My daughter’s birthday party needed some cupcakes and cookies. I was checking out another bakery, and was like… «3.50 per cupcake? They aren’t *that* good.» Well, I went to Eva Sweets, which is closer to my house anyway, and tried their cupcakes, and was like«I’ll pay whatever they charge. These are amazing.» and as it turns out, they were .75 cents cheaper than the first place! And so much better! I got an assortment of chocolate, red velvet, and angel food cupcakes and they were all delicious. I also got a bunch of pretzel chocolate chip cookies with the money I saved by going here, and everyone(including my daughter) raved about them. My daughter is picky, y’all. Another nice touch: the carrying boxes were very sturdy, and everything arrived in perfect shape. We’ll be back.

What made this bakery so amazing before was not only the food but the proprietors. I stopped by for the first time since it changed owners and although I was helped promptly and able to get an angel food cupcake, it was hardly a warm welcome from the lady working that day. Plus, there was very little selection to choose from, and the display cases were mostly bare with absolutely nothing in the fridge. It was just sad.

Went here today to bring some sweets to the office: Passionfruit and Red Velvet cupcakes and Chocolate Rugelach. Have to say all were delicious! And very fair pricing. I’m also REALLY happy to see this store carrying on the recipes for angel food cake from the prior establishment – all delicious stuff! Really happy to have a fine neighborhood bakery nearby. Wish them the best and will be back often.

brand new bakery at marsh manor serving up some middle eastern and european influenced pastries and cookies. i had the opportunity to attend their open house last week and meet the new owner, tal, who was very sweet and welcoming. they had samples of cookies, cakes, brownies, and more. everything looked beautiful and i loved seeing the variety of baked goods that they offer. with the upcoming holiday season approaching, they had decorated the display cases with seasonal decorations and ornaments. i went again the next day and picked up an assortment of goodies for a friend who was visiting the bay area. 6 individual cookies cost a little over $ 5, not bad for the quality of goods i was receiving. i inquired about macarons, but was told that they are most likely made on request, by custom order, but that i should continue to come back and check periodically. excited to see what else this newcomer has to offer!
