Auntie Anne’s

Rude employees. It was a snowy day in NYC when my family decided to use a groupon that allowed us into Madame Tussauds, along with giving us vouchers to this place. We were a pretty large group, and we just wanted to use our vouchers. Two of the three black women working there were not too happy to see us. All but one of the women had attitudes, and made racially charged comments such as, «this is why I hate black people» around CHILDREN. It made a lot of my younger cousins upset. Self hate at it’s finest; they’re black and so are we.
We were not rude or disrespectful. We were nice, smiley, friendly, and they were just completely out of line. Coming from a family of law enforcement, one of my family members contacted both Auntie Anne’s corporate, and Madame Tussaud’s about this experience. AA assured us that the women would be taken care of while trying to shove coupons down our throats, and MT told us that they would no longer be doing business with that location. I would like to think that our experience solely implemented this change, but I doubt it. There must have been tons of complaints for them to sever ties like that.
Anyway, the pretzels were fine which I mean, all Auntie Anne’s pretzels taste the same. Good pretzels, subpar service. I hope those women were fired.

Whenever my husband and I stop by 42^nd street and want a quick yummy snack, we would always stop here. The sugar pretzels with caramel dip are just so dreamy especially in the winter time because they are so warm and soft. The plain pretzel with cheese dip is also a must try. I love these pretzels.

Always great pretzels but pretty bad service at this spot. I don’t blame them since they have to serve hundreds of lost tourists in the Times Square area but still… service industry.
Went last night to pick up a pretzel before Mad Max! No pretzels were available but we were willing to wait. The girl asked us what we wanted after several minutes and when we told her, she walked away!
2 minutes later, she tells her coworker and about us, «they wanted a salted something, I don’t know.» Basically shooing us away and telling him to deal with us. He was at least nice telling us that the wait was going to be 15min. Eh, if this was a sit down place, you know we won’t return. But for delish pretzels and minimal interaction, it’s fine.

Great service for somewhat stale pretzel’s in midtown. Better than I expected and a great place to grab snacks before watching a movie.

I know that most people eat those street cart pretzels but I love me some Auntie Anne’s. They are soft, a little chewy and doughy. The street cart ones are always hard and old.
Love the fact that they have so many different flavors. I just wish there were more outlets of this amazing chain!

Because almost every street corner in ny has a food stand selling pretzels and a bunch of people walk around tearing apart and eating the soft, twisted bread, we couldn’t resist eating one ourselves… but from a shop instead of a food stand (though apparently the shop is all over the country. Bummer).
We wanted to try the honey pretzel but didn’t want to wait for it to finish baking, so we settled with the original. Although we didn’t eat the pretzel until a few hours later when it was cold and kinda solid, it was still very tasty… the dough was light and it had a nice saltiness. Just wish we ate it while it was still warm, but it was still yummy.

You know a pretzel is good because they’re made fresh and daily everyday. Love these pretzels

I love the pepperoni pizza pretzel. I know it is «just a pretzel,» but good is good.

Fast food pretzel chain that’s all over the country, in malls and airports, yet the freshly baked pretzel basted with butter and salted still tastes good.

Always a fan of AA’s pretzel, soooooo delicious, soft texture, warm temperature, orig/​onion flavor with cheese sauce. YUM!

This is for the lemonade and the fact that the location makes it easy for me to get some on the way to food adventures.
It’s addictive like crack.
I saw that if you add one of those odd colored flavors too it that it’s one of the most unhealthy drinks sugar-​wise though, so be careful.
I like the pretezel dogs here, but I had a cinnamon sugar pretzel and it had been out under the heat lamp too long.
Pretzel time’s pretzels are better.
