worst service ever bartenders are too busy playing skits and chatting with friends that it took 15 minutes to get a drink been a customer for years so not unfamiliar with their ways but new bartenders there are terrible at service slow and extremely rude

Having a good time tonight with friends. Good music, drinks and Justin behind the bar. What more could you ask for?!

2 Veronica F., I was the gentleman who spoke those words to you last night. I am a customer. It was not the bartender. You came in two minutes until the bar closed and wanted a drink which the bartender refused and you were very rude to him. Seems you were too intoxicated to realize who is speaking to you.

Came here a couple of months ago when I was visiting and I LOVEDDDDD it! I come to Palm Springs about once a month for the past year or so and I’ve NEVER been here. Showtune night was a wonderful surprise! Back in town and headed there tonight!

Lies, lies, lies… I have been a gay charity fundraiser for over 35 years and I on several boards of non-profits! I am not a homophobe… this establishment don’t care fir constriction criticism and would rather lie and let their staff cheat customers or treat them badly. being banned from SpurLine is like being banned from a stall at the rest area. I also live in Palm Springs so if you are going to try and dish, put down the party favors and get your facts straight! Roflmao

What a fun place! The drinks are great. We love the videos and the staff is all very nice. This is my third time here this week and we leave tomorrow… So sad, but will have something to look forward to on our next trip here.

This place is awesome! We stopped in last weekend with the intention of having a drink or two and continuing our barhopping down Arenas. It was 9PM and the joint was already jumping. They were playing a mix of show tunes videos, some of them older, some newer. It was a hoot! Some people sing along and the bartenders play along to the selections. I can’t sing worth a darn, but it didn’t matter. It was great fun and there’s no judging. The drinks are solid and the prices are reasonable. The bartenders are social and smiling while cranking out the beverages as fast as they can. Noteworthy are the Cherry Bomb slushy drinks, which(as I found out) are stronger than they look. Needless to say, we didn’t make it any further on our pub crawl and we’ll be back. Seriously, check this place out if you’re in PS.

I cannot say enough about how much fun I had here. I knew all the songs — as did most the others in the bar. When I couldn’t think of a name of a movie. Someone would yell it out. By far the best place I went to all weekend. The drinks were good and a Fair price. I will be back

Not sure WHY the name SpurLine… felt like we were on the MAIN line with a huge roaring crowd! We have heard about the show tunes for a very very long time and it never appealed to us, BUT so glad we went last night!!! SO much fun, but so many people like we have never seen on Arenas Road before… ever! Take a break and join the crowd for some great show tunes… makes NO difference whether you can sing because NOONE will hear you! LOVEDIT!!!

This is often my home-away-from-home. It’s everything a nightclub should be, with a great staff that keeps everything moving along. It’s popular and energetic… always a great time !

Whenever I am in Palm Springs this is the place my friends & I go to have a good time. Staff has always been genuinely friendly, and even remembered me from previous visits. Might sound a bit nutty, but I judge a bar by how it smells, and this place is definitely clean, even the bathrooms. Drinks are always made well, and they aren’t shy with the pour, if you know what I mean. Karaōke & Show tune nights are my favorite, or just coming for an afternoon drink to escape the heat when I’m visiting friends in PS. Can’t beat the location, and I usually can park in the lot right next to the patio. Keep up the good work, and can’t wait to come back!

A show tune sing-along video bar. If this sounds like heaven to you then, by God, you are correct. If you are not sure, give it a try. Stiff drinks friendly scene lots of laughs. Visited on Saturday, which was rowdy and crowded and fun. Also on Monday, which was still spirited even if a much smaller bunch. Can’t wait to come again.

A fun place that preserves our wonderful gay culture through a constantly evolving series of performances from films, plays, and television. The mixed age(and gender) crowd and boisterous atmosphere invites conversation and sharing with the guests you’re accidentally bumping into as you watch a classic performance from the Tony Awards or a recent clip from Glee. This is not necessarily a place to see and be seen, pick up a date, or try to be fabulous — instead you can be yourself, enjoy the videos, and meet some new friends. Bartenders have always been joyful and happy to serve the perpetual crowds that fill the place in the evenings from about 8– 11

One of the best gay bars I’ve ever been to – loved the show tunes, the drinks, the bartenders, and the surprisingly crowd! We headed over here for a bachelorette party, and us being a group of 6 young Asian, straight ladies, we stuck out like a sore thumb. Still, we had so much fun while singing along to show tunes and the bartender treated the bride-to-be with an enormous chocolate shot on the house. It’s a bit small and the crowd is older, but that didn’t stop us from being overly obnoxious, silly, and having an amazing time.

A group of girls in Palm Springs for a fun weekend and where is one of our first stops? SpurLIne! Saturday nights it’s all about the show tunes, baby! Gay men and showtunes go together like peanut butter and chocolate! Nice laid back bar, but when you walk in they have tvs everywhere and on those tvs? A nonstop showing of musical numbers from Broadway, tv movies, musical movies, you name it. Some of the highlights: Oklahoma, Victor/Victoria, Wicked, Hairspray, LIttle Shop of Horrors, Dirty Dancing. YOu name it, they showed a singing scene to which everyone sang along with GUSTO! My favorite? The montage made from Mommy Dearest! I“ve not laughed that hard in a long time. The drinks? The drinks are LARGE. Huge. And cheap. So much fun!

Gay bar + musical sing-a-longs + stiff drinks = a rather interesting evening. While I can’t say it’s my favorite combo, it’s definitely a unique one to see in the flesh. Since the musical mashup videos take center stage, all eyes are fixated on the screens, so there’s a lack of energy you’d expect from such a Birdcage charade, and even when everyone’s singing and hand gesturing like Italian drag queens, there’s no «we’re all in this together» group vibe to boost the mood. Also, vanilla vodka and pineapple juice should never touch ones lips at the same time.

After briefly checking out the neighborhood bar options, we ended up at SpurLine for a good deal of our evening. I’m so grateful that fate brought us to this little diamond in the rough because it brought me so much joy. What’s not to love? * Cocktails that pack a punch and are heavily poured … yes! * Courteous and friendly bartenders… Yes! * Show tunes on large, flat screen display… YES! * Spacious and relatively clean… Y E S! It’s really hard for me to imagine anyone not enjoying themselves at SpurLine. I did have one rather embarrassing moment when I began to clap profusely after watching Sarah Brightman on the video screen sing«The Phantom of the Opera,» one of my all-time musical favorites. It wouldn’t have been embarrassing had I not been the only one cheering and clapping after her performance, but, luckily, no one seemed to care. That’s what happens when you have too many well-made Manhattans. SpurLine was a great time that I can’t wait to experience again.
