I came across grand karaōke because I was searching for an affordable karaōke spot that would reserve a room for my party of ten. I called this place two days in advance to ask for rates and hopefully make a reservation if the price was right. I stated that I had a party of ten and was told it was $ 40/hr. I thought that was an awesome price and even told the person on the phone that it was the cheapest price I’ve heard so far and requested to book my reservation right away. Of course it was too good to be true because at the end of my party I was presented with a bill of $ 350 just for three hours of karaōke. I took the bill and requested for them to honor the rate I was told. I clearly stated on the phone how many people were attending and how many hours we planned on being there. So I found it very disrespectful that they tried to charge me double than what they originally stated on the phone. They didn’t even attempt to tell me the changed rate when I arrived for my reservation. If they did I would have never agreed to $ 80/hr. For that I could have taken my party to another place. The only reason I present them with one star is because Unilocal won’t allow me to give them any less. So one star because they’re liars and because the waitress threw the bill at me when I requested for her to honor the rate she originally presented to me. She told me to read the fine print on their menu for parties greater than 4. So before you take their word for it read the fine print! Because they won’t tell you. The bill will show it.

Pricy drinks that are really really really watered down taste like I just had watered down sugar water with tons of ice and no alcohol… YUCK! Much older crowd late 30 to 50’s Not really my cup of tea. Had to walk out of this place obnoxiously loud and gaudy music can’t really hear anyone talking. The main lounge is on the 4th floor… can get really crowded. Really don’t get it… Final verdict” ^^Drinks Suck ^^Prices Suck ^^Music Sucks ^^As the previous poster mentioned the bathrooms are clean. ^^Overall, not the greatest place to hangout at in k-town.

I came here last Friday around 11. $ 40/night on a Friday night, no wait for rooms. Decent selection of music by artist name, very large selection of spanish songs(about half the album). I found it a bit strange as usually there are also Chinese or Korean songs in the mix but it was just Spanish and English for our party — is this normal? Grand is accessible via third floor walk up, 4th floor if main space of Grand is too busy. Located right next to a bar, the sound of music from their DJ often spilled over into our rooms, and we heard noisy party goers even over the sound of our singing. We asked for water upon sitting and was told it had to be bottle or no water(we were able to circumvent this by going directly to the bar). Strange, I’ve NEVER been told that we HAD to order bottled water prior to getting drinks. That was a bit of a turnoff. Regardless, we did have fun and would probably come back if in need of a place in ktown to seat us right away.

This place is difficult to find. When you enter through the front door, the doors to the restaurant will be on your left. Ignore. Look straight. There will be stairs on the right hand side. Ignore Walk into the lobby toward a door on the left, with elevator buttons next to it. Press the UP button. Open the door and you’ll see the elevator. Take the elevator to the 4th floor. Once there, open the doors, and you’ll step into Grand Spotlight. I came here to watch the Korea v. Brazil soccer game. It’s a bar, but I wanted coffee to perk me up for the game. «Wait,» you say. «Coffee at a bar?» Obviously they don’t have any. But the bartender was so incredibly nice, he went downstairs to the restaurant and got me some coffee. Best service ever. Oh by the way, Large TVs on the walls. Great for viewing games/events) There are huge private karaōke rooms. And the bathrooms are incredibly clean.
