Very cool little store. Every time I visit PS I stop to see what else they have. The carry art, cards, photography and adult items. David is so creative and a pretty good photographer too.

They refuse to give you a receipt for your purchase unless you give them your e-mail address. What a racket! No, I don’t want to join your forever-and-a-day mailing list — I just want a receipt for my purchase. Slimeballs.

More from this so sensitive shop owner who seems to think that it’s ok to engage in negative replies with customers… SADLYTHOUGHSEEMS I’M NOTTHEONLY«bad, rude, vulgar customer who didn’t have the best experience». Just look at your reviews(minus the positive ones which are obviously from your few acquaintances who also lives in PS). I have snapshots of the conversation that Unilocal took down «I’m so sorry that you feel the need to flaunt your wealth(if it does exist), usually people do that because they are lonely, insecure and wish to impress someone. By the way, the sticker you mentioned has never existed in our store, it is a coffee mug. Our stickers are in a 24×36 plastic coated frame that has a bad flashback for pics, sadly you would not be able to take a pic if you wanted to. I will be happy to continue exchanging discourse with you even if you wish to insult and harangue. If you truly wish to continue trying to make us feel „less than“ and your self superior… Please feel free to post what you wish(who is calling who judge mental? You were a bad, rude, vulgar customer who didn’t have the best experience and wants to appear like the wronged person. Sadly, you give shoppers a bad rep. We love what we do and are pleased to have customers express happiness at the treasures they find in our store. Every so often there is a customer who is never going to be happy and is looking to push the right buttons to make themselves appear the wronged one. We have apologized for any misconceptions you may have had and offered to give you the coffee mug just to make you happy but apparently you feel the need to appear superior. When you are ready to step off the cloud and be real, please drop by.»

The guy running the shop is a micro managing control freak weirdo. Just shut up and if someone wants to buy, cash them out. If you want to be helpful, fine, wait to be asked a question first. Most people want to be left alone to browse. Especially in a small shop. I don’t like to be bothered when looking at porn. My friend was just looking at a book that she had ZERO interest in buying to begin with when he barked at her. He makes lame comments EVERYTIME we go in there. Frankly, I don’t need a dildo with wifi. My friend was looking at a 1970’s naked woman bush book and the old man bitch advised her not to turn the pages so harshly because it was his last copy he had but then retorted with«well I can package it up for you»

Mischief is such a great store. They have a little bit of everything. Their prices on adult products are the best around. It’s a fun atmosphere, and lots of new art as well as products are always coming into the store. Pop in and have a look around.

What a horrible owner and shop keeper. We have visited for years. If you go in to browse and don’t buy anything, if you say thank you and walk toward the register to exit he makes some type of ride comment like this time. «I walked all the way back there for nothing? I saw you looking at(censored) &@!» «Thanks you really made my day» rudely. We have had the same experience many years apart. For fun try going in. Just look and he will obnoxiously follow you around trying to sell you stuff. Then say thank you and head out and listen to his rude comments! We are making it a visiting ritual and bring in friends to do the same. You can count on rudeness like clockwork. Unbelievable! Go to greetings or gay mart to really buy, this one just for a laugh.

My partner and I usually stop by to check out Charles’ unique assortment of gifts and adult toys. We were there recently and purchased a nice Murano glass art piece and paid what we thought was reasonable. Unfortunately, we were shopping in Palm Desert the next day and discovered most of the stores inventory of glass items, the exact same items in fact, at Home Goods for half the price! Shame on you Charles for taking advantage of us!

Mischeif if my number 1 store for my play supplies. Charles and his partner do everything to keep merchandise in stock and are knowledgeable about the products they sell… most reasonably priced store in PS. They don’t charge outrageous prices like all the stores on Arenas! Great place to shop. They have my business.

I have to stop by every time I am in Palm Springs. They have all kinds of weird, crazy things and a great selection of cards too.

Mischief is a small LGBT-themed gift shop with a super-friendly owner. The back room is largely items of a sexual nature. The remainder of the shop is filled with cards, art, jewelry, small gifts, etc. It’s eclectic and there’s lots of stuff to look at. The walls were decorated with some amazing photography and I picked up some information about the photographer that I promptly misplaced. The owner was very friendly and chatty, showing us products and sharing stories. Perhaps not everyone would want lots of conversation as they purchased a butt plug or pornographic DVDs, but the owner clearly demonstrates his appreciation of your business in his store. My favorite items were the jewelry — there were tons of lovely imported pendants, each with a specific name and story associated with it. And I bought a neat spiral steel ring, the likes of which I haven’t seen elsewhere. Shiny!
