Had a wonderful experience here not only with the food but the service was wonderful. I left feeling full and happy. My friend and I had been well taken care of by both the server and the junior server. Eyvette and Natacia, two wonderful gals. We stopped in after our plantation tour and wanted to have a nice New Orleans meal in one of the oldest restaraunts, from the turtle soup to freshly made Caesar dressing on my salad to the shrimp and grits plus the added bonus of watching Eyvette make our bananas foster in front of our table. Everything was perfect. I would come back again and try their other entrees and desserts. Thank you Court of Two Sisters you gave us another wonderful memory and a full tummy.

My family love this place! We came here for Friday brunch buffet, the selection was great, from plain white rice to jambalaya, from white bread to corn bread. There’s also turtle soup, sausages, shrimps and crawfish. Everything I tried was up to my expectation. There’s a salad bar that’s filled with cheese, vegetables, fruit, cold salad, tuna, salmon, egg, and chicken salad. I really like the salmon salad! The dessert selection is probably my favorite :-p, they have Oreo cakes, lemon cakes, brownies, apple cobbler, King cakes, banana foster, and bread pudding. Yum. I will definitely come back for their brunch buffet. It’s only $ 30 per person! Drink is not included but the price is super reasonable. I love it :)

Court of Two Sisters is one of my all-time favorite New Orleans haunts. The food is good but not spectacular, but the whole boozy jazz brunch experience is simply fabulous. This past trip marked my fifth brunch at the Court of Two Sisters. This officially makes me a professional Court bruncher in my humble opinion. Per usual, my friends and I had a courtyard patio reservation for 10:00. I’m a firm believer in coming early and staying a long time. This is probably the best patio I’ve ever encountered. It’s thankfully canopied by trees and the live jazz is the perfect touch to the atmosphere. We were seated and greeted and the fun began. Yes it’s a buffet, but all of the servers here are amazing. Every last one of them is so fun and friendly. They kept the mimosas flowing throughout the course of the whole three hour brunch. The buffet as a whole is somewhat disappointing, but I have at this point learned how to properly navigate it and get my money’s worth. Crawfish, crawfish, and more crawfish. Get a big ol’ plate of these critters and suck their heads off. While you’re at it, get a plate of the shrimp as well because YOLO and it’s a buffet damn it. The turtle soup with sherry is delicious. I can give or take all of the breakfast items on the menu. They’re all fine but nothing to rave about. I’ve never been patient enough to try to omelet line, but they look great. Grab a slice of king cake for dessert because you’re in New Orleans after all. Eat, drink, and be merry. The Court of Two Sisters is an above average buffet with a simply stellar patio atmosphere. It’s without a doubt on my list of must do spots in New Orleans.

As you walk down Bourbon St., the sewer stench reminds you of the previous night’s debauchery and reckless memories of your darker self… whatever that might be. So when you enter this place, what a surprise. Pass down a small corridor and into a small indoor area that leads to a very large outdoor courtyard in the center of the space. The focal point is an 100+ year old tree that spans its branches and leaves to act as a natural umbrella for most of the area. What a sight. What a breathe of fresh air. The food was amazing. The filet was perfectly seasoned and soft as butter. The potato provides nice smooth and chunky texture. Also tried the shrimp and grits. Meh. I get the jumbo shrimp and spicy sausage combo but the grits were watery and overcooked. The other spot is much tastier and their sauce had more flavor. Why this place deserves a five star is their Bloody Mary. For those enthusiast in this spirit should absolutely try this place. Homemade. Balanced spicy and tart. Lastly, the Fosters banana dessert is worth getting. A live fire presentation! See photo. Don’t forget to bring your wallet for this place. You’ll need it! Now back to Bourbon.

For everything that I’d heard about this place, I expected a lot more. First the food: there was absolutely NOTHING memorable about anything that we ate that night. We ordered the Table D’Hote Dinner. Our server was very attentive and was able to help the 2 people at our table with dietary restrictions(gluten-free and dairy-free). The Blackened Alligator appetizer was the best part. The table-side Caesar salad was nothing spectacular. The Shrimp & Grits was tasteless and bland. Bananas Foster flambeed table-side was fun to watch, tasted OK. The chocolate mousse was good. Second the service/ambiance: Our group of 6 was seated outside, which was just beautiful, however, a little warm due to the rain the day before. They had fans going, but where we sat the fan didn’t oscillate. After about 20 minute, they got someone to move the fan so that it would give us some air. However, when it came time for the checks(which we had discussed the moment we sat down), it took them over 45 minutes to get them correct. During which time no one from management came to talk with us, apologize or offer anything to us while we were the last people sitting outside while the clean-up crew was working all around us. It wasn’t until after the checks were finally figured out that a manager stopped us while we were walking out to ask what the problem was. At this point we were all just tired and annoyed and wanted to leave.

