First visit was very nice. I admit we were not used to the northern Indian cuisin so we didn’t know what to get. Will make sure we are prepared for the next journey. Marinated Chicken curry was delicious!

Pathetic food on a sunday noon. Ordered Natikodi biryani(Chicken prepared one day before and rice with absolutely no taste), Shankara fish fry(Half cooked fish) and Mutton liver fry(Stinking-Not fresh). Ended my weekend on a depressing note. Not sure how this restaurant is sustaining with such a bad food quality. Never recommend this to anyone.

Worst service ever!!! Be careful while paying your bill or else you would end up paying the money for the items u have not ordered .I wouldn’t give them even a star!

Good spicy food! Parotta with chicken gravy is the best. It’s my second time here. The last time I had prawn curry, it was too spicy. I couldn’t take that heat. Service isn’t great though. Not enough waiters and not organized. Either too many people come and ask for your order or there is not enough tissues/spoons/plates offered. Today dined here again, non veg popular meals plate was awesome– super filling for a dinner. Also mixed fried noodles was too good! Just like the one we get in India. It’s authentic. This time we had good service.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to. Visited here after a year for my birthday thinking that the food might have improved. Hell no, the food was plain awful with lousy service. There was one guy taking orders for everyone and he was found missing most of the time. Hard inconsistent idlis, dosa with spoilt chutney, cold tough parottas(which I am pretty sure were frozen), the special vanjiram fish fry which wasn’t even actual vanjiram fish, no apology or explanation from the waiter. These were some of the highlights which made up for an uninteresting evening. Never coming back again.

After a poor experience long time ago and a 2 star Unilocal review, I took the courage to dine again. And behold, they dont fail in proving that nobody can beat their worst customer service. To top it the chutney served with the plain dosa was spoilt. When I told the waiter that it was spoilt, he was not even apologetic. He did not even take it back instead told that he will send someone. They took back the dosa. My next 2 orders of Idly comes with the same chutney. At this point I called him and told him that this is something not acceptable. Still not acknowledgement or apology. Friend got porotta and was pretty sure that it was frozen and not fresh. Biriryani is never consistent. They even added the dosa to the bill which we returned and an additional rosemilk in the bill. Had to again get the bill corrected. Dont think will ever go back here. Only thing good was the soup and the tin coke can.

Pathetic service. Some food is good but don’t go late in night. All items are mixed and some even spoiled. Not worth the money

Went to Anjappar with high expectations having tasted their mouth watering dishes back in Chennai. This one was a big let down. We were a group of 9 and first ordered Egg Biryani for the kids with a note of making it very less spicy. Biryani arrives and is super spicy courtesy 8 full chillies. Not edible and then on giving the feedback, the chef gives us an advice that next time we should order less spicy. Looks to be a communication gap between waiter and chef but who cares since there service is next to pathetic. Then the meals arrive. All items spicy except the sweet which is tasteless and yogurt of course. None of the items were tasty and rice looked uncooked. They even forgot papads for some plates. Big let down and won’t be surprised if they get warned again soon !

They keep changing the cook here a lot. So the food is not consistent always. The food was excellent the first time we were here, so we visit here expecting the same quality every time. Try their Gobi Manchuria and hope it will be good.

We had ordered a to go from here for dinner. After picking it up and going home, I realized all the items that were given to us were wrong. I had to go back in person and get it exchanged. I wasn’t offered an apology. We were made to wait for ten minutes without even giving an explanation. Exceptionally poor customer service.

Very poor experience today. Ordered Gobi 65 and Veg Fried Rice for pick-up, and got 200 ml oil free. Also Gobi 65 was under-cooked and my fingers, tongue turned yellow. Looks like they poured the entire content from pan, including oil but later realized they didn’t turn on the stove. Thank God, I have medical insurance :)

Wrost food I had. I asked the guy before ordering Chicken Biryani and he said it was like Hyderabadi Dum biryani it is wrost of all biryanis I had so far. And I ordered Navaratna Kurma which is not in menu and they said they can make it he charged almost 10 $ just for curry and it is damn waste he mixed all mangos pineapples and made it like desert instead of curry. I never suggest such place to any one.

Terrible service. I went here for lunch. We were offered complimentary soup after which were made to wait for over an hour. We weren’t told why there was a delay. Eventually after asking, they said it would take another 15 – 20 for us to get our food. We ended up leaving the restaurant without eating. Worst. Experience. Ever.

Pretty good South Indian fare. A little on the expensive side but the quality of the food quite authentic. Their service is a hit or miss based on the crowd. Overall a good experience

Horrible food, horrible service. I ordered their supposedly famous dish the mutton Varuval. The waiter just placed that one dish on the table — we were in a group!!! Guess what it was barely warm like microwaved for 30 secs. Rest of the food came 10’mins later. I asked for iced water that never came even after reminding them twice. The floors are really dirty and the place smells horrible. Vegetarians should absolutely avoid this place. I felt bad about taking my veggie friend there. I can go on and on but it’s not worth my time. By the way all you non-veggies, Chettinad food tastes much much better than the $&&@ they prepare in this restaurant.

Decent south indian restaurant. Average food overall, but some dishes are really amazing to try! Loved the manchurian dish. Idli, dosa and uttapam were average. Non vegetarian dishes are better than the veg ones.

Cockroach — I found a cockroach in my drink. I have ordered Falooda/Faluda shake. It has cockroach underneath the curved glass. Even after showing them, they acted pretty rude. I took a video of the cockroach moving under the glass. My second time experience — There was too much salt in both the curries. Its not just for me, all of us. He replied, «None of the customers complained, How come you have it?» I stopped going to this restaurant after these two experiences.

They started out really good. Couple of months back we a group of 4, came before 7, and were ordering a gravy along with rotis. We were informed that, tandoor is not available and we can only order parrota(8 $) or chapaati(4 $) both of which come with a gravy. Now just for breads why would I want to pay such a huge price. We talked to the managers but they were least bothered. They rather had us walk out than giving us the rotis at regular price. After couple of months, we decided to walk back in this time at 8:30. To our astonishment, the waiter told us that we have closed the roti section and you have only to choose, between the 4&8 dollar with gravy option. Alas the waiter also says that they have told the managers several times. Probably last visit here. If customers are not important, what good is an outlet.
