Almost like an episode of Glee, kids from Juilliard and the School of American Ballet often prance or singing their way into the cafeteria, and the friendly staff manages to keep a smile on their faces throughout the day. The pleasantly stout man usually working the grill is great for sports conversations. He also mentioned to me that he was recently engaged and said he proposed to his soon to be wife by throwing the ring in her face and exclaiming BLAH in ghetto fashion. That was a good laugh for my daily grind. Mostly, I’d stay with the pizzas here. They’re obviously overpriced for New York, but they’re tasty and come with a fountain drink. My only gripe here is that the pizza takes forever to make since it has to roll through the maker. They are thin crusted, and when I eat them, I feel like I’m popping delicious pizza sized potato chips into my mouth. I work a few floors up in the ROSE building so this is just a great place to pop in for a snack or a quick bite but nothing more than that. I don’t think the public is allowed in here unless accompanied by an employee, student or parent. So be prepared to present some Id to the security guards up front.
