I’ve been going to Brianna Gomes for a while and she always knows what my hair needs better than I do! Excellent attention to detail and is prompt with appointments. I always look so fab after a visit to Brianna!

Everybody at Nuvoux does a great job and is friendly! Susan has been doing my highlights and haircuts for a few years. She listens and knows her stuff and believe me, I’m picky! She’s also, a very sweet, kind lady!

Have been getting tinsel off and on here for years and I love Roberta. I think it’s great that they always have time for me even though I’m not their most regular client and they always do a great job.

Two words: BRIANNA GOMES. When it comes to hair, this girl takes the cake! If I could give her 10 stars I would. She knows hair, she is honest, and best of all, there is none of that «awkward» conversation with your hair stylist because she quickly makes you feel like part of her world, like you’ve been BFF’s forever! She has been cutting and styling my hair for at least 2 – 3 years; and I would never dream of letting anyone else touch my hair. I have recommended at least 4 of my closest friends to her and none of them have ever let another stylist touch their hair. She knows cuts, styles, color… she is a natural master of her craft. If you are looking for perfect, flawless, and all around amazing hair, look no further… and remember these two words: BRIANNA GOMES!

Brianna Gomes was recommended to my by a friend. She is a phenomenal hair dresser with a personality to match. I am so happy I started having my hair done at Nuvoux by Brianna, she does my hair just the way I like it. The owners are also warm, and friendly and make everyone feel welcome.

Brent is an artist. He has been cutting my hair for nine years and every time I walk out of his salon, I feel fantastic. I have super short hair and he works magic on it. Very stylish, very easy for me to style — simply fabulous. He takes his time and makes sure that it is absolutely perfect.

Thank you Brent! My hair looks and feels amazing. I’m very picky about who I let cut/​color my hair and they did such a wonderful job here. I felt comfortable (important), they offered me a glass of wine (which was tasty) and they treated me like family (the good kind). Brent was such an artist when he was cutting my hair, he would stop until it was perfect.

Brent is a hair genius! He knows his coloring and cuts! I love the fun environment and the location is perfect right next to the downtown LG Safeway!

She did EXACTLY as i asked, gave input where she thought best… walked me through each step and was so hospitable!
I not only ended up with GREAT results but she was very pleasant to work with as well.

I have been going to Nuvoux for years. My friends and family also have their hair done there. Brent Hatfield, owner is incredibly knowledgeable on style and color. He has a way with knowing what style will match the shape of your face and what color to mix for your skin. I would never go anywhere else. Thanks Brent!

Both Susan Maier and Robert Nespole did my wedding hair– and they did a stunning job.
Susan knew exactly what I wanted– I couldn’t believe it during my trial when she quickly made my dream hairstyle a reality. Then, she met me at my hotel the day of my wedding and recreated my style perfectly. Everyone loved my hair. Thank you, Susan!
Then, because of some photography mishaps at my wedding, we had to re-​take our wedding photos. Susan wasn’t available, but arranged for me to have my hair done by Roberta (somewhat last minute). Roberta also did a phenomenal job. I am so thankful for both of them– my wedding and photo retakes were beautiful!

I have been to quite a few salons in Los Gatos and Nuvoux definitely takes the cake. This salon has an amazing atmosphere, everyone is so easy going, and the results I have gotten with my hair are unbelievable. I have thick wavy hair and its not easy to contain. Jennifer Hatfield does my hair and never fails to give me exactly what I want. I have received a few keratin treatments, which have basically changed my life. I highly recommend them for those of you who have thick crazy hair. Jennifer has also given me a natural ombré that blends with my hair very well. I could go on forever, but I’ll just say I highly recommend Nuvoux, because from what I’ve seen the stylists that work there are extremely talented and educated in what they do. Check them out, you wont regret it!

I had gotten a haircut recently that left me with an awkward length and choppy layers, and I had since decided that I was going to cut a long bob. I was nervous, but I went to see Jennifer Irby based on a recommendation and she was phenomenal. Not only was she so sweet and so much fun to chat with, she was patient with my hair (I have a LOT) and constantly reassured me that I could tell her if I didn’t like something or wanted something changed. Of course, I didn’t want to change a single thing when she was done. It looked and felt great, and I couldn’t appreciate her talent and friendliness more! Thanks so much, Jen!

I have been going to Brent for the past 5+ years, so is my entire family, and he is great! excellent service and I always leave feeling like a supermodel. He cuts, highlights and does a toner for me. He always makes time for you even if his day is busy, he makes it happen.
I recommend him highly and anyone on his team. Jennifer Irby just this past weekend made me ready for a family wedding and I got so many wonderful compliments on it.

I needed to get my hair re-​ombréd because my birthday is in two weeks! I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to book an appointment anywhere. Brent was very accommodating and made my appointment the very next day!
The day of my appointment I had Brent do my hair and Kristine was assisting. They were professional, polite and fun!
The best part was how reasonable the price was! I HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a well done ombrè

This 1 star review is based not on quality of work but solely on customer service.
Background story:
My 15 year old Niece went to this salon by referral from a long time customer of this salon. She asked for her hair colored in an ombré style (picture in hand). Unfortunately, although she loved it when she left, when the curls came out the next day she was unhappy with the result. I called in to ask for the color to be corrected since it clearly looked nothing like the picture presented by my Niece once the curls came out. I received a return call from Brent (the owner/​stylist that colored my Niece’s hair). Let’s just say he was BEYOND rude but agreed to correct the issue, keep in mind this is a 15 year old girl that is starting school on Monday. Other than him being rude, we are good to this point…
Here’s where the 1 star comes in:
Once Brent set the appointment with me for the following day. HE CALLED THE PERSON THAT REFEREED MY NIECE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MY CALL TO ASK FOR HIM TO CORRECT THE ISSUE!!! The referrer then called my Niece which resulted in drama filled mess. Now let’s skip ahead to the day of the appointment. When we walked in to the salon in true fashion Brent was RUDE, with a client in his chair he was carrying on about my Niece being unhappy and how he thinks it looks fine (not to us to his client and coworkers). We didn’t receive a greeting only dirty looks. How about a stinkin’ apology for being completely UNPROFESSIONAL??? Nah. Not going to get that from this guy. Brent’s wife/​assistant corrected my niece’s hair but was nice an snobby with me not my niece. thankfully!
Final recommendation:
People seem to be happy with the quality of work provided by this salon (my niece was after Brent’s wife fixed the issue) but who needs the awful service when you are paying for a service provided by so many other without an attitude? This place may work for the Real Housewives of Los Gatos but if you value service and good experience. SKIP THIS PLACE!

Had an excellent time with Brent (Owner), not only did he cut and do a very complex set of high and low-​lights in my hair, he also was quite entertaining. If you have a challenging color combo you are trying to achieve then See Brent!

Susan Maier cut and highlighted my hair leading up to my wedding and then styled it the day of my wedding (along with my mom’s hair and the hair of my three bridesmaids). For my wedding, she was prompt and efficient and worked with everyone so well — both in terms of her personality and her skill. The five of us all have very different hair lengths and I wanted everyone to have their hair done the way they wanted. She was flexible and had great suggestions and made each of us look incredible.
Susan is absolutely WONDERFUL! She is a talented, experienced hairdresser and she has the type of personality that makes you feel like you’ve known each other forever. I’ve been back since my wedding for cuts and styles and touchups to my highlights. Susan has a great eye and has helped me find cuts, colors and styles that I love, and given great advice for keeping my hair looking good between visits. I’ve never liked a hairdresser as much as I like Susan and I can’t recommend her enough.
