I’ve been to a few Oaxaca locations and this one tasted the best in my opinion. That korean taco is EVERYTHING!!! Good guacamole too! It’s cheap so you won’t spend too much. Unless you eat like a cow then that could be invalid.

3.5 stars, Oaxaca? Might want to pay attention… 3rd time in a row you’ve screwed up a delivery order. 3rd time in a row when I’ve called to have it fixed I’ve had to deal with a surly employee on the other end of the line. «Do you REALLY want the side of guacamole?» Yup. I ordered it. Pretty sure I’d like it to come with the order. A shame, really. This place used to be a pretty good option in the West Village. Apparently they’d just as soon be outdone by Dos Toros or Chipotle.

The Half a Torta Lunch Special $ 7.50(Fish) was not tasty, very small, and a bad value.

The West Village in New York has some of the most unexpected places right after another. Sometimes they are easily missed, but fortunately I stumbled upon Oaxaca Revolution de Tacos. This small shop sits on 49 Greenwich Avenue but they have shops all around Manhattan and Brooklyn. Each taco goes for around $ 3.50, and are made freshly. Definitely a great snack place. However, I don’t think I would go back anytime soon.

The kitchen speed and delivery service is terrible! This is the second time i’ve ordered here and the second time i had to wait 2.5 hours to get my meal. Oxaca should either consider increasing their staff to meet the volume or not accept orders if they can’t fulfill them in a reasonable about of time. When the food did finally arrive it was cold and soggy.

Dirt bags! Can’t rate the food since when I went there to redeem a Groupon they told me «we don’t take Groupons». Once I showed them the valid and purchased Groupon they went into the«we don’t speak english mode» so I left and went and had a great meal down the street. Now I know why they needed to use Groupon to get business.

My colleague calls this place the«taco hallway,» which is hilarious and kinda true. I come here occasionally for lunch during the week — it’s fast and casual, with counter space only(no tables). As a lunch special, you get 2 tacos & rice/beans for $ 8.95($ 1 more for special tacos). I get the pollo & el pastor(pork), and both range from decent to delightful depending on the day – flavorful and good meat-toppings-tortilla ratios(for you taco lovers out there). Not always hot enough, and the tortillas aren’t always soft. The major down side is that the service is terse and distracted, at best, and for those of you interested in ambiance, might wanna keep walking.

frisch zubereitet und man kann zu sehen, wobei die extreme Sauberkeit der Küche auffiel, Preise passen und die mexikanische Limonade ist zu empfehlen.

YOUSHOULDDEFINITELYTRYHERE! So happy to have stumbled upon this hole-in-the-wall place needing a very quick bite before heading to a show at the Village Vanguard.(Thank you kind, adorable hostess at The Meatball Shop next door for giving us the idea.) Holy moley — the Korean tacos are DELICIOUS. I had 2 tacos and it was just the right amount of food. I am ready to go back immediately and have them again. I am also one of those pathetic people that *can’t* eat cilantro — and the nice guys who work there were helpful in making sure I didn’t have an issue. Also: be careful — they offer plenty of sauces and the green habañero one is ridiculously spicy. This place is perfect for an excellent, cheap, quick, filling dinner.

Tried cactus taco. Pretty fresh. Nice blend of mexican flavors. Excellent for the price.

Portion sizes are very small. Even the drinks are minuscule at 8 ounces. You’ll leave hungry so beware. I came in with a Groupon that expires the next day but the owner said he doesn’t accept Groupons on Fridays or Saturdays. What a rip-off. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Unhappy with the customer service here.

This is a small hole in the wall joint with a friendly staff that operates similar to a food cart/truck. Seating indoors is limited and similar to being at a bar(maybe seats 10 – 12 tops) but that’s not a big deal given the small space they have to operate in. I want to like this place more, but the food is just ok. Upside, it’s not overpriced for being in New York. The food: Al Pastor Tacos — these are basically pork and pineapple amongst other ingredients. Generally my favorite style of taco. Unfortunately, these just don’t have the flavor or complexity that I would expect. Sadly a bit bland, and I’ve tried 3 times now. Rice and Beans — standard rice and beans for a place like this. Not a bad spot, good value for the price, but each time I’ve left wishing it was better.

I actually really loved this place way more than I thought I would. It’s cramped and small but the food is outstanding. I had the barbacoa tacos and they were mouthwateringly delicious. The staff work hard to get your order out quickly. It’s also ridiculously inexpensive for this part of town.

I got a group-on a few months back and it was going to expire YESTERDAY. SOOO i decided to go check it out. I told the nice man at the counter that I had the coupon. he scanned it and told me everything I could choose from. I wanted the chicken mole, but it was a 1.00 extra and I didn’t have cash. He mentioned that I could get three difference enchiladas or tacos. I choose to have one chicken, steak, and pork. They don’t drench them in any sauce and the flavors were pretty amazing actually. The cheese was perfect: while cheddar and nothing better. It was a little hole in the spot and believe me when I saw that. I almost thought they closed. Lets see the service was quick and easy(after the chef was done telling his story), but I wasn’t in a hurry so it didn’t matter at all. If you’re in the area stop by and check them out. GETTHEPORK if you like PORK!!!

The food here is pretty good for the price, especially the quesadillas and the enchiladas with mole. But the thing that sets it above is the guy who works here who is a total star.

I’ve reviewed the other Oaxaca in Brooklyn before, but this location deserves an extra shout out. The food here is delicious, I’ve been there twice this week. A year ago I barely ate Mexican food, and now I happily eat it, sometimes even crave it, and much of that love comes from experiencing the food at Oaxaca… But what makes this particular one so great is the kid behind the counter. I wish we’d gotten his name, but he’s a soccer fan. He’s just super friendly and pleasant to deal with, which seems so rare in NY. He genuinely makes me feel good about choosing to eat there. Oaxaca, give him a raise!
