Over the several days here we have tried a few ice cream and yogurt places with fairly good success. After visiting Bodie Lighthouse we wanted some ice cream and decided to stop at DQ for a familiar experience. The people were friendly enough but 1) they didn’t have chocolate soft serve and 2) the prices were incredibly high. So many other local places on the Banks with more interesting options and better prices. I suggest supporting the local businesses and skipping this DQ.

They have like 3 food items. Not even French fries or a burger. Extremely overpriced.

The workers are nice and try hard BUT there is a definite language barrier. We had 12 people go in and 11 had issues. They don’t know how to do anything not on the very limited menu. Won’t be coming back here especially when there’s another one not far down the road.

There should be a negative stars category for this one… My husband went inside to grab me a cheeseburger and the female worker he says«couldn’t understand English» and basically started taking his order for a cheeseburger until the manager came over and said«we don’t have any burgers at this location…» UHWHAT?! What in the world?! DQ bad idea to not offer normal menu items at all of your locations. All we were wanting was a dang cheeseburger not a filet mignon!

This is the worst DQ ever! The menu is extremely limited and overpriced. I was overcharged for my meal but the cashier didn’t speak english well enough to settle the debate. Everything here is microwaved. There is no rest room. We were given the wrong food. Can’t wait for this place to go our of business.

It’s a standard DQ. There’s not too much seating so it wouldn’t be too great for groups. Everyone with me enjoyed what they got. They serve some food here too.

Very long wait here during the week before the busy summer season. They were experiencing some computer issues so were only taking cash which was not posted at the entrance or anywhere else. They also turn off their grill at 5 pm(didn’t effect my party who was there for blizzards but others in line were disappointed). The arcade that is attached and mini golf make this a great place to take kids if you don’t mind things being a little worn out.

Prices for their Blizzards were through the roof. I guess supply and demand at work. BTW, Blizzards were great despite the cost. One small and one medium came to $ 13.

It’s your standard DQ experience but with an extensive arcade attached. Game prices are steep($ 1), the titles are dated and many of the games are worn out. Outdoor seating is a plus.