This place is a jewel of the French Quarter. Its obscure, almost hidden entrance belies its grandeur. The maze of an entrance off Bourbon Street leads to an inner sanctum underneath hundred years old wisteria, a subdued jazz quartet heard gently over the restaurant, which spans an entire block, unseen from the exterior. It’s old school French Quarter New Orleans, a splendid brunch experience worth every penny, unspoiled except for the younger generation, rude and texting constantly, with old school waiters, chef on duty omelette presentation and a buffet fit for gods and goddesses. This is where one goes to cool down from the madness of the Quarter, where one can eat and breathe well amidst the insanity and recuperate from whatever last night brought on. The dress is casual but shouldn’t be, the ambience soigné, and I’m going to hold dear my time there. Do go.

We came for the jazz brunch while we were visiting New Orleans on vacation. Eating cajun food while listening to jazz in a French decorated patio in very humid and hot weather is an experience I can’t imagine I’d easily find outside of New Orleans. Service was good. Our server addressed us as sweetheart and boss/boss man which I thought was really charming. It was really hot and really humid which made it a bit uncomfortable, but obviously nobody can control the weather. The electric fans also weren’t working, but the servers were handing out paper fans which helped a lot. The buffet food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the fresh shrimp and crawfish. The creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, duck with orange sauce, and catfish roulade were also tasty.

This is the place to go for brunch! Advisable to book, especially if you want to sit in the courtyard, this place is very popular with large groups! The all you can eat buffet will defeat you, but we tried our best! You can literally eat anything you want! So much fish, fruit, meats, cakes and pancakes! Also a waiter who brought unlimited coffee! A jazz band also plays in the courtyard which gives off a great vibe to the place. A good way to start the day!

Food was typical New Orleans style traditional. The outside seating area is gorgeous — lovely running water wells add to the ambience. Food was nice, service was gently paced which suited our group of 6. We all had mixed appetisers of turtle soup, BBQ shrimp(which isn’t really bbq’d) and mains of swordfish, shrimp and grits, catfish. Dessert was a table side flambéed Bananas Foster, which was very nice also.

Went for jazz brunch and disappointed we had to sit inside as the courtyard is lovely. So make a reservation for the courtyard. Now for the food: Grits — yummy! Loved it Gumbo– a standout! Put some over the grits. Jambalaya– nice and spicy Spinach — decent Sweet potato with pecans — yummy! Veal– dry and overcooked Broccoli– steamed– not tasty and overcooked Cornbread — very dry Crawfish — cold– a lot of work for early in the morning Shrimp — chilled — small and need sauce Ribs — must try! Soooo good! Turtle soup — good

Wir waren an einem gewöhnlichen Mittwoch zum Brunch im «The Court of Two Sisters».

We sat inside because it was too sunny and oh, the humidity. That’s too bad because the jazz band was playing outside in the court and we couldn’t hear anything. We had a large group of 30 and enjoyed the attentive service. However, food was mediocre. We wanted to try good cajun/creole food and it didnt hit the spot. The only brunch item that was memorable was the duck. It was different and moist. Men cannot wear tank tops, my nephew learned that the hard way and ran to a nearby store to buy a t-shirt. Restaurant is in a great area in the French Quarter. I just wish food was better, maybe adding crab legs would be great, but dont increase the price. It was already close to $ 40/per person and that doesnt include mimosas.

Very good food! Try the Trout Almondine! Amazing! Cesar salad is made by scratch, right in front of you. The Crème Brulee is the best! Service was excellent. Price $$. Only reason for 4 stars. It smells funky at entrance. Not sure if it was from the street or was in Restaurant.

I usually hesitate in giving restaurants in the French Quarter, especially with access to Bourbon Street 5 stars. But given the situation last night, they deserve all five stars, and I wish that I weren’t so angry last night that I could remember the waitresses name today. The young lady with the closely cropped hair bleached white, you rock. You dealt with our difficult table like a rock star and you deserve so much better, especially when you mentioned you have your own young child at home. Really. You worked your tail off. I should have known better than to agree to come with«friends» from out of town when I witnessed their misbehavior and their sons misbehavior all afternoon to go with them to the quarter, but that is a mistake I will never be part of again. My friends mother insisted we must eat in the Quarter, overlooking Bourbon, when she is obese and can barely walk a city block. And she wanted escargot. She had never tried it. She also wanted steak. We had my friends four year old son with us. Being the weekend before St Patrick’s Day, I knew Bourbon would be a sight to behold. I was mortified. The first place was a bust, and I was unaware of what to do, Unilocal search did its best, but I found nothing. We stumble across the Court. The menu met the expectations. Relief. Though there is no view of Bourbon, nor is there balcony seating. The waitress, who kept her smile on the entire time, while the four year old ran around torturing other customers, and the mother berated everyone, was a champ. Dear waitress, you were the highlight. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, the courtyard was the perfect dining spot, and the chicken Oscar was a delight. The pre fixe menu looked wonderful, and the items on that menu can not be purchased separately in most instances. Please do not try to persuade the wait staff otherwise. The menu is full of options and it all sounded wonderful. I loved how they made the bananas foster in front of us, and the sister listened when the waitress asked her to contain the son while it was being made. Everyone but the mother and the boy enjoyed the meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, friends(with some exception) and family alike. Please remember that this is a classy place, be well behaved and treat others with kindness. The service was really on point and everyone was awesome. To those seated near us on March 13, 2016, I truly apologize for the poor show you saw in us.

