I love the deal they have! For only $ 10 they serve you a nice sushi roll with a small soup and salad! Just perfect! I love the food presentation and flavor! Customer service was so so… But I will definitely come back.

Mr. Fish doles out large, fresh, creative sushi at decent market prices for midtown Manhattan. Sometimes the waits are a little long and that buzzer doesn’t vibrate for a while, but the sushi is good. Try the Mr. Fish special roll, or the daily special sashimi.

By far the best sushi deal in the city I have experienced. My friend recommended it to me because I was craving sushi BAD, but I am also an extremely poor college student who didn’t want to pay $ 15 for sushi. We walked to this cute little place in Koreatown which has a bunch of food options inside. I ordered either the Beach Roll which is shrimp tempura spit with crabmeat with fresh tuna and white tuna on top or the Philadelphia Roll which is cream cheese, avocado, cucumber with fresh salmon on top. I don’t remember. Not only was the sushi DELICIOUS, you get such a good deal as well. My roll came with 8 huge pieces with potato crunches piled on top, miso soup, edamame, and a cabbage salad. All for about $ 12. Granted I got the most expensive one, but most of their rolls range from $ 9 – 10. Definitely a place to try out if you’re craving some sushi!

I’m a sushi fanatic. I would love to eat it at least once a week, but unfortunately this can ring up a large bill. Mr. Fish is a dream for a sushi lover. I always get the same thing, the Big Bang roll. You’d expect sushi from a food court to be mediocre at best, but take it from a sushi expert, it’s far from mediocre. For only $ 10.50, you get 8 huge rolls with potato crunches piled on top, miso soup, edamame, and a cabbage salad. Trust me, for a price that good, you won’t be able to keep yourself away!

Kinda what you expect from food court sushi. I got the rainbow roll. It wasn’t terrible but a bit falling apart. It looked like the crab in the middle was mix with something. It camewith miso, a small weird salad with a gulp of mayo sauce on top and 6 edamame beans. Freebies, yey! The only thing i cared about was the roll and miso, and the soup was small and warm. Not hot. But overall what you expect from a foodcourt, like i menrioned before.

Very good place! The price is reasonable and the food is good! I love the rolls here. Especially that one wrapped with cucumber. However, there aren’t many tables. So u need to be lucky to find one. There are many other food store inside the same building, so u can always find ur favorite.

Visited this food court during one of my trips to New York with a few friends and walked around Ktown, Queens and other places — stopped by here for lunch and I must say I was a bit surprised. My guy friends ordered different dishes while I had a few rolls of sushi and bowl of miso soup plus mashed potatoes that came with. Everything looked well prepared and presented. Food was pretty good and the price wasn’t too bad. Lovely set up and feel downstairs and plenty of seating upstairs along with dessert around too. We didn’t try the froyo place but will try the next time we are in the area during one of our future trips.

This place is fantastic — prices are low, service is really great and taste is just amazing! Their Philadelphia roll is probably the best in the city. Fish is always fresh and its quality is very good. Miso soup that comes with sushi is a good bonus. And the most important thing is, that I can always get my favorite sushi really fast(except very complex rolls with many ingredients). Perfect for lunch and to take out.

A really phenomenal deal for some crazy, creative rolls! When you order a special roll, it comes with a miso soup and several sides that seem to rotate. This last time it was cucumber salad and edemame; last time there were mashed potatoes? Bizarre, but good! But yeah. The rolls. Specifically: T.T. ROLL Big Bang Roll The first one, the T.T. Roll, was *phenomenal*. Inside it’s nothing special — crabmeat, spicy tuna, cucumber, etc. But instead of being in traditional rice /seaweed, this is served in an egg roll. It was *intensely* good. And with all those sides included, it was I think $ 11 or so? Pretty good deal :) The other roll I got was Big Bang Roll. It was nice, and it’s flourish was a bunch of thin, noodly, deep-fried potato shavings. I dig it :)

Each sushi roll comes with miso soup, mashed potatoes, and pickles, so it’s really not such a bad deal for $ 10 per person. We shared the Mr. Fish Roll, which consisted of fish slices and crunchy crumbs on top of a California roll, and the Sister Roll, which consisted of salmon slices on top of a California roll. I don’t know why so many of the menu items have to be variations on the California roll, but our sushi craving was satisfied.

More than what you bargain for! I had the havana roll. I thought it was kind of pricey but then again its a special roll. You actually get more than what you bargained for cause it comes with side dishes and miso soup! I’m pretty impressed with their combos. One roll was more than enough to fill me. Not too shabby for a sushi place in a food court like this one.

