I’d love to say this was like a pizzeria on Staten Island, but that would even be giving Staten Island pizza a bad name. Really mediocre food, some of the worst I have had in Manhattan. The pizza was ordinary, the antipasto was sparse, consisted of cheap meat, four tiny cubes of cheese, and one small bruschetta. Save your time and money, and leave this place for the tourists.

So my wife and I popped into this place on Friday, November 6, at 6:45PM. Place was about 25% full, which should have been a clue. We were shown to a very nice table at the front window, but immediately moved(gruffly) to a dark back room where an extended family was in session. A toddler had a Heineken bottle by the neck and was rapping it against the tabletop. I looked at the mother … without effect. So we were shown to our 3rd table which rocked so badly even a salad plate under one of the legs couldn’t stabilize it. Oh, jeez. Finally, we settled into our 4th table and I made the mistake of touching the seat-back. My hand came away covered in some sort of smelly yellow goo. You just can’t make this stuff up. What a pigsty! All I wanted was a plate of pasta and a glass of red wine.

As an Italian, I am suspect w/«Italian» dishes let alone pizza. However, I was welcoming the surprise of this hidden gem especially as the Broncos defeated the Patriots. Cast it in your future game plans, I promise you won’t be let down.

I would never come back. The pizza was good at best. Service was not good. Oh and don’t get a fountain drink. They fail to mention that it is not free refills. We paid $ 9 for soda! There are so many amazing restaurants for pizza in NYC don’t waste your time or money on this one.

For NYC tourist pizza, it is good stuff. Was a delivered order– do not know the location but delivery was reasonable and food was hot.

Stopped in because we wanted a pizza. We got a half bottle of wine and a margharita pizza and both were great. I see some Unilocalers complained about slow service. We didnt have that problem. We had the opposite where she took my husbands empty plate while I was still eating. That bothers me. Its a pet peeve of mine.

Stopped in here for dinner as I was working in the area. Didn’t have the pizza. Instead I had the linguine with white clam sauce. Lots of clams and just enough sliced garlic. Aces. For dessert I had a cannoli and a decaf cappuccino. The cannoli was freshly made and a had hazelnut taste to it. Aces. The decaf cappuccino was on point. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Wow, this is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a really long time. The receipt says *see you soon* on the bottom and I went so far as to write NEVERAGAIN in caps. We were going to eat at Draught, but saw that Angelo’s had outdoor seating so we decided to give it a try. We sat down and ordered a ½ bottle of wine and waters. The wine was delivered and we ordered 3 salads. This took about 10 mins total at this point, and another 3 people sit down across from us. Another 15 minutes(no waters yet) and they bring 1 of the three salads. We inquire about the other two and our server disappears. Another 15 mins and the 3 other people get their meals, what the? I flag down our server and say what the heck, who delivers 1⁄3 of the meals and makes you wait 20 mins? Another 10 mins and they finally deliver the waters, then the remaining salads. Then I’m eating my salad and a end up biting on a piece of plastic. I notify server, who says he’ll mention to the manager. Finish eating, get the check — full price, manager never said a word. Wait and wait and wait to try and get them to take the check — finally just bring it in and give it to the people at the bar. Stay clear my Unilocal peeps, this place down right sucks. 0 stars, never again.

I live in the neighborhood and Ive been there sometimes for lunch or dinner. The food is descent. The servers all looked unhappy being there. The lady that looks like the manager is rude. I wouldn’t recommend it. There is a few better choices around the area.

I love pizza. I’m also lazy. I live nearby, and this was my go-to for years. But lately, their prices have been creeping upwards. I’m sympathetic, but I’ve also learned that even I have a tipping point when it comes to pizza prices.

Came here for lunch with some co-workers while attending a nearby conference. To be honest«ehh» is the best description. The service was SLOW to say the least. We ordered 4 sandwiches, 1 salad and a pizza and we still didn’t get our food for almost 40 minutes on a Monday at 12. The food was okay at best. I had a chicken parm hero that is $ 12.50 and I wouldn’t pay that for it again. It was smaller than the nearby Pizza shops $ 7.00 sandwich. It was a clean place. We sat outside and there was no signs of anything dirty at all. However, if I am going to pay $ 12.50 for a sandwich I’d walk to Jersey Mike’s 1.5 blocks away and there you have about 50 options and a soda machine with free refills.

Amazing pizza and wonderful service. Went here for the first time with my mom and 2 aunts for a relaxing after-work dinner and it had the perfect atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. It wasn’t crowded and had plenty of seating with large windows which brought in lots of sunshine. We got calamari as an appetizer and a large white pizza. They gave us warm bread and oil, although I wish they had more seasoning for the oil. Food came out in good time and it was so delicious. This is a nice place for families or even just for a cool hang out with friends.

Horrible service! Waited 1 hour to be served for lunch and over half hour for someone to take our order. Flies in the restaurant. I ordered Chechen parmigiana with no sauce on my pasta. Chicken had no flavor and pasta was cold. Then waitress wanted to add sauce to my pasta to warm it up! Heck! I didn’t want sauce on my pasta! Had to ask for bread several times. Will not becoming here again.

I work right by here, so we order it often, but I am never crazy about the food. The pizza is extremely greasy, almost to the point where it makes you sick. Basically, there are other places with more authentic food in the area. Skip it and go somewhere else.

I live in the area and I have eaten here and ordered in a few times. The SERVICE is TERRIBLE. Each time I go there I get more and more turned off by the RUDE staff. Very unfriendly atmosphere, almost like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Salads are good and pizza is average. If you want pizza there are many other places to go to. Avoid eating here !!!

We order out from Angelo’s frequently. Their pizza is solid and the salads are great. I love the Insalade Siciliana with capers, anchovies, olives, peppers et al. I also get the Rigatoni Campagnola with sausage and peppers– solid offering. Dining there is just ok. The place needs a freshening up, but the seats by the windows are good. I have come with my family of six or seven, and everyone loves the family style offerings. They have a knack of finding the perfect garlic spices. Better to order out as the food comes quickly and it’s hot.

I’m a big fan. I lived one block from Angelo’s for one year and ate there about six times. It was consistently good. It’s also a great place for a large group. The servers were always nice and patient when I asked questions. Their menu is typical but solidly good.

Absolutely disgusting! Overpriced, cold and uncooked pizza, thrown in a box. Extra sausage dumped all on once slice instead of on half the pizza. Just awful! Do not order from here. Worst in the city by far!

The atmosphere is very family friendly and chill with generally more of an elderly crowd. We got a half and half with red sauce on half and white sauce on the other. I didn’t really like the white sauce because it had feta cheese which I was not a huge fan of. Red sauce with mushrooms was great though!
