style spuds with a bunch of sautéed vegetables and that was really good as well. Servers are super friendly and very open to customizing your order.

Fun brunch carried by the unique alien hippie theme. 3.5 stars Food: 3 Atmosphere:4.5 Service: 4 Cost to worth it rating: 3(omelettes ~$ 13) Opentable-able: no, kid’s menu: yes Return worthiness: sure Highlights: — Big menu: colorful and pictures and fun names for items like Racy Tracy, Your Mom, Patti Cake, Buckin; Buster, etc. Lots of things to choose from – even non breakfast items if you’re feeling lunchy. — Décor: alien theme and nets and graffitied walls were a trip — Specialties: you can sub an item out like I didn’t do mushrooms and got avocado which was pretty much a full half of an avocado sliced on top. Yum — Service: very friendly, chill, and welcoming — Sauces: the tomato pesto great on the omelette – deep tomato flavor — Mimosas: use Odwalla OJ which I love and also have a cranberry version and a cran orange version. — Booze buddy discounts: if you order 2 of a sparkling or vodka drink at a time, it’s a bit cheaper. — Gluten free-friendly: have items marked and a corn tortilla option instead of toast — Easy parking: in a strip mall Midlights: — For«best omelettes on the planet» think I had high expectations. The fillings were yummy but the actual omelette part wrapped around the ingredients was just ok. 3 stars — Biscuits and gravy: the biscuit was soft and delicious but the gravy was thick and creamy and didn’t have much flavor. 3 stars Lowlights: — Bit of a wait even late cause it’s a popular place Enjoyed the vibe here so I’d come back to try other food items.

It’s pretty rare that I give five stars on my Unilocal reviews. Why did I give this place five stars? Here are some factors that contributed to this rating. –Has parking –Friendly service –Wide selection of(mostly brunch) foods –Prices are actually reasonable given what you get –Portion sizes are large –The environment is clean and laidback –But most importantly, the food actually tastes good enough that I would definitely consider coming back again! I came here with three others for brunch. We got seated very quickly(it was a weekday though). I got the breakfast plate of pancakes, bacon, and two eggs(scrambled). The pancakes are very large and fluffy. I ate about 1.5 pancakes. If you order pancakes by itself, you can get an order of 4 or 2. The default syrup is unfortunately not real maple syrup(you have to pay $ 2.49 for that) so I’m not sure what I was eating. It was really sweet. The bacon was delicious and you got a lot of pieces! The eggs were just okay(and a bit cold) but it’s fine. My companions also liked their food with the exception of potatoes(a bit dry). I did like the biscuits and gravy. There was a lot of flavor here. The eggs benedict were good too although there’s a LOT! The table we sat at had a lot of personal effects from what I assume is the restaurant owner. Things like pictures, watches, old drivers licenses, and wedding photos were on the table. Kind of neat to see a sneak peek in someone’s life I guess?

YAS Squeeze In YAS! After spending a week in very over priced Palo Alto, I was thrilled to dine at Squeeze In, in nearby Redwood City. The prices were right, the portions were huge, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was out of this world, and the tuna melt was stupendous! The atmosphere was cute, cozy and bright. I just really loved this place.

This is a really neat local breakfast place with tons of delicious options and awesome staff! I came in on a Wednesday morning and it was pretty filled up even at 8am! I was intrigued by other reviews and pictures, but I feel like the pictures don’t really do this place justice. First off, the music is great and fun, classic rock all the way. And the walls and tables are way cleaner than the photos make it out to be, probably bad lighting in the phone cameras. This place has a really awesome local feel to it. The waiters know the customers, people get their usuals, and it’s a relaxing environment. I got the twice baked scramble which was a little too salty, but it was still really good! And their fruit cups are filled with a fresh and delicious variety of fruits, it was probably my favorite part of the meal. However, I do this this place is a little overpriced. I paid over $ 20 for a coffee and my twice baked scramble after tax and tip. It’s in a small shopping center in Redwood City so it shouldn’t be this expensive. I think the Food Network title has gotten into their head a little bit. Overall, great atmosphere, really amazing staff, pretty good food and coffee, but a little overpriced.

Pretty large selection of breakfast and lunch items, including benedicts, omelettes, scramblers, pancakes, sandwiches, etc. They also have a vegan section which is impressive, with about four main entrees to choose from(better than most). I went with the Racy Tracy, as it was featured on the food network. There were really shining parts of this omelette, including the bacon and cheeses. I loved how much mushroom was included, but didn’t seem that the mushrooms were cooked much before being put in(weren’t sautéed). The eggs were also lacking in texture and taste. The servings are hella generous though. They also have a breakfast club you can join for free which gets you freebies like $ 5 cert to start off and champagne on your membership anniversary. Oh, and the mimosas were nice and strong. Get a pitcher for $ 24 =) It was definitely worth a try, and we would come back if in the area.

