If you haven’t had a burger stuffed with Mac N cheese. You haven’t lived. Probably enough calorie intake to last you a week. But oh so yummy!

Too expensive. $ 10 for a plain turkey burger which btw is not what I ordered. Won’t be back. Even with a coupon. Later!!!

i’ve been here twice now and I love it. I enjoy getting my stuffed burger with an egg on top and the fries are delicious. My boyfriend enjoys the turkey burger. Between the food and the awesome service that Amani gives us we will be back again. She has been so great. If you go, ask for her! She is always on point with us!

Food was decent. Service was horrible. Sat outside. Waitress never came out. Had to go inside to order. And they weren’t even busy. Not worth the hassle for a hamburger.
After traveling all day, decided to stop for burger and fries. The burger was very tasty and fresh. The SERVICESUCKS! waitress served the food and I had to hunt her down for a refill and check. never once did she check on her tables. Almost left money on table and walk out. Finally got the bill and asked for her not to walk away. Paid and left. won’t be back!

The burger I had here had to be one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Brilliant idea to cook the toppings(cheese, bacon, onions and such) inside the burger instead of sticking it on top. The staff was so nice. And the food came out so quickly! HIGHLYRECOMMEND!!!

I had the All American Juicy Lucy with fries. I love that they use Tony’s Chachere season on their fries and despite how juicy the burger was the bread didn’t fall a part. The service wasn’t the best, but I would definitely go back.

Can’t substitute the«fillings» for burgers I’m guessing because they’re prestuffed. Food is very well seasoned. Fries maybe a bit too much. Cool location but not much parking. The vibe inside is really laid back. Very clean and not too loud. My biggest complaint would be the server is slightly stand-offish(not sure that’s a word). We asked what’s the challenge with this HUGE burger in a picture they have on their napkin dispenser. She responded«you have to eat all of it» and walked off… wait, what? LoL who says that? Your job is to… never mind, you get the point. She wasn’t too helpful. Other than that, this place is a nice spot to come have a nice bite to eat. I’d give it 2.5 stars if possible, but 2 will do.

The food might be good but our group wouldn’t know. It took us 15 minutes standing at the bar to finally get someone’s attention, it wasn’t even that busy. The male bartender there at the time ignored us completely and eventually told us they didn’t sell Jameson, which we pointed out on the shelf that they did have. We assumed he was high or drunk. The service was so bad we won’t be back to see if the food is any good. Too bad because we live around the corner…

Ok. Good place to bring to little league or soccer team. Burger ok. No need to rush in but again a good place to bring the team.

Great Burguers! Ms Gracie was very nice and attentive; we were late and they treated us like the first customer. Kuddos! Onion rings a MUST!

My friend was surprisingly hungry for some protein so we went on over to Juicy Lucy’s a burger joint that I have been wanting to visit for a while. While my friend had trouble with his as a molten hot stream of hot cheese flowed all over him after one bite I had a more civilized selection of bacon and aged cheddar cheese that did not have the same reaction when I bit in. Surprisingly the turkey burger called the mid city was a home-made patty and not one of those preformed turkey burgers you find at most places. It was juicy with a nice smoked flavor from the bacon and juicy from the cheese both stuffed inside. I had a nice serving of sweet potato fries as well. Overall it was a very good meal though I did think it was a tad overpriced.

I made a beeline to Juicy Lucy’s for lunch today in an all out effort to replenish protein. I’d left the house without breakfast because of an early dental appointment. By lunchtime, my bio-rythyms were really out of kilter, and the proprietor at Juicy Lucy’s smooth talked me into a Turkey Burger called the Bywater Burger. It was a turkey burger, stuffed with Swiss Cheese and 5 Alarm Chili on a sesame seed bun, topped with pepper jelly, mixed greens and sauteed onions & mushrooms. It sounded intriguing, so I requested that the burger be prepared well done, which took a bit of time to do so. When the food arrived, I was so famished that I neglected to cut the burger in half in order to eat a half at a time. Big Mistake! My unsatiated appetite prompted me to grab the Bywater Burger and bite into it and without warning, the stuffed melted Swiss Cheese and the 5 Alarm Chili squirted out. Let me tell you that taste wise, the 5 Alarm Chili was not hot at all, but temperature wise, the Swiss Cheese that stuck to my left hand, chest, left cheek and left thigh was like nuclear hot. I think I may have sustained a 3rd degree burn to my hand. The eating experience was totally ruined. And cost wise, I could have had two turkey burgers with the same ingredients prepared in the conventional manner elsewhere, for the price of the one Stuffed Bywater Burger at Juicy Lucy’s.

