Crawfish was amazing! Large oysters that also were amazing! Service was great. Adam was always there when we needed anything. The drinks are tasty. Julio was on top of it keeping thing running smooth. The chefs were great. I would suggest the grilled oysters and fresh bread too. Great place to start your party night.

The place was fun, the staff was exceptional. The crawfish… so.so. An order of crawfish is 14.00 for a pound and a half, not bad especially with the 10% off coupon. We went with the tray of crawfish. Consisted of 2 half ears of old corn, 2 potatoes and 2 small pieces of sausage for an extra 8 dollars. Don’t bother. The crawfish were very spicy and we had quite a few mealy ones.(dead before cooking).

Welp I do not even write reviews, but I felt like I had to for this one, I love Channing and I am a big movie person, have gone to other celebrity owned restaurants and I have to say I was expecting more. STAYAWAY, unless you are shit faced and want more booze or don’t care for the food. We sat down on a Friday night, I have to say 5−6pm before our ghost tour. We sat at the bar and what caught my eye was the décor, it was pretty empty I must say. The bartender recommended one of the top speciality cocktails, which was delicious, then we decided in the cheese Kurtz and the red velvet cake, while doing so A COCKROACH climbed around my arm and around my drink on the bar counter, I instantly got freaked and bugged out. The bartenders were right in front of me and I’m not sure how they didn’t see it or maybe chose to ignore it. The service was horrible we sat pretty much quiet, bartenders didn’t talk or were social. When the food came out we gave it another try. Then I’m not sure if it was the same COCKROACH but it came around our plate again, and I was instantly disgusted. BADSERVICEANDCOCKROACHES! not to mention the red velvet cake was frozen and pure sugar. I wish I could say anything else bc I hate the fact that this happened. So disappointed ! Never again.

Ordered shrimp tacos, tortillas were cold and overall the flavor was not so great… the gumbo was very flavorful… too flavorful; the people who ordered it didn’t like it. The crawfish was good at best. The corn and sausage not so much — too dry. Shrimp poboy was not great — the shrimp were tiny popcorn shrimp and not devained. Wouldn’t return.

We came here after I observed the boiled crawfish sign on the street. I split this dish with friends and also had some gumbo. The gumbo was spicy and very good. The crawfish was decent but average. The thing I didn’t like was that they started clearing out our floor for when it becomes a bar. Definitely made us feel like we needed to wrap up soon. I don’t know that I would return over other places in NO.

The wife and I stopped in here for a mid-afternoon snack and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the crawfish and a half dozen of the grilled oysters. The wife had never had crawfish before and the server did a great job of showing her the eating process and answering all her questions. As for the crawfish, they had a great spice to them so beware if you can’t handle things like that. We cannot recommend the oysters enough as they were great. We could have eaten two dozen of them easily.

The only difference between Saints and Sinners is that every saint has a past, while every sinner has a future. My past was at Saints and Sinners, and in my future I will not be returning to Saints and Sinners. After we waited about 20 minutes for a table, I thought we entered a moonlight forbidden strip. Red(and a lot of it) was everywhere. Very red. Sex sell? Possibly. — The Shrimp Tacos, trust me, was not worth any second of my wait. — Our server was over friendly! He came over our table every five minutes and asked if everything was ok. And when it was time to get our check, he disappeared for 15 – 20 minutes before we called him. — He failed to refill our water glasses. — If you’re claustrophobic, try not to go to the bathroom– unless if you really need to. Of course a place called Saints and Sinners in the French Quarter of New Orleans is a… Packers… bar… ? We walked in after trying to find somewhere — anywhere, really — to get a reasonable lunch that would offer me and my(vegetarian) buddy lunch. Was surprised to find the place PACKED with Packers fans. Good for them I guess. We were put upstairs since we’re not fans, I guess, which makes sense — the yelling would probably get annoying. But there was only a single bartender/waiter upstairs, and he seemed to have a tough time keeping up/not checking his phone. I got the shrimp po’ boy, which was pretty good. It wasn’t the best po’ boy I’ve ever had. My friend ordered the vegetarian mac and cheese. Sadly, they brought him the mac n cheese with pork in it and then the waiter was all, «Didn’t you order the one with meat?» My buddy’s been a vegetarian for his entire life so probably not? I ordered some fancy red cocktail that bled red all over the place, too. Always a nice option when your drink just covers your hand in red food coloring. The food was alright. The service was pretty shit. But they did eventually put the Giants game on for me, which was nice. Except that the Giants suck at football. But not really their fault.

I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints. I probably would have rather just skipped saints and sinners altogether. If Channing Tatum was there during my visit, this would be a totally different review. So my group walked by earlier in the day and got intrigued by the crawfish boil. Unfortunately, a few hours later when we looked into reservations they were booked. We decided to walk by anyways to check last minute availability and got in when another larger party bailed. The décor was nice and I obviously had some fun with the Channing cutout. As far as food goes, I went with the Crawfish Mac & Cheese which was their grown-up mac & cheese with crawfish. I wish it wasn’t an appetizer because it was delicious. Or at least intoxicatingly delicious. I split the gator tacos with a friend and they were a fail. The shell was a cross between a hard and soft taco. It was chewy and tough to eat. The gator meat was fine, but the bangin’ sauce was just some sort of mayo/aioli fail. It was supposed to have fresh mango and a fire-red pepper and tomato salsa. I couldn’t taste any of that. We couldn’t even finish them they were so blah. The service was okay. We were a group of 6 so I could understand some delay. It took a really long time to get the check. I enjoyed the mac & cheese but it would have been best eaten as a snack. I wouldn’t waste a whole meal here again when there are so many great dining opportunities in NOLA.

