The real deal!!! Richard was awesome. My husband enjoyed talking to the owner as well. Got some background on post Katrina. I lucked out with an appointment. We walked in and I was able to get an appt. an hour later. I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to get in because they get booked quickly. So grateful I was. He has a gift– and uses it for good. Dawna was a wonderful hostess. From the minute I walked in, she was warm and friendly. The energy here is wonderfully positive. I’ve been to other shops where they may assume you know what you’re looking for. Dawna was very welcoming and helpful right up front.
I came the prior afternoon, but they were booked. Dawna kindly accommodated me by appointment the next day. (Tip: bring cash if you want to do 50% before/​50% after. Credit cards are accepted, and you’ll do 100% up front. Wasn’t an issue for me since I knew I definitely wanted a reading.)
I did a bone/​energy reading with Miss Karen, as recommended by Dawna. I had never experienced this before, and Miss Karen did not disappoint! She was comforting, reassuring and did a fantastic read. She was unassuming but candid with me and really gave some fantastic insights and spot-​on takeaways. I definitely recommend doing a bone reading as something different from a tarot. There’s nothing like it and I walked away feeling calm, clearer and «dusted off,» thanks to Miss Karen’s expertise. Thanks again; next time I’m in town, I will definitely be back.

Richard is the man to see! Loved this couple as their genuine care to give you a thorough and accurate reading. Superb insight, guidance, clarity and service! Didn’t know what to expect, just knew I needed a professional reading when visiting nola (I did my research before setting up appointments with Richard. Read reviews for all the local readers paying attention to common sense logic as to whether the reader is able to read you. Or convince you of things that you «didn’t even know about yourself») soooo glad I found glass magick! Few things to expect: don’t be nervous! When you first go in the room he will explain his style of reading as everyone mentioned (which is him reading who you are at this moment. Things that should instantly click as yep that’s me). He will expand on it. And then you start asking questions! I wish I knew this in advance because I usually dont care about much. So I had to randomly think of questions I might be curious about. Things like «am I on the right path with work?» «Am I going to find love?» «Is my family focused on the right things?»… So maybe prepare for this?.. I also secretly (not secretly now) wish I would have recorded my reading so I could remember all the details of it! At the very least, this makes you think about what you need to change, personal development admittance, that I walked out with a bit more drive at something that I previously wanted to happen/​do but he gave me assurance that I should and I can. Take it with a grain of salt. Your fate is in your own hands and it’s hard to believe my reading and that I can make my future what I want too. But I do.

I had a reading from RC Crow today (it was my first reading, ever) and it was an absolutely incredible experience. He explained his process and style of reading and made me feel very comfortable– such a relief because I was nervous coming in! He was relatable, charming, and so, so welcoming to me and he made me very aware of myself and the life experiences I have had up until now. He gave me the guidance I so needed, reassured my thoughts and his reading really
moved me to the point where I broke out in tears as I left the store. I left feeling confident and renewed– I left feeling like myself again.
In addition to Richard, I need to add how amazing Dawna is! She has such a warm spirit and she welcomes all into her wonderful shop no matter who you are or where you’re from. She is such a delight to talk to!
All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little guidance. Richard’s reading left me in awe– he was so dead on and so wonderful to talk to.

I went to this shop on the recommendation of other Unilocal reviewers. I could not have been more pleased. The woman who owns the store is so friendly and welcoming. I had a reading by Richard who was astounding. He was so sensitive and provided me with his reading in a way that was so disarmingly kind that I was literally moved to tears. If I return to NOLA in the near future, this will be my first destination.

It was my first time that i got tarot reading and i was more than pleased.
I passed the store and very curious about astrology. The time i was there Richard and his partner had a problem with their credit card machine, so i was waiting a lil and hoped it would got fixed but it didnt… Unfortunately i didnt bring enough cash. So i decided to leave. After a small talk, Richard didnt let me leaving the place and he offered me a FREE READING. i was like OMG… Richard also surprised me with a amazing reading and kinda open my mind about my past/​current/​upcoming relationship, he also tell accurately about my family situation and my career and what I really want in my life.
I was very impressed. I def will go back to him again if I have a chance of coming to New Orlean again. Thanks Richard for your kindness.

