Chipotle Mexican Grill

Standard chipotle grill. Nothing much special about it or unique.
The cons:
Location is small with only a few seats. Highly recommend that if you eat here to order the meal to go.
The white rice is very clumpy almost like sticky sushi rice which is off putting.
Beef barbacoa has a weird taste to it now and so much more saltier. Also I just found a large chunk of inedible fat.
The pros:
Serves alcohol drinks.
There is a security guard so no stupid fights will happen here.
Overall I won’t be back to this chipotle ever again. There are far better ones in midtown that are much better.

Not only was the rice dull but I didn’t expect for tomatoes here to be so spicy… Ok food.

Dear Chipotle employee, I found your attitude towards me and my friend unnecessary and unprofessional, regardless of the fact that you are working at a fast food restaurant. My friend and I were the only ones on line and we needed a moment to discuss whether we wanted chips or not. Your tone was impatient and you displayed annoyance in your overall appearance. There was literally no reason for you to rush us. When we were done with our food and I got up to put on my coat, you walked passed us saying, «Girls, clean up.» Clean up? CLEAN UP? Miss, your job does not require the attitude you had with us nor does it require reminding your customers to «clean up» in a reprimanding way that you would regard a child. It’s one thing to be tired and annoyed after a shift, but it’s another to order your customers around, especially when you only demanded us to clean up while there were clearly other customers nearby who didn’t get the same treatment.

Against my gut instincts, I caved in when sis wanted to do fast food Mexican. I don’t know what happens when I enter a Chipotle. Do I look anorexic? My little belly says NOT. I am not bulimic either. I feed my belly and keep it fed. I ate at the Chipotle on Varick St years ago with sis, who ordered a chicken burrito, while I had the vegetarian. She had a giant sandwich. Mine, alas, merely looked like the burrito without the meat. Hello, when someone orders a veggie only burrito, you don’t pack the same amount of veggies in a meat burrito! And my experience at this Chipotle? I wish I had remembered to photograph the burrito bowls we had. Positively anemic. This time my other sis was slighted also. Our burrito bowls looked nothing like the ones in the Unilocal photos. The worker initially gave me 3 tablespoons, yes, 3 tablespoons of rice. Then when I gave him a weird look and a tray of brown rice came out, he asked if I wanted some brown rice. I nodded vigorously to avoid being fed 3 tablespoons of cilantro rice. So he added 3 more tablespoons of brown rice. Was there a run on lettuce that night? We had lettuce shreds, so skimpy I thought they might have mistaken us for gerbils. Seriously, piece the shreds together and they wouldn’t make a romaine leaf. The cheese they sprinkled on as if the mice had eaten most of their inventory. I’ve seen more appealing dog food than the minced sofritas on my bowl, and the portion I got so measly it was less than a square of tofu. How expensive can 4 oz of organic tofu be? Not pricey at all and I know because I eat organic tofu all time. We ate because we were hungry, however disgruntled and became more so when we looked around. This brawny dude was eating a burrito so big his two big beefy hands barely covered it. One table had a burrito bowl coated in cheese. What gives? Are the workers giving their friends and regular customers more food? Were they giving larger portions to bigger people? Other people had skimpy burrito bowls like hours. Sis’s chicken bowl had a few pieces of overly salty chicken. My advice for Chipotle. Train your people to have standards because my money has the same value as the next person’s. And train your lazy workers to clean the tables. I haven’t entered a Chipotle in years because of the Varick St experience. This one will ensure I’ll never enter any Chipotle, ever again.

Grabbed a really tasty steak bowl here, and the staffers were friendly and efficient.
The two addresses on Ave of the Americas in this area are a nightmare for the dyslexic, and Unilocal makes it worse by allowing 2 listings for this location, one of which is incorrectly mapped (this one, which makes it appear this is the 504 one).
This one is actually near 14^th (the Chipotle @ 405 6^th is not, despite the map on one of its listings).

Chipotle is like a subway for burritos.
Pretty good location near 14^st subway.
Food:
Chose the chicken burrito with almost everything in it. Delicious!
Next would go with the bowl choice because it’s much easier to eat :)
Environment:
Place is pretty small maybe 5 tall tables and 1 normal table. Clean with an industrial look to it.
Service:
Service was great but you have to know what you’re getting before you go to the line or else you’ll slow the line down.
Price:
I think it’s very reasonable considering it’s fast food and also kind of healthy and most of all it’s really tasty.

If you’ve been to one Chipotle you might as well have been to them all.
What makes this Chipotle location different than the rest? It’s a bit smaller than most locations. There are only about 4 or 5 high top tables available for seating. I think prices are a tad higher at this location. That is unless prices went up overall at Chipotle. It has been a while since I had indulged in a burrito bowl.
Tip: If you take your burrito bowl to go, heat it up in the microwave for at least a minute. Thank me later!

I came in here on Sunday afternoon to soak up some alcohol from the day. It was around 4:15 p/​m. I got the steak bowl which came with cilantro-​lime rice. I chose black beans and grilled steak and it also contained corn kernels, black beans, and tomato salsa. It was sufficiently hot without being overly hot.
The cashier/​order taker was courteous and professional.

Chipotle, Chipotle how can this be true…
So I caught a little bit of a fright when I didn’t see you at your original location but when my best friend pointed forward with an odd look in her face and I seen you a corner over, my excitement returned 3x more. Wooo! I thought I lost you there and almost got mad at my other friends for not letting me know you were once closed.
I stepped in a did not mind the change at first. But eventually the next courses took me to disappointment. The guy making my bowl wasn’t friendly at all, my food was rushed (understable the line was growing larger behind us), I asked for chicken and you scooped up 4 chicken cubes and when I asked for a bit more. I was told it was double and would have to pay double. Smh. Finally at check out, girl at the register wasn’t friendly either. I did accept her add-​ons of chips and a drink. Was a little hissed at a juice costing me $ 4.75 more but I was thirsty and said whatever.
Turned around to see no available seats, had to wait on the side while I stared at a couple almost finishing to kind of remind them to hurry up (I felt so bad but wanted to eat soon and in comfort). The seating arrangement is terrible to me, your bumping elbows with the person next to you and the stools are really uncomfortable on your buttom. No décor, so plain, its messy and trash overflowing. I dont remember it like this in the previous store. Its a shame because I love your food but I don’t like this store, we’ll see what happens. So far disappointed.