Saints and Sinners has a cool name and menu, but their food just fell short overall for me. Come here to suck the brains out of freshly boiled crawfish. If you’re afraid of crawfish(aka me), you may not find anything too exciting about the place. My friend and I split alligator tacos and I ordered the adult mac and cheese(aka the one without crawfish). The taco shells tasted slightly stale, the gator wasn’t prepared well and the sauce was boring. Pass. My mac and cheese was a little better than average and the service was friendly, but I feel like there are so many other places to visit before giving this place a second shot.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon while visiting NOLA. We are from Wisconsin. The Packers were playing. Saints & Sinners is a Packer bar(nuff’ said). Apparently, it is also owned by Channing Tatum(yum!). It was a fairly medium-to-large sized group, totaling about 9 people over the course of the game. We sat at the bar. The bartenders(both the guy that had — at least based on my observations — been there a while and was more seasoned, as well as the one he was training) were both great, very amicable and poured some mean drinks. Personally, I got the homemade(and freshly made — pointing this out since most places in Wisconsin pre-make them) bloody mary, which was off the effing chain. I think I ended up getting two of them. Everyone else got a selection of beers(probably bud light, since they don’t have Pabst or Miller High Life in most of LA) — in addition to some random cocktails — they all seemed happy. I got the craw-fish mac and cheese. As someone who didn’t like craw-fish in the shell the first time I did, I really enjoyed this rich and decadent dish. It came with green beans — which I didn’t really understand — and was $ 12 — which I felt was a bit much for the size, but it was tasty nonetheless. Friends got the shrimp n’ grits, cheese curds and the regular mac and cheese. Everyone was happy. Based on what people were saying, it gets wild there at night, so I might avoid it at that time, but for the daytime football game time, it was perfect. Would absolutely be back again.

So ive been here before because of the music and the whole party scene, but today was the first time I have actually eaten here. First of all I did not know that they even served food. We were walking by and we saw they were serving freshly cooked crawfish. I have never had crawfish and I decided what better place to try them than New Orleans. We took a seat outside and ordered drinks and a pound and half of crawfish. Since this is my first time trying them maybe I’m biased, but they were amazing! They were nice and hot temperature wise and taste. I was a little nervous at first simply because I usally see half naked females dancing in front after 9, so i didnt expect any well prepared food but I did! Im not sure if I would come back to try anything else but the crawfish were great!

My friends and I all stopped here for our dinner for one friend’s bachelorette party. From what I understand, the bride’s sister called a few weeks before to make a reservation. I remember being told there was a certain dollar amount we were supposed to spend in order to have the whole back room to ourselves… or SOMETHING. Anyway, we got the whole back room, and there ended up being no caveats to how much we had to spend or anything like that. It was just a normal dinner service. We had one waitress for the 15 – 20 of us in the group, and she was great. To make it easier on all of us, she allowed us to split the checks per table, rather than just one big group check. I’d say service was slightly slow, but that’s to be expected for such a huge group. I ate some of the fried alligator and had the gumbo. It was plenty of food. Drinks were also really good. Bathrooms are cramped, just so you know. Also, from the back room, you can pretty much look straight into the bathrooms, and sometimes the men wouldn’t close the door… I think they should redesign the bathrooms, but I know with old architecture, it’s not always possible.

Wow oh wow was the Chicken & Andouille Gumbo The best gumbo in New Orleans ! The broth was clear not think and I could see exactly what was in it, very very tasty, my taste buds were dancing around with joy! Served with rice but not much so for me that’s a good thing, I’m a low carb kinda gal Cup 6.00 Bowl 10.00 Now my man can be kinda picky with his food be like good stuff, and for him to say this bite of an appetizer was delish really speaks Fried Alligator Tail(when available) 14.00 Fresh Louisiana alligator tail with our spicy ranch aioli for dipping. So yummy we only left 1 little morsel we doused it with not only Tabasco but also Crystal sauce For those of you who aren’t familiar it’s a spicy tangy bottle of sauce that’s made here in New Orleans OK so our waiter took forever to get to us they actually served someone that got there before us but as soon as they realize that he apologized right away he was a character Vinnie was great. Just beware that lots of drunk might be in there like the girl that was sitting right next to us she was so rude and disgusting acting like a fool not a lady OK so on to the drinks I had a love potion#10 Love Potion #10 10.00 Malibu, peach schnapps, banana liqueur, pineapple juice, orange juice. Garnished with red sugar rim and lime wedge. Highly recommended this one ! Strong and a little fruity«warning» you might get LUCKY that night My man had Miller Lite only $ 4 I’ll cheers to that His chicken sandwich was average nothing special I was expecting a little more especially from the pictures that we had seen before like with the branding on top but maybe that’s just for the burgers No biggie everything else was great Good job Channing Tatum, and his friend /business partner Keith Kurtz, here’s the story of how it became I guess they fell in love with the Big Easy’s laissez les bons temps rouler attitude and colorful history in a big way. Styled after the famous red-light district bordellos and burlesque halls of New Orleans’ Storyville era, Saints & Sinners is Tatum’s tribute to the city’s ribald, good-time reputation. I give it 4 stars because the forgot us, served people that came in after us first and the crazy drunk girl sitting next to us being mean to her waiter

Five Stars for this one very important fact: When crawfish were out of season they had them ! FIVEHUGESTARS ! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that SOMEONE was selling crawfish in the Quarter. Right in front of the place, right on Bourbon Street. They said they keep them saved for such a time. Love that !!! I ended up getting three pounds from two different stops here. It’s part of what made my trip to NOLA so grand. Yeah you rite !