My gf and I walked in not knowing what to expect from a tarot card reading but were very curious to say the least. Richard was our reader. He was patient, great, and very informative. Although we had paid for 30 min our session went over and he never asked for more money. My gf was getting read and he offered to let me shuffle the deck once to show how it’s different for each person even if we had the same question/​person in mind. I came to the store with my best friend, who wanted a reading specifically from Richard, while we were on our vacation. She had done her research and felt like he was what she wanted. I came along and he had me sit in on her session, to my surprise. But I’m glad I did.
First off, Dawna was a delight. Was very informative about what the expect, helped eased the nervous tension of my bestie and was just pleasant to be around. After waiting for a little while, we were escorted to Richard.
As a best friend, I can say that everything he was telling her about things that have happened in her life, is as accurate as I know. A lot of it was advice and things we’ve talked about before and I could nothing but nod my head in silent agreement. I felt like he really and truly has a gift. He was able to read her down to a T and offered her some great advice. Even though it was her reading, he even asked me if I had anything I wanted to ask. That was great – but I only asked about things I thought would be great for her benefit.
I personally wasn’t sure how a tarot reading would go and wasn’t confident that I would be interested. After sitting in with Richard (who was so delightful – we went WAY beyond our allotted half hour!), I would say that if I ever got a reading done, it would be here with him. Really enjoyed being in everyone’s presence.

Visiting NOLA for the very first time and you don’t visit a psychic shop? That’s a deal breaker. I had to do it. So glad I did. This place is simply fantastic. For so many reasons. Here are my definitive takeaways why I would go here again:
— Dawna! Such a nice, down to earth, genuine person taking care of the store. Really kind. She helped me decide whether I should go for a card reading or not given it was my first time #TarotVirgin — not anymore :)
— I happened to bump into the store while exploring the quarter on a not so muggy day (when is it not muggy in NOLA is the question? That day wasn’t). So I hopped in and got the pleasure to chat with Dawna for a few and she had very valid reason that convinced me to go for it
— Richard was simply awesome. He definitely knows how to take care of the people coming to him to get some insight on whatever they are looking for. Typically — I am not the kind who believes in cards and readings. But what I found out at the end of my session is that if the reader has a gift to understand strangers /​customers who seek some guidance, that reader can indeed be a gift of it’s own kind. That’s Richard. I could not put my finger on what is it but he definitely knows how to convey the message via the cards and those seeking guidance — I doubt any one will ever not believe what he has to say — via the cards. Safe to say he made this non believer, a believer for sure.
The key or the lesson learnt: If you are seeking some kind of guidance on something that is on your mind, seek a reader who has a gift. Richard is good. I was very happy at the end of the 30 minute session I had with him. I would highly recommend. Worth the time — every minute of it. But make sure your questions are real and not for the sake of fun.
Again, thanks to both Dawna and Richard for the wonderful experience. Keep up the good work. I sure will make it a point to stop by and say hello whenever I return back to NOLA.

Both my husband and I got a reading with Richard. My husband went first and came out convinced and he’s such a skeptic. He had nothing bad to say!!! Of course I had to go a get one too! I concur, Richard is amazing. He makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t hold back. He takes his time and gives you the attention you need. He reassured me about a lot of things in my life and was so positive about everything.

I stopped by Glass Magick over the summer for a tarot reading with Rich. Upon meeting him, I didnt know what to expect from him or the cards. This was my second tarot reading ever.
After sitting down and talking to Rich, I instantly felt a connection. He was like that goofy uncle every little kid should have. He honestly reminded me of moe from the 3 stooges.
Anyway, he was spot on about most everything, and although he was flat out wrong about one, he was generally good. He isnt the best, but his good and jolly demeanor and Dawna’s excellent relationship with him — they love to pick on eachother like siblings– put me in a great mood all week and calmed my nerves about some things.
Overall good time.
