Grabbed a really tasty steak bowl here, and the staffers were friendly and efficient.
The two addresses on Ave of the Americas in this area are a nightmare for the dyslexic, and Unilocal makes it worse by allowing 2 listings for this location, one of which is incorrectly mapped (this one, which makes it appear this is the 504 one).
This one is actually near 14th (the Chipotle @ 405 6th is not, despite the map on one of its listings).

This was my to go to restaurant during my lunch break at least three times a week. It was close to my job and I always enjoyed stopping by this location to get my old time favorite burrito bowls or just a simple burrito.

After a terrible first experience at the Chipotle on 6th ave btwn 21st & 22nd (no mild, no corn, no peppers & onions, no smiles, no remorse, terrible customer service) THIS chipotle totally made my day. Jasmine, Jose, Alberto & Matt were super amazing after hearing about the terrible time we had at their sister store and made the most perfect burrito bowl. I can’t believe I’d never tried Chipotle before this! Will be going back. to THIS store.

I’m so glad that I shared a bowl with my friend, Nick P. (Dreads) — because it was huge. There nothing really fantastic that I can say about the taste of the food or chips, because it’s standard; However, I did notice that the produce was fresh, the salsa is actually spicy, they were generous with the toppings and it was efficient.
But there is ONE thing I would like to say about Chipolte versus other Tex-​Mex eateries: Muffin cutting? No bueno.

Get the vegetarian if you want guacamole without paying extra. I usually have it on the side so i can use it for my chips. And if you’re not very hungry or low on cash then order from the kids menu (2 tacos, or cheese/​meat quesadilla, chips and a drink) It’s around $ 6⁄7 and it fills me up without all the calories.

I came in here around 4 PM on Sunday for a late lunch/​early dinner. I ordered a steak burrito because it would be easier and quicker to eat than 3 tacos. I ordered it with brown rice, black beans, jack cheese, guacamole, and fresh tomato salsa. This was all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla.
I didn’t realize the guacamole would be inside the burrito. But it was d-​mned good in it. And so was the salsa. The steak was chopped up or maybe even shredded. Everything together was quite good.

I LOVE chipotle. their quality of food, their choices, their system and their service is mostly okay too. BUT THIS LOCATION IS A MESS!!! the staff here is just so out of order. the cashier is sweeping floors leaving hte register unattended encouraging the rest of the staff to literally yell «CASH» across the store until the cashier decides to arrive. She then does not even charge for all of our purchases and we could have easily gone away with half of our items unpaid. the remainder of the staff seems to be having a jolly party there making this their own private territory to be loud and obnoxious. i guess the manager here is the cause for all this as other locations are not like that. As mentioned i love the food but this location is a disaster and i will definitely not go back here again (unless i want a freebie).

Suprised by the other reviews… this reveiw is on my visit today…
My best friend and I were by Urban Outfitters and browsing other stores. My stomach growled and I looked around and remembered Chipotle. BING! I have not ate at Chipotle in a very long while so I shared the idea with my best friend and her eyes agreed, lol. So were off to Chipotle! Went in, small line. The employee was friendly and very quick (which does not bother me) and the cashier was a bit bland but I think she was only trying to pick up the pace and forgot to bring up a smile. Added some chips, a fizz drink and a spacious table to place my bags down as well. I was excited. My bowl was delicious and the chips took me by surprise (the brown paper bag they come in makes them look questionable) but they were good and went well with the bowl. The atmosphere was very cool and calm. I love Chipotle, no complaints

This is actually a pretty good Chipotle. It feels special because it’s not situated at the Ground Level, and you have to walk upstairs to get inside. Similarly, you can sit at the counter and get a «raised» view of 6th Ave. if you are dining in. The staff is average, the food is typical Chipotle, and I have no complaints about this place.

I visit this location for lunch maybe once every 2 – 3 weeks, and it never disappoints! There’s usually a long line, but I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 5 minutes before I’m back out the door. The burritos are delicious and always ridiculously stuffed. Sure it’s not the absolute best I’ve ever had, but it’s a great break from the typical fast lunches in the area. It seems to me & my coworkers that they recently changed their chips and we’re not that crazy about them. But all in all great spot!

I actually get sad when I eat at chipotle these days. If you’re vegetarian or running a marathon the next day and need to carbo load you’re fine. But if u want a satiating amount of meat, you won’t find it here (or any other chipotle for that matter). From now on the only way to go is paying for extra meat which makes this a 11.50 burrito. So be it.

I like this Chipotle because of its location, and also because the staff besides being nice, they’re also very fast. Sometimes, there’s a really, really long line, but it moves so fast that you can’t even tell you’re actually standing in line.
it would be nice if the company itself — Chipotle– charged less for a spoonful of guacamole.

Great location (only two — long– blocks away from my apartment). Staff is always friendly, service is always quick, and food … well, let’s just say «Chipotle, you … COMPLETE … me».
I remember back in the day there was another Mexican fast-​food type restaurant right across the street (literally, you could see their menu from inside Chipotle). I thought to myself «ahhh, poor guys, they don’t stand a chance.» Lo and behold, that Mexican establishment is no longer. Such is the power of Chipotle.

God, what’s happened to me? I just wrote a 3 star review of Benny’s Burritos in the West Village, and now I’m writing 4 stars for Chipotle. eesh… I’ve been out of California far too long.
But here’s the thing, I never get burritos here. Let’s not even delve into the lumpy, poorly rolled turds they call burritos. I don’t consider Chipotle Mexican food any more than I consider Burger King «American food.» Chipotle is just some tasty, pseudo-​healthy, Mexican-​inspired crap.
Burrito bowls are my favorite. Barbacoa, chicken, and pork are all delish. I’ve never been able to choose which I like best and usually get a mix of two in the bowl.
It’s simple, unfussy, and workable in a city where solo dinners can be $ 30 easy. This location rarely has a line, although they do have a few chatty workers, which is probably more annoying when you’re hungry and you want to get your food and bounce.

This is one of my boyfriend’s favorite fast food spots. I usually go for a beef taco or a salad. The burritos are just too massive. This location the service was quick. The cashier accidentally over charged us (rang up two burritos instead of one). Luckily we caught the mistake before we left. He had to refund our money and ring us up all over again.

When Chipotle is right around the corner from my friend’s apartment, and this is all we can think of to eat, we come here.
The staff is super friendly, even with the amount of people that come through here, they still manage to have a smile on their face and handle the rush without a problem.
The food is fresh and plentiful. I love the burrito bowls and the seasoned beef.
You’ll find me here once or twice a week :)
