This place gives generous portions but was pretty expensive and the tikka masala was only okay. The naan tasted more like a grilled pancake than naan. But overall it was alright. Probably won’t go out of our way to go back. But it’s decent.

This is the best sub continental buffet I had in USA. So many meat items. Goat biriani was really good. Chili chicken, chicken sausage, fish pakora were specially good. Love this restaurant. I go there once in every week. If you are in redmond and looking for Indian food, this is a must try.

Good variety of food. I love that they have a buffet all day. Of course it will be more fresh during busy times but the option is great for busy working professionals. During Ramadan they have Ifthar buffets and there are huge lines. Their desserts are pretty good and the food is reasonably priced.

This is a nice Pakistani place with a buffet at dinner. The food is good quality and no frills. Don’t expect some fancy food but do expect good quality food just the way your Pakistani grandmother made it for you when you were growing up. They also give out bottled water so that’s a nice touch. I’ll be back!

My half-Pakastani buddy showed me this place in Overlake on a weekend when we were both particularly starving. Kabab Palace didn’t disappoint. I put away 3.5 plates of buffet goodness before I had to tap out. Overall I found this restaurant’s buffet vs other Pakistani and Indian restaurant buffets to be less greasy /oily and more full of spice. Hence the five stars. I had nehari(complete with onions, fresh ginger and lime), curry fish, apple salad, plus some of the more usual veggie and chicken curries. I’d recommend all of it.

One of the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The dinner buffet is super costly at 12.99 and service was horrible. Most of the food item was always over and had to ask them multiple times for naan and tandoori. They always used to get small quantities so that you dont eat them all. Food was mostly bland, boiled and was not even remotely Indian in taste. Tandoori was very dry and difficult to eat. I cant believe that a restaurant like this is still in service.

Looked OK on Unilocal so we went here. They kept pushing the buffet but we ordered entrees instead. At the time they tasted good but 2 hours later everyone in the family was getting severe indigestion and diarrhea. Went online and looked at their most recent King County Health Inspection reports and found out why. Look for yourself and be warned! (note, for those who don’t realize these are violations of these things, if you go to King County website you will understand, it’s worded sort of confusing but if you look at the«unsatisfactory» you’ll get that the points are for NOT having these things). Routine Inspection/Field Review 03/05/201545 Unsatisfactory 0600 — Adequate handwashing facilities(10 points) 3400 — Wiping cloths properly used, stored, proper sanitizer(5 points) 4100 — Warewashing facilities properly installed,…(5 points) 2900 — Adequate equipment for temperature control(5 points) 3100 — Proper labeling, signage(5 points) 4200 — Food-contact surfaces maintained, clean, sanitized(5 points) 4300 — Non-food contact surfaces maintained and clean(3 points) 3700 — In-use utensils properly stored(3 points) 4900 — Adequate ventilation; lighting; designated area…(2 points) 4800 — Physical facilities properly installed,…(2 points) The other complaints I had were: –a HUGETV in the dining area with awful glare and noise –small open dining area where you are crammed next to other customers, highly unpleasant –they didn’t serve you glasses of water, they gave you Kirkland bottles of water like you were at a picnic or something. Very strange and unnerving with implications about their water supply…

The best Indian cuisine in the area, mainly because they really control the spices level If you don’t worry about spices, you may like other places, otherwise don’t even think!

Stopped by here, ok, actually drove here from north Seattle to check out Mayuri which is the largest Indian grocery I’ve seen yet in the greater Seattle/Redmond area. We went to Kebab Palace on a Ramadan evening. They didn’t have any buffet prepared but they did happily serve us off the menu. Ordered up goat biryani and Achari Gosht(goat in a nice spicy masala sauce). Both dishes were really quite amazing. With Roti and masala chai this was an outstanding meal! I really appreciate that they didn’t ask us about spice level, they just served what they served and it was awesome. Had a chance to visit India recently and these dishes were the closest I’ve been able to get in replicating the food from across the planet.

Just the right amount of authentic flavor and spice, quiet but courteous wait staff and amazing chai tea, Kabab Palace isn’t kidding when it calls itself Indian Cuisine. Don’t go if you are too used to the Americanized Indian dining experience with spices that are too shy and demure to ever be more than the Taco Bell of Indian flavor. You don’t get to decide the spice level here. You order the food and the food is served for you. And it is worth the drive from Seattle to get it.

