From the very beginning, the host Chris was a total jerk. We showed up a little early, but waited for 30 minutes pst our reservation time. Each time we’d ask how the table was coming along he would make up some time and deliver a snide remark. After being seated the waitstaff did their best to make up for his rude behavior.
Unfortunately it took TWO HOURS to get our meals (which were so over cooked we couldn’t cut the meat) when we asked for the manager, Chris came by and unapologetically called us rude names so much so I decided to record his comments. He grabbed my phone and threw it across the room. Many people gasped at just how insane and rude their host was acting.
At that point we demanded to talk to the manager. Instead of comping our meals he asked us to stay and enjoy. NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. I WOULD STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.

WOW! As a down to earth snobby foodie, it was amazing. My husband and two other couples had dinner with one bottle of amazing wine and some Moscow Mule and we’re more than surprised at how perfect it all was. The vegetables were to die for and the meats were cooked perfectly. The wait staff were personable and obliging to make changes to the meal if needed. And there sure we’re a lot of good looking people there.

Sadly, not sure how I missed this place, over 16yrs coming to Mammoth. Shame on me!
Racheal is such a wonderful waitress & bartender. Amazingly one & only at the bar & surrounding area, yet stayed on top of it all. She makes a killer Whiskey sourer, all fresh with Marker Whiskey.
Well the food was yummy. I did only have to appetizer but both were great & flavorful.
It seems to be a popular place for the locals, book in advance if you want to restaurant.

Awesome local establishment!
After a day of sightseeing and taking in the Mammoth beauty, we decided to stop somewhere to have a cocktail prior to going back to the cabin for dinner, so by chance we stopped here. We arrived just prior to them opening and the bartender (Janice) invited us in anyway and pleasurably serve our cocktails or two.
First of all, Janice was the epitome of customer service — friendly, pleasant and engaging with conversation! Been up here many times before and never experienced such a warm and inviting atmosphere from the staff to the locals who obviously frequent this place for good reason. OH, the cocktails were good as well and generous!
Next time we are here we’ll definitely stop in for more of above and dinner as well. I happen to be sitting next to one of locals who had said the food is excellent and the portions make you leave feeling very satisfied.
