This play is at the Mitzi E. Newhouse theater at the Lincoln Center. It’s about two gay fathers raising a child together. The Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater doesn’t not literally have a bad seat every seat is close to the stage because the theater is vertical. To me, the story is similar to any other couple relationship story except the story centers around a gay couple. The story touches on topics like parenthood, loyalty, fidelity, trust, friendships, love. Like any other story about a couple so there was nothing that new as far as topics go. The only thing that I would determine as «new» is these subjects are now about a gay couple. The best part of the play was, for me, the set. I loved the way multiple rooms and sets were moved onto the stage with these floor platforms coming from different directions. The platforms all fit together like puzzle pieces. That was the most impressive part of the play, for me.