We ordered the chaat — channa samosa, aloo papdi and the paneer roll w/fries. Good food and value for money(esp during happy hours) but poor ambience. The food wasn’t so great that I’d particularly go looking for this place again.

My favorite place to come to lunch for all-you-can-eat Indian food! It costs less than $ 12 per person, and they offer chai tea as part of their buffet as well(which I know from experience that a lot of other Indian restaurants charge per cup and don’t include in their buffet). The food is freshly made, and the service is great. They offer a broad range of food as well, and they are on it with supplying the naan! It’s nice and clean inside, and it’s very family friendly. It’s a bit of a drive from where I am, but I definitely think it’s worth it.

Very disappointing food, Still buffet was priced at $ 12.99 taxes. It was a total rip off. Worst was uncooked rice in goat biriyani, which they tried to justify by saying that its just dry. We reached there around 9 which is close to their closing time, so I could have forgiven the fact that food was cold, if it tasted decent. Apart from this Chicken Tikka masala and Malai Kofta were too sweet. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Please don’t waste your money, time and appetite.

They have an almost all day long buffet served until 10 pm. The options are pretty varied and they have good options for both veggies and non veggies. They also serve beef at times. You can also order A La Carte. You must try their papdi chat when having the buffet. You have to make it so the papdi is never soggy. They have happy hour between 3 to 6 when prices are slashed by 30 percent or more for some chat items, biryani etc.

Summay: Good food but every thing else that comes with the place was totally appalling.(Buffet on Sunday). The positive: Really nice tandoori food and overall a good selection of food and taste. They kept the food fresh and warm in the buffet which is not normally easy to do. Overall I would have called it a nice value for money if not for the stuff they pulled after. They got the 2 stars only because of the food. The negatives: They are a really good scam artists and on top of that are rude when called on that. Their website says their weekend buffet price is 10.99 and when at checkout we pointed that out(we got charged 12.99 per person instead) the person(seemed to be the owner) said that it is a Friday only price. Their site mentions a mon-friday price and then a weekend price separately, which we showed on the phone, the person we spoke to was adamant that we were wrong. They seemed to be cleaning the tables after each person left(really nice job for a buffet service), the only problem was that after we sat down we realize that the cleaning was done with an old wet cloth and hence the tabled reeked after the cleaning. We used a sanitizing wipe of our daughter and cleaned the table ourselves(should have walked out but thats where we made the mistake).

My recently acquired addiction to Indian food has brought me here to Kabab Palace, where I had heard they have a lunch buffet. This restaurant is nestled in a little area with several other Indian restaurants and grocery stores, so I can see it as a good place to buy Indian food. But of course, I prefer to have someone else do the cooking for me, which is even better if it’s all-you-can-eat. Kabab Palace satisfies my desires, but not without a few flaws. First of all, they advertise that their lunch buffet opens up at 11:30, so I came in at that time. The guy working there said they weren’t ready yet, and that it would still be a few more minutes. That’s what preparation should have been for; I don’t know why they couldn’t have been ready right away. So I just sat in the store awkwardly staring at the TV until 11:45 when all of their buffet items were ready for use. That is not cool; they should come in to work fifteen minutes earlier if that’s what it takes for them to have their food be on time. Another oddity here is that they placed a sealed 500-mL plastic bottle of Nestle water on my table instead of filling up a glass as most restaurants do. This is probably the first time in my life that a restaurant has given me a water bottle for my water. Very strange, and while it does ensure that the water is clean, it feels a bit uncomfortable asking for a refill of water when you don’t have a glass to refill. And when you’re eating Indian food which is known for being spicy, it’s not unreasonable that you would quickly run out of water. Anyway, let me stop complaining about trivial things and start talking about the buffet. They are firstly very vegetarian-friendly, as they do have stuff like watermelon and salads at the beginning of the line that allow you to eat more lightly than you would with rice and curry. Not that there’s anything wrong with rice and curry, because they have a variety of these and do a great job with them. I tried to fill my plate with one of each, and there was just so much stuff that it nearly spilled over the edge of my plate. Even though I was basically stuffed after my second plate, I could not resist the temptation of grabbing some of their naan and chicken tikka masala. This stuff is pretty good, and it made me happy to be a customer here. By far the best thing they had was the fish pakora, which I would eat forever if I could. Definitely give that a try while you’re here. Unfortunately, they’re not perfect. There’s all the weirdness that I mentioned above, plus $ 14.22 is a bit much to ask for when it comes to an Indian lunch buffet for one person. If they lowered that price a bit, I might consider coming here more often.
