Great selection of treats. Shakes are good. Try the peanut butter jammer and the chocolate dipped strawberries.

Wasn’t bad but my piña colada flurry wasn’t impressive. It just was. The place has a «worlds end» charm to it but when place isn’t much to see, you’d expect amazing Ice Cream. Chocolate covered bacon was also so-so. Good prices, I did eat all my ice cream and the pineapple was good.

Had ice cream twice here. It was just as expected and the place was open late so a good option after mini-golf.

My soft serve was extremely drippy and there were a bunch of flies which made the experience all the stickier and grosser

A Summer throwback… the staff were on point when 24 four of us showed up to order icecream of every variety and style… shakes to cones, to sundaes to mixed toppings. The staff stayed cool and in a flash 14 teens and pre-teens and ten adults were satisfied with their delicious treats.

Very slow service but when you have kids running the place shouldn’t expect anything different. Other then that it’s ice cream. Nothing special just plain ice cream you can buy at the food lion and dip yourself.

9 of us walked up to get ice cream. The parking lot was full and many people waiting when we arrived. However there was only a short line to order and the wait was for placed orders. We didn’t wait very long for our order to be filled. Prices seem reasonable for the amount served. The serve Blue Bunny ice cream which was delicious and hit the spot after a hot day. Parking could be a problem depending on what time of day you stop in.

On our way out of OBX, we pulled our 40 ft. RV in the parking space across the street so that we could get some ice cream here at Fatboyz. My sister and her friends had gone earlier and said it was great, so I had to «test it out.» It is a cute little beachy icecream and burger joint that looks like the perfect little beach hangout. The ice cream here was nothing out of the ordinary or spectacular, as they used Blue Bunny ice cream-it was tasty and satisfying nonetheless. However, I did get super excited when my order arrived. I got a small dish of 2 flavors: chocolate brownie and birthday cake, with cookie dough topping. What I was expecting as the cookie dough topping was those little cookie dough bites that you usually see at froyo places, but my ice cream came out with 4 gobs of cookie dough, the exact kind of raw cookie dough that your mom tells you not to eat! I don’t know why, but I thought that was AWESOME enough to recommend this place. Go and get your ice cream with REAL cookie dough!

Stopped here while in Nags Head for a quick lunch. Figured I would support a local spot over a chain. While I was there, they were not very busy at all. I walked up to the window and ordered, and the cashier was friendly. I took a seat at a table outside to wait for my food. The cashier came outside and picked up his cigarette to finish and then went out to his car and proceeded to change his pants in the parking lot. At this point, I was beginning to question my choice of restaurant. It took maybe 10 minutes to get my food, which seemed like a long wait at the time but I guess isn’t that bad. During that time, I noticed their posted health department score of 97.5, which made me feel a little better. Once I got my food I was very impressed. The fries were hot and crispy. My burger was delicious– not too greasy and had good flavor. Did not try any dessert, but the ice cream menu looked pretty extensive.

It seems that Fatboyz is a popular Nagshead spot for ice cream. We came here at around 9:45pm and it was still pretty packed. We had 8 people so everyone tried some different options. I got the strawberry Sundae with rainbow sprinkles, while most of my party got a kids cone(mint chocolate chip, chocolate with sprinkles, cookie dough). The kids cones seemed to be bigger scoops than the kids cup portion but it may have been perception. One person got the chocolate dipped cone and enjoyed it. Overall it was decent yet sadly not memorable or really good. The price was average or slightly above average for the quantity and quality(standard for beach areas). Also the tables weren’t the cleanest and the seating was limited especially for a party of our size. The service was good and since it’s open till 10pm, why not give it a try while you’re in the area?
