Lenscrafters

Prescription lowered, returned the glasses reverted to original prescription but appear not to have measured correctly for the new frame. I asked if they could please measure, but was told No as it was already correct. Although I said I can’t see. Now can’t use the glasses and they have used my insurance. So can’t go anywhere else for a year. Never had an issue with LensCrafters in the past but will now be avoiding.

This place has deteriorated over the years and those who answer phone calls are rude and incompetent. I called last week to reorder contact lenses and they had me on the phone for 20 minutes, only to end up with no refill because the lady on the other end couldn’t figure out how to do it. Thus, I decided to order my contacts through 1800contacts instead, but unfortunately it required me to call LensCrafters back for a copy of the prescription. Foolishly, I called them and the lady said she was too busy at the moment and couldn’t even take my phone number down to call me back. Agree with previous poster about cost here too! rip off

Make sure you keep your hand on your wallet when you walk into this place, starting with the eye exam was for 79.99 but the sales girl said it was 129.99, what she did not say was that the 129.99 is the upgraded eye exam and not the basic. Then after an eye exam with a very nice doctor, the real bang on the head happens, I sit with the same lady and she works on her computer and finally tells me my new progressive glasses are almost 1,000 dollars all in with the exam the frames and the lenses. when I look at her like she has three heads she tells me the lenses are $ 600 because they are the top of the line ones. Did you ask me if I wanted that? did I give you an inclination that I was interested in that? no to both. after I balked at it the price dropped to $ 350 for the lenses so my total would have been $ 679. at this point I was so turned off that I paid for my exam and went elsewhere for my glasses.
