I’ve been coming to Yumi for 10 years. The owner, Maryam is a delight. She has a smile for everyone. Yogurt flavors change every day and are delicious. I enjoy also the coffee made from the espresso machine

The rudest service person? I order a cappuccino which comes to me without milk, ask her about it and she says their cappuccinos do not have milk!, Do you want milk, yes please. She warms the milk for a second and fills the cup. I say, courteously, that a cappuccino has frothy milk, and she answers the golden phrase. «Well you can go to Starbucks». Incredible. Oh and the cold coffee with milk was terrible.

A great location within the downtown area, next to many shops and restaurants all walking distance. I loved the vibe in this neighborhood. The shop is next to a Safeway, a few patio seating outside. There is no bathroom. Moving onto the froyo, got the pineapple mango, which was a flavor of the day. I loved how creamy and thick it was. And the large size on a cone is enough for a small meal! They sure were generous with the portion and sampling, and they also have Hawaiian ice cream too. I’d love to come back here when I’m in Los Gatos again.

We’ve been coming to Yumi Yogurt for over 6 years and I have to say the service just keeps getting worse. The staff is friendly enough, but to have 1 person working a Friday night is ridiculous. Plus they have a smoothie problem: for just 50 cents more than their enormous«medium» yogurt, the single server will ignore all other customers and spend 10 minutes blending up 1 smoothie for 1 customer. Tonight I saw three other potential customers leave in that time — I was stuck waiting for a to-go lid. What a waste. Bottom line: decent yogurt, friendly staff, really really poorly managed.

The most of the yogurt is good but one of the girls who works there is rude and clearly not very bright. And apparently you can only taste 2 – 3 of the flavors so if you don’t like the ones you tried good luck. And the moron working there is not going to tell you this ahead of time. I’ve been coming here for years but will seriously drive across town to avoid this location.

Asked for empty cap, so kids could share and was told that they have to charge the full price for it. Really, 6 $ for an empty cap?!

The Los Gatos Yumi Yogurt is a tiny bit deceiving. It’s called Yumi Yogurt, but there’s actually more Yumi«ice cream.»(Lappert’s to be exact) Have no fear though — they still have the same amazing yogurt flavors and wow cow/carbo lite options, great service, and convenient location(if I only lived in Los Gatos). I’m obsessed with Yumi Yogurt. Texture — The creamiest yogurt(not like that stuff that melts in .5 seconds, this yogurt is in it for the long haul… all the way back home from Los Gatos) Flavors — mouth watering. Peanut butter, moon pie, and way more. Sizes/pricing — I know, it seems a bit pricey, but the portions keep swirling and swirling far above the cup line. Remember: cash only if you want to satisfy your craving Did I mention, I’m obsessed? Check the daily app for all the flavors. You might start drooling on your phone so prepare yourself.

Pro’s 1.The yogurt is tasty and they offer jelly belly’s as a topping. Con’s 1. They are expensive. You have to pay per topping. 2. They don’t accept credit cards. Guess they’d rather lose out on customers then pay a small credit card fee. Isn’t some money better than none? 3. The staff doesn’t seem to have any knowledge about allergens. I’ve been there with a friend’s child who is allergic to tree nuts and recently with my child who cannot eat gluten. Both times the staff had didn’t know if there were nuts or gluten in their yogurt so we had to leave. We will not be back. The other yogurt shop in town labels all their flavors with details about the allergens and is less expensive.

Cash only. Minimum parking. Seating inside and out. Fun frozen yogurt flavors that change constantly. Huge huge portions, I recommend the child size or a small, because I’ve never be able to finish a medium. They also offer ice cream as well but I’ve never tried it. Good selection of toppings. Sometimes the frozen yogurt flavors are way too sweet for me but it’s nice because they allow you to test out the flavors first in these small little paper cups, so is never a tiny sample you always get enough to know exactly what the flavor is.

Too expensive for frozen yogurt and they only take cash. Very little parking. ATM charge $ 1.85. Nice outdoor seating if you don’t mind the noise of the traffic outside.

Yes, it’s overpriced. Get 2 petite sized yogurts and it’s basically $ 10, but that is to be expected in Silicon Valley and Los Gatos especially. My biggest gripe is that they don’t accept credit/debit cards. Cash only. Yeah… wonder how much of that revenue is hitting the books. I don’t like supporting businesses that skirt taxes and/or paying the ATM fees to the credit card companies. They have an ATM machine inside the store that has a surcharge separate from your bank charges that the owner thinks is a great alternative to accepting debit cards. I say we’re going somewhere else, kids. My other gripe is their yumi yogurt«rewards» card. You must buy 12 yogurts to get 1 free. Whoop-de-doo.

I’ve only been here twice, but each time was great! The girls that work there are so friendly and are very patient. Also if anyone is a huge red velvet fan, try their red velvet yogurt. Haven’t found one as great as theirs.

It’s with great sadness that I must proclaim that I think the end is near for Yumi LG. As a super fan for 10+ years I was very disappointed that they have raised prices(again), shrunk the containers(ALOT) and refused to accept my filled cards that I’ve kept for awhile mostly due to the fact I haven’t wanted to redeem for a Large. I’ve invested at least $ 200 and expected my free yogurt. I really like the carbolite and wow cow selections but the self serve places at $.35 an ounce give you a much better value since Yumi is skimping on their portions now.

Longtime customer also really disappointed by the new, tiny sizes. As others have pointed out this comes not long after they increased the prices too. I can imagine why the normally cheerful staff are looking grumpy — they’re having to carry the can for management cheapening up on the experience. I guess we won’t be going back.

$ 4.10 seemed steep for a child size frozen yogurt at first, then that thought flew out the window once I saw the serving. Very generous portion size and I like that you can choose two flavors for one portion too. I’m impressed by the soft serve yogurt serving skills of the girls there, two perfectly symmetrical towers of frozen yumminess in my little bowl! I inquires about that wow cow and carbolite, learning that Wowcow — dairy free Carbolite — sugar free After trying the samples, I went with the kahlua cheesecake and the apricot mango. A perfect combo of rich and refreshing. Only challenge is eating it fast enough before the tower melts!