I had been wanting to visit Truckee’s famed Squeeze In ever since I heard they were opening a branch in Redwood City, but never got around to it until recently! Portion sizes are known to be large, so we went ahead with one savory entrée and one sweet entrée — and split both. For savory, we ordered The Spanish Flay(a tribute to Bobby Flay) that was one of the omelets featured on Throwdown! With Bobby Flay. It was served with two slices of your choice of toast and some amazingly delicious breakfast potatoes(just the right crispiness!). For the sweet, we opted for the Queen Maggie — french toast stuffed with cream cheese! This was also inspired by Food Network Chef David Adjey. The six large slices were quite the helping! Definitely a dish for sharing. I’d definitely return to this spot anytime. It’s not located in the downtown Redwood City area, but rather in a nice strip mall near the Marsh Rd residential side of the city. The wait was about 30-minutes on a Sunday, but definitely move swiftly. The coffee served while you wait was a huge plus!

Pretty spunky place. All of the franchises are in Nevada and Truckee, CA but there’s one in RWC go figure lol. The potatoes are big blocks and nice. I had the triple decker breakfast sandwich but I can’t recall the name. It is a signature special. Really good — eggs, turkey sausage, avocado and tomato. the French toast is preset good too but it could use a little more crisp to the outside. The portions are pretty large. I want to go back and I suggest you go for the first time. :)

YUM! I found this breakfast spot randomly when I was at the 24 hour fitness in Redwood City. This place was near by and I found out via Unilocal that Bobby Flay was here for Throwdown with Bobby Flay. The atmosphere is definitely interesting and unique with writing all over the walls and a lot of aliens everywhere. I sat down with my mom and we were greeted immediately. I got the DJ’s So Cal Lo Cal burrito and it was so good! It was healthy and delicious, a win-win(especially loved the sprouts). Everyone working was very friendly and the food was delicious. Note: There is a loyalty rewards program you can join, which offers free stuff on your bday, anniversary and a points system. I will definitely be back! Great vibes!

This is a great little place for breakfast/lunch tucked away in a little neighborhood shopping center, Marsh Manor. It’s a favorite breakfast place of mine. Food is delicious and I have not been disappointed with anything that I’ve ordered. Great food, great service. They offer a frequent diner card, so every time you eat there and swipe your card, you earn points and perks, good for discounts on future meals.

This place puts a unique spin on breakfast. Where else can you find dishes called the Dirty Dick and Your Mom? Their Zweifel is also an eyebrow raiser, with the peanut butter, banana and apple omelette combo. You might be hesitant to try this concoction, but you won’t be disappointed. If you become a member, you get points for dining in each time and they send you certificates that you can redeem the next time you eat in. They’ll also send you coupons for special events like holidays, your birthday, even your anniversary. The bf and I got to take home a whole bottle of champagne, which was a perfect way to end our anniversary breakfast.

PSA: Delayed review from last weekend’s outing! Me and the fam were out in the area TCBn. That means taking care of business yo. So yeah, we needed to eat, turned to Unilocal and was lead here. Not bad at all, parking wasn’t a problem, we were seated in about 20 minutes, which was expected, I mean it was Saturday morning and I know peps love going out to eat. Anywhoooo, to the food. The dad ordered french toast, the kid ordered pancakes and me the mom, opted for the bacon benny with avocado, sauteed mushroom in wine sauce and home potatoes, I had to stop myself from cleaning the plate and now that I think about it, I want those last two bites, not now, but right now!(drool) Ok, ok. so yeah the service was good, the food was good, the coffee was strong and me and the kid even wrote on the wall. 4 yums up, yeah i’d go back if in the area again.

We actually came here by mistake. We thought we were going to the Squeeze Inn that’s actually located in Tracy and is known for serving those crazy huge circle cheese burgers. However, this place was still cool. I tried the Cathy’s signature omelette and chocolate bacon. For an omelette containing bananas, cream cheese, and savory meats, it was good. I also added cheese to my potatoes, but I didn’t feel there was enough. The chocolate bacon didn’t sound like it would taste good, but it did! The whole thing was dipped in chocolate, not just one side like the picture in the menu. The decorations for this place were insane. A lot of DIY stuff and alien shapes. Our server was super nice and attentive. We’re not located near here, so we probably won’t be back. However it was a pleasant surprise for an accidental brunch!

Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Cleanliness: 5 On fleek. That’s all that comes to mind after my second trip here. They’ve got it together. Water and coffee never runs out at your table. Waitstaff nice, clean, timely. Breakfast food is off the charts. I forgot how much fun writing on the walls or ceiling can be… Until this morning after I tagged the ceiling above our table with a sharpie! It’s encouraged here. Love it! We came early like 8:30am on a Saturday and there was absolutely no wait with a few tables open. Cool. I brought my out of town guests to their last meal before their flight home. They loved it too. Would I return? Absolutely. Enjoy!