Great option for sushi when in the area and want something quick — and especially when eating alone! They had hwedupbap as a special — which is pretty much like Korean Bibimbap, but with lettuce and sliced raw fish, that’s mixed with rice and spicy gochujang(red chili sauce). It’s one of my favorite things to eat, so I was excited to see a counter sign advertising it here! I also ordered a shrimp tempura roll, which was delicious. I didn’t get the mashed potatoes or the other sides the other reviews mention(maybe the lady was horrified I was eating so much as it was??), but what I ordered was plenty for me! Will definitely be back!

Unique sushi options. Somewhat high prices for some items. Service speed varies depending on the hour you enter. Consistently tasty and almost always fresh, have had a few rogue meals. I do want to point out that they’re extremely stingy with to-go orders. You get 1 tiny packet of soy sauce per roll of sushi, which is barely enough for a few pieces. You also get one tiny napkin per roll, which is also absurd.

It’s located on the left side when you go into Food Gallery. I ordered the Havana Roll, which was all different kinds of seafood wrapped in a thin cucumber roll. It was a bit difficult to eat, as the roll itself was pretty big. The roll came with miso soup, pickled cucumbers, and mashed potato. It was healthy and filling!

Have I told you about the Green Monster? Well, if you’re from Boston don’t get confused, this is WAY better than yours! I’m talking fresh crab with avocado in a fancy preparation and presentation. Serving sizes are generous and well balanced, with miso soup, succulent mashed potatoes, and well pickled sliced cucumbers.

After reading Louise W.‘s review on big sushi rolls with sides, I was salivating and focused on trying Mr. Fish. So was the sushi spectacular? Not at all. But it was good, the roll was big, the presentation fun, and the sides were fun to eat. I loved the pickles, enjoyed the miso soup, and even the ball of cold mashed potato with peas and above all, the mound of fried shredded potatoes in the middle of my roll. The whole thing was fun to eat and tasty too! I have no idea why they wouldn’t give the sides but for the miso soup with takeout. So eat in because you don’t want to miss your mountain of fried potato strips with your Big Bang roll! Oh, and reading the other reviewer’s notes I guess the sides do change. But if you are lucky enough to get those fried potatoes, enjoy!!! Service was very friendly and efficient. As soon as I neared the stall, the owner or manager, who was chatting at another stall, came rushing back to take my order. A good spot for quick sushi.

Totally reliable & delicious sushi, always consistent, reliable quality sushi here with high presentation points. Just what you’d expect @ FG32 institutions. Soft launched 02/2013, this sushi booth replaced former #5, Bian Dang.

PROS: — BIGBANGROLL — really good. I loved the spicy tuna — so fresh and the fried sweet potato was delish THEOKAY: — G-DRAGON ROLL– yea sure the rolls are big and they have 10 pieces instead of the usual 8 pieces the extreme rolls have but it doesn’t taste as good. It’s like short on sauce. If you paid $ 10 and above for a extreme roll, you’d expect it to be amazing. It’s not good when it requires that I have to use soy sauce with sushi. — HAVANAPEARLROLL — it’d looked pretty on the dish. taste wise it was OK. Instead of the usual seaweed wrap, it’s wrapped with a hard fine slice of cucumber. I found it a little hard to eat without having all the fillings fall out when you take a bite. CONS: — when you get take out you don’t get the Mash potatoes and pickled cucumbers sides so yea… =(. you only get the miso soup.

Came back for the G-Dragon Roll. I felt like we were having a moment. I can’t get the taste of him out of my mouth ;) But real talk, it was so good, and it was huge! A solid meal that came with veggies and miso soup. I will definitely come back for more of the specialty rolls. Not really worth it for the smaller rolls. It was solid and unique and good, definitely rather interesting take to sushi. Not the original flavors or ingredients. Definitely coming back. Definitely recommend.

Dear Mr. Fish!!! This is my love letter to you for always whipping up such awesome sushi for me whenever I need a quick fix. Your sushi are always fresh and it fills my belly with delight minus the guilt. I especially love your Havana Rolls($ 9.99) because I can thoroughly enjoy the essence of seafood with the refreshing taste of wrapped cucumber that’s used instead of seaweed and rice. The scoop of mash potatoes with hidden peas and sweet pickles that come along with my Havana Rolls are satisfying and the miso definitely helps tie in my meal all together. Best of all, I enjoy your open kitchen where I can watch you create my order and I like the fact that you provide me a beeper so I can come back for my meal when it’s ready for pick-up. Your station is forever clean and your staff are always friendly!!! XOXO and cheers to good food!