I tried the Juicy Gitti(stuffed w/sautéed mushrooms, onions, garlic and Swiss cheese) and it was just ok. They tell you before ordering that the burgers are cooked medium-well to well done and you don’t have a choice… Hence my burger was well done and a little dry. It was lacking in flavor and the fries were unsalted and too crunchy for my taste. My wife had the Chef’s choice which they called the Drew Brees’y Juicy or something like that. It came with macaroni cheese in it and was pretty disappointing, she only had about half the burger before calling it quits. The service here was pretty poor. Upon greeting me the server asked how I was doing and I said good how are you and she responded«I’m here.» Then when we were ready for the check she was outside smoking a cigarette and reading a book(we were the only customers in there and she was the only employee besides the cook who was also outside). We won’t be coming back…

GRACIEISTHEBESTWAITRESSINNEWORLEANS. Yep. I said it. It’s the truth. This is the first spot we hit upon landing in Nola. We wanted burgers & booze, and it looked inviting. The man who seated us showed us the menu, and how you can get your burgers stuffed with whatever delicious shit you want. Holy hell. And I can top it with whatever too?! Marry me. Gracie was our server. She was the epitome of southern charm. She helped us with everything. Got us tasty cocktails we hadn’t heard of, told us about the parades & where to go, gave us the # to the restaurant in case we needed help, brought us amazing food on a stick & burgers… I loved every minute. Give that woman a raise, and a hug from San Diego!!!

IFIT’S SPELLEDCORRECTLYIT’S A SHAMELESSRIP-OF: original Matt’s slogan; THREW-BREESISSTUFFEDWITHMAC&CHEESE, BACON; game-ritual brilliant! PRICY: 2 burgers and sides totaled $ 36 with tip; 2 Smashburger combo meals: $ 24. When some locals took me to Matt’s Bar in South Minneapolis back in the early 90’s I had the(alleged) Original Jucy Lucy. There was much debate in the city as to which joint came up with the first stuffed burger. But according to most people I knew, Matt’s was the best if not the first, and notably differentiated from its competitors through misspelling. So when I noticed that this New Orleans chain included the«I», I was naturally suspicious. But I liked the burger, especially the mac & cheese, bacon stuffed Threw Brees — that combination is fricking genius. The pricing is the main draw back though. With tax & tip one burger & rings, no beverage, averages $ 18! That’s about 50% higher than the original Matt’s! I mean we’re talking burgers here not foie gras. HOTLANTA? WTF! Why’s a local chain naming a burger after our nemeses dirty birds?

This was one very good Burger Joint! I went here not only because it is within walking distance of where I live but also the many positive things I heard about this place. First things first I need to talk about the Customer service. The waiter I had was very friendly and helpful. He gave me quiet a few suggestions on what to try. That and he explained how they make their burgers which was very interesting to say the least. I chose the Juicy 9th ward burger. What I like about the burger is the fact the ingredients are put inside the meat. A rather new concept for me I might add. Still though the patty was bursting with flavor and nice and juicy! The ingredients inside this particular patty contained bleu cheese, onions and mushrooms. It was an Mmm good experience! However the only negative thing I have to add to my review was the fact that cheddar cheese fries were very terrible. I’m sorry but if you want good cheese fries use a different kind of cheese. In the future I might just go with onion rings or regular fries instead. I guess when I heard about Juicy Lucy’s I figured that it would be located in a bigger building. I guess it’s not the size of the building that matters but the way they use it. They do have a bar area and they sell abita beer so I guess most of my complaints are silenced. But I bet during peak business hours you may have to wait to get a table in this place. In short great burgers, and great service but terrible cheese fries.

This feels like the evening of painful reviews! It’s difficult to write this review because normally I’d give them four stars but the last time I came is forever etched in my mind. First the good part, the food is usually good! I’m a carnivore and love the novelty of having a stuffed burger! My favorite burger is still from Camellia Grill, Port of Call/Snug Harbor, Elizabeth’s dream burger etc. so I would rate the food 4 stars! I’ve been here several times and enjoyed the boudin appetizer, the veggie burger(don’t judge, I was with vegetarians and decided to try it), and a burger stuffed with cheese and bacon on top! Plus my favorite server, I think her name is Denise(she is African American) and always remembers me, is a total sweetie! She is attentive but not overbearing which is nice. Here’s the bad part, the server I had at my last visit was terrible! She was curt, rude, told us her life story(when we just wanted to eat and get out of there), and didn’t give is good service(we had to hunt her down for drinks, boxes, the check etc). I had chosen this place to bring my two mentors and former bosses and I was so embarrassed when we received this service. So in conclusion the food is good but the service can be hit or miss depending on who is working.

Stuffed burgers. Sounds weird but tastes so good. I have eaten here twice and each experience has been very good. I have ordered the Turkey Dirty Bird and a beef burger stuffed with bacon and cheddar cheese.(The Atlanta Falcons a/k/a «dirty birds»). This gave whole new meaning to tearing up this sandwich. Each time I ordered sweet potato fries which were very good. I also had a chance to taste the onion rings and they were VERY good. The onion rings will be on my bucket list for next time. The cost of two burgers, two non alcoholic beverages and two side items were approximately $ 27 before gratuity. Not bad for a nice dine in gourmet burger. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is pretty small and parking is on street only. After hours, park in the Capital One bank parking lot.
