Best pizza hands down. All you«meh» and«eh» complainers don’t know how good you got it. THE. BEST.

Its usually a hit and miss with regular pie deliveries from Gotham. Ive gotten a plain pie delivery once when I was craving it and it was gross, and the other time the crust was crispy and perfect. Sometimes its great sometimes it doesn’t even taste like Gotham. Ordering a grandma pie delivery never fails though, and is seriously addicting. If your not lazy to go in and grab a slice, its always on point.

I think their crust has some kind of potion in it. Simple, but so yummy… service can SUCK. But who needs pampering for a good New York slice? It’s kind of addictive. The grandma slice is super yum.

I have been here twice now and I have loved it both times! This is one of the good New York pizza places. The slices are thin and crispy and just super tasty and light. I am a pizza guy and have tried a bunch of places in the city and this place is right up among the top. If you are craving a good new york style pizza and are in midtown, give this place a try, I bet you won’t be disappointed. I have tried the margherita and buffalo chicken and both of them were perfect.

The crust is that perfectly done crispy but not overdone New York City pizza crust. If you don’t go for just the plain cheese(which is great), try the grandma slice for sure. It’s fantastic!

A classic pizzeria in a neighborhood that doesn’t have a ton without walking for a few blocks! The service is really fast and they do a good job of keeping fresh pizzas coming out of the oven. They have a pretty wide variety of pizzas, with decent pricing for slices and fountain sodas. Everything is pretty standard for a pizzeria — plastic forks and knives, as well as wax cups with lids, etc. Their white pizza is not one I would recommend — it doesn’t have a ton of flavor unless you add garlic powder or something like that on top! Other than that, the other kinds I have tried are all fine! The garlic knots are definitely worth a shot! Super cheap at like 4 or 5 for a dollar and they come out nice and warm. They do have a lunch special which is something like 2 plain slices with one drink for $ 5, but I’m not sure if this is just during the week or not. This place fills up with a lot of kids from nearby schools during the week at around lunch time, so keep that in mind depending on what time you’re coming in! If you have somewhere to take it to go, do that! There isn’t a lot of seating, and the kids sometimes stay well past when they’re done eating.

delicious. my friend and i scarfed it down as soon as we got it. We ordered meatball pizza and cheese, and we really enjoyed it. It took a while to arrive but it was the perfect size to have before we went out. We split a large pie and a 12 inch pie among three people but probably could have had 2 large pies. We were incredibly hungry haha.

Eh. Came in today starving and hoping to see why some of my friends in the neighborhood come here, but I was unimpressed. The pizza itself gets three stars, as I don’t that I have ever given any pizza less than that, but the service is super, super lacking. The crunch of the crust makes them different, but I haven’t decided if that makes the pizza any better. Not sure what some reviewers are talking about in terms of cleanliness — all the tables had crumbs on them and no one seemed moved to do any cleaning. I will say that the slices were standard NY pizza sizes though(meaning they were fairly large), so whoever said the slices are small maybe needs to take a lesson in portion control.

This was the second time I tried Gotham. The pizza was delivered in about 35 min using GH and 25 calling directly. The pie was hot the first time; could have been warmer the second. The crust was crispy — cooked just right. An overall good pie.

Came to this place for lunch. They have a two slice and one drink special for $ 5 or $ 6. Got a regular slice and a margherita slice. I love the dough they use in this place. It has a grainy texture to it. Would love to give this place more stars but I didn’t think the pizza had a lot of taste.

Still a few stars for the food but delivery the past three times takes OVER an hour for slices. I still order but plan ahead.

I can’t speak for the actual store front but they provide me with food so quickly when I’m not willing to wear layers or really clothing and I’m being a bum. The delivery is super speedy to my area despite a seamless account that tells me 45 minutes. I almost have to throw on something decent enough to meet the delivery guy with the steaming hot, slightly greasy pizza they make. The crust is relatively thin and crunchy and they don’t skimp on toppings or sauce. I haven’t ordered anything too fancy or complicated(pepperoni) from them but for a mere $ 20 you can feed two people relatively well and be in a lovely post-pizza food coma.

I was looking for parking to eat something this was the closest one where I parked . It was ok, I had better ones before. I believe in order to get famous all have to something better than others and make something special than other pizza stores. That makes difference

After a nice pool day with my boyfriend, we wanted to grab a quick bite… and we saw this nice pizza spot, so we decided to give it a shot! The pizza was nice and crispy… a little small, but still nice! I wanted garlic knots on the side, and sadly they said they didn’t have… I am not sure if they didn’t have at the moment, or if they just don’t make them(ATALL)… The spot is nice and clean… when we walked in, a man was taking up a table of six, with his daughters… unnecessary! He had the chairs open and the ones he was not using, he still had like he owned the pizza shop! While ordering our food I noticed this, and I was ready to say something because it is not right for customers to leave or eat standing because people want to use extra chairs and tables… I was not going to sit right next to him, but I was going to have the extra table and chairs moved! So whatever… while we getting our food, the man left, and by the time my boyfriend and I got our food, a man who works at this pizza shop cleaned the table for us. … 3 stars because the slices are a bit small small, and they had no garlic knots.

I usually order from Pizza Park but decided on Gotham because I wanted to try something new. TBH I’ve had better pizza outside of NYC. This place isn’t good by city standards… I suggest you pass. I wonder if Ray’s is better.

Really disappointed in the service tonight. Had an order for delivery just a few blocks away from where I was. Despite ordering at 7:20p and being told 30 minutes, called at 8:00p to hear that they forgot the order and it wouldn’t be until 8:30p. Fast forward to 8:35: we’ve called again about an update and were told its out for delivery so 20 – 30 mins. Once the pizza arrived at 8:50p, we were starving and the margarita pie was stone cold(room temp) cutting our teeth and most of the pie was short on toppings… Let me be specific – the crust was 2−3″ from the edge to the first toppings of the pie. Incredibly disappointed in this product and the service that went with it. Open to Gotham Pizza making it right with a good pie but until then, I refuse to eat there. Don’t give them your money, people.

I LOVE Gotham. Hands down one of my favorite places to get a pie from. Their pizza is thin but super good and their garlic knots are probably my favorite. They are garlicky but not too strong and tiny too so you don’t feel bad eating all 4 :)

I have to admit that I love and frequently crave the pizza here. The crunchy cornmeal bottom is addictive. However, I seriously question the hygiene of this place… I generally do not like to eat at questionable/possibly unclean places but this is the only exception. I get the heebie jeebies while dealing with the staff… And I don’t think I’m dealing with culinary experts. I hope they wash their hands before touching the food.

Is a great pizza, crunchy, nice texture on the dough good flavors on toppings, i think they use a thicker semolina in botton of pie so it adds more texture. I dont live in the neighborhood not even in new york, but every time i come here try to get their pizza.

On the way home from work I was craving pizza and decided to pop in for the first time. The restaurant is small(has about ¾ tables that could seat 4 people) but it is extremely clean. Gotham Pizza does not look like your typical cheap pizza joint. Every inch of the restaurant was clean which made feel at ease after seeing a few negative reviews. They have an A rating. Their slices are large and very fresh. I went around 7pm and got one cheese slice and one pepperoni slice that were both from fresh pizza pies. They were thick with cheese, had fresh crust, and weren’t greasy at all! The pizza looked so good I decided to add on a few garlic rolls, which were delicious and also fresh. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Two slices and 4 garlic rolls cost me $ 7.25, which I thought was pretty great for great pizza in a clean restaurant on the Upper East Side. Will definitely come back here in the future whenever I get the craving for pizza pie whether it be just a slice or for a full pie!