We really really wanted to go to the Court of Two Sisters for the Jazz Brunch. And we could have, if we were willing to take a 2 p.m. reservation.(whomp-whomp) So we did the next best thing — we went for dinner. Sure, there’s not a jazz band and it’s not a buffet. But it WAS delicious. We opted for the Table D’Hote dinner($ 46 pp). Everything was delicious — I had turtle soup as a starter, the husband had the seafood creole gumbo. We both enjoyed the Court of Two Sisters salad, although it was a little heavy on the dressing. You might want to ask for a light amount or for it to be served on the side. For the entrée, I had the amazing shrimp and grits. Talk about a DELICIOUS roux. It was the winner winner dinner. As for the husband, he had the catfish — not at all fishy tasting, but the Napa slaw was served cold and on a cold night it wasn’t his preference even though it tasted good. We ordered the crème brûlée and the bread pudding for dessert. Yum — but the TRUEYUM was the crème brûlée. Very egg-y and rich tasting, not crème-puddinging. Just the way we like it. Service is at a moderate pace — don’t come in a rush to eat. And you won’t mind because eating slow is good for your digestion and you have more time to enjoy the ambiance. Also be aware that in colder weather, it can feel quite chilly inside the restaurant so wear layers to stay warm while you enjoy your meal.

This is a no-brainer for an out of the ordinary brunch in NOLA. Don’t go somewhere average to eat pancakes or an omelette when you can go here instead. You can sit outside in their large and beautiful courtyard, listen to amazing live jazz music and help yourself to a buffet of various authentic and delicious brunch options. I ignored the standard brunch fare for items that are done right in New Orleans. The jambalaya, red beans and rice, grits and peal and eat shrimp were incredible. I could have probably eaten three platefuls if I hadn’t wanted to spend my day in a carb induced coma. I’ve seriously never tried grits that were as rich and buttery in my life. Most of the seating is outside in the courtyard, and the ambiance is bright and cheery. I came in for a friends bachelorette party and it was a great pick to celebrate the festive occasion. The jazz band even came over and sang a special song for our guest of honor! We also had great service, and our waiter Bryan was super friendly and helpful. He was there with a champagne refill every time our bellini glass was low– doesn’t get much better than that. Going on vacation is all about trying places that you can’t find at home. Court of Two Sisters is definitely where you want to go to do that in NOLA.

The brunch is about 4 things 1 –The free mimosas 2 — The great service — service was really really good 3 — The jazz music 4 — The garden patio It’s NOT about the food. It’s a very TOURISTY place with a buffet. If you’re looking for an amazing NOLA brunch experience keep walking. If you came with a tour bus/group then you may like it just fine. It was a big disappointment for us.

Great experience. I was looking for a jazz buffet brunch on Sunday and came across this place! The band is niccceee and takes requests as well as plays happy birthday to different individuals. Service is quick and the whole staff was friendly and didn’t have any problem with answering questions about the different foods. We didn’t even have to wait to be seated without having reservations! The buffet had different items, some better than others. My favorite and most memorable were the shrimp, grits(I made like 3 plates of shrimp and grits lol), the carved ribeye was seasoned very well and tender, the biscuits were delicious(fluffy and sweet), the cornbread and red beans&rice were really good too! It was my first time having whole crawfish, which I finally got to enjoy after our waitress gave me a couple of demonstrations lol. The fruit was fresh and sweet. I was disappointed in the omelet station; I feel as though they need a lot more items to choose from. I also wish they had more breakfast items because everything was basically lunch. I was definitely not a fan of the chicken and sausage gumbo :(. But all in all, it’s definitely worth the $ 30!

Bought some to-go drinks here. Definitely ask the bartender what he would recommend. My French 75 was delicious whereas my sister’s hurricane was glorified kool-aid. If nothing else, it is worth walking through to their courtyard. They have a giant wisteria tree and a cute fountain. The courtyard is public so you don’t have to buy anything to come back and see it.

Came for the Creole A La Carte menu during my most recent visit to New Orleans. Fell in love with the building’s interior courtyard where we were seated. The twinkle lights throughout the trees were beautiful, and even though it was a very warm and humid summer night, thanks to the outdoor fans, the heat was completely tolerable. Even though this restaurant is close in proximity to Bourbon street, you could barely hear the noise. I was able to enjoy my nice dinner without much bother. Dinner started with the shrimp en brochette and the barbecue shrimp. Both were phenomenal. I fell in love with the New Orleans classic of barbecue shrimp(it’s not your typical barbecue style). The peppery sauce was other-worldly and I soaked up every last bit of it with the bred on the shrimp en brochette. I had the Louisiana Catfish as my entrée and it was tasty, as well. Definitely will come back here next time I’m in New Orleans!
