Brilliant idea for visitors who don’t want to go to restaurants every night, but don’t want to cook, either. We got meat lasagna and veggie baked ziti from the freezer and cooked them at the rental house – both are so good we plan to do the same again later this week.

Amazing sandwiches. Order ahead and pick it up as the place doesn’t have much seating. Totally worth the wait it takes for your sandwich to be made. We will definitely be back.

Quick, easy, and delicious. Stopped in to grab dinner for 6 adults. Grabbed a whole lasagna, 8 meatballs, extra meat gravy, broccoli rabe, and a small dry pasta for $ 70. Great value.
Everything was high quality and obviously made in store. I would have spent more than that buying the individual ingredients, spent way more time preparing, and it probably wouldn’t have tasted as good.
As if all of that wasn’t good enough, friendly service to top it all off.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, and I can vouch that this place is legit. They even get their rolls baked fresh! My man behind the counter was great with my kids, which I appreciated. All that plus they have long hots and broccoli rabe! My wife was impressed with how clean it was. Definitely check it out if you want some good, authentic Philly/​Jersey sandwiches. The take out dinners looked great, too.

So, this place is going to be a problem for me. Their OBX Steak and Homemade Meatball Sub is so good, I don’t know how I’ll resist eating at It’s All Gravy at least once a week. You can do takeout or sit in their cozy dining area. Sandwiches are seriously some of the BEST I’ve ever had… can’t wait to go back for more deliciousness soon!

Seriously one of the best Cheesesteaks I’ve had in years. I started to become depressed as I neared the end of my sandwich, knowing that the deliciousness would soon end. Would have snapped a picture, but ate it too quick. I will definitely continue to come here for my cheesesteak cravings and can’t wait to try more of their sandwiches.

Located where the old Waveriders coffee shop used to be is this Italian-​oriented market.
I gave the Italian Hoagie a try. It’s decent: quality bread and ingredients. Though not as life changing as sandwiches I’ve nommed elsewhere, it is probably the best sandwich on the outer banks. I will definitely be back to try more food before I leave.
Bonus for the shop being immaculately clean, and the pleasant staff. They also have a small selection of boars head meats and other deli items. Recommended.

Just get there already. Fugetaboutit. Gravy AND Long Hots! This establishment is an Outer Banks find when you need a break from seafood.
Seriously, great REAL Italian cookin’ that would make a Sicilian Grandmother happy. We’ve had almost every sandwich on the menu and haven’t hit a sour note yet. Self Catering options available if you need to feed a crowd.

Nags Head, NC
Having a business a few blocks down I decided to check out these guys. Heard that they may be from Jersey. The combo of Jersey, Italian, and food is the perfect trifecta for at least a great sub or sandwich. My son got the anti-​pasta salad which was amazing. I couldn’t help not trying the Philly Steak sub with grilled onions and provolone. Botta bing botta boom (I think that’s Jersey, I’m from the south) it was perfect.
Told them I wasn’t going to tell anyone, so I could keep them from getting busy, and have them all to myself. Ahhh forget it. I gotta help my neighbor.
They make lots of authentic Italian food, and freeze to take home with directions on cooking it. They said to place an order ahead of time and it’ll be ready to eat. One suggestion. Put a couple of tables and chairs on your porch for outside eating.
