My wife bought a large piece of fabric for a project and after getting home realized it was cut too large and it needed to be cut in half. To get a perfect cut she returned to the store to either exchange it or have them cut it. Well neither happened, as they would not exchange it and said that they«can’t» cut it once it’s been sold. I asked the young lady if she can’t or won’t. She said«can’t» with attitude. So we left and will do it ourselves, but attitude coupled with zero customer service is a one star in my book. Not a fan of this store at all.

I am a small business owner, who frequents JoAnns. I have been extremely loyal over the past 7 years, only shopping at other retailers in emergency situations. Today walked into my local JoAnns and went ask a question to customer service and not only was the manager extremely rude, she was not helpful at all and I walked out three minute after walking in! I guess I will be going to Michaels, AC Moore, or Hobby Lobby now!

Love the people here. Always helpful and willing to listen when you are not completely sure how to accomplish the project you set out to do. The Viking dealer is also just as awesome as the joann employees. Willing to help all round. I frequently run in to grab a thing or two but feel I’ve made good relationship with many there. Idk about other joann stores but this one makes me feel comfortable every time I go. They won’t make you feel stupid. Go. See for yourself. They are pretty awesome.

Horrible. Be prepared for at least 10 minute wait for checkout — even midday. Buy something and toss the receipt? They return you the last on sale price, even a couple days later when they CAN use your credit card to find recent transaction. Awful. Won’t go back.

The employees are not helpful. II you call them to ask if they carry something, they usually don’t answer the phone. On the few occasions when they did happen to answer, they told me they were too busy to talk and to call back. Needless to say, I’ve learned not to bother to try to call ahead. Also, the employees don’t seem to know their merchandise. For example, I went in tonight to ask for something to put on the bottom of my mother’s slippers so she won’t slide. The clerk just gave me a blank look. Also, I once asked for plastic rings(I think they were ¾ inch, but I may be wrong about the size). I asked two different employees in two different areas of the store if they carried them. Neither had any idea what I was talking about, much less where they might be. However, I happened to be walking around the store and found the plastic rings myself. This is really a shame because the store is so NICE and carries so many great items.

Poor customer service. it is a tragedy that it is the only fabric store in town. The staff are nice people but there is not enough of them. They do their best to help customers but they are stretched too thin to provide adequate service. My next trip to the fabric store will be to Manassas or Frederick.

This store is clean, organized and constantly changing merchandise. You can find lots of great deals, even the clearance section has some great deals. The frame shop is reasonably priced when you use their coupon. You can sign up by mail. Fabric selection is great and you can order additional bolts of it should you need it. I could spend the day«playing» in there.

If I can one word it would be WOW. I wanted to get some fabric to make a couple dog beds on a budget and I walked in was amazed at how large and well equipped the store was. The also offer classes I was looking into the cake decorating classes.

Oh my. A Joann’s superstore in little old Leesburg? I’m in so much trouble. It’s been open for 4 days. I’ve been 3 times. Yes it’s a new store, but it’s a beautiful one. It’s clean, well organized, and the staff is helpful and friendly. They have a very nice framing department, their craft and knick knack sections are to die for, and the fabric? Oh my. They have a very nice and spacious area for classes, and their Husqvarna shop has already sucked me in and had me buying a new machine. A beautiful store, and one I am sure I will be in far too much.
