Good pizza, good spinach roll, friendly service and reasonable prices. I’d go back — and I have. Great location too.

Reading some of the reviews on this place .kind of funny. it’s a pizza place… is it a 5 star restaurant? No… But if you’re looking for a good slice and some comfort food, this is the place for you. mozzarella sticks & zucchini sticks were good… came in with a large group .we were treated very nicely.

Rip off! Four slices and one Snapple came to $ 15. When I questioned the bill, I was told $ 3 per slice, $ 3 for Snapple. WHAT? I asked the price of a pie and was told $ 14, Should have recommended me purchasing a pie for $ 2 more. When I asked about this, all I received was an indifferent shoulder shrug. $ 3 a slice for pizza that was NOT that good. No prices were displayed in store. A different price for local residents and those who are visiting the area? I WILLNOT be back.

Terrible service(no dressing on salad? No cups with lids for children? No AC?) and mediocre, borderline iffy food. And why have a choice of pizza styles when the choice is never actually offered? I regret wasting a meal in Lake Placid on this place.

The service is very friendly and the pizza is great! I would steer clear of the steak and cheese because all I could taste was salt. But the pizza is worth the trip!

Service was good. The pizza was kinda bland. A good place to go for food if all the other places have lots long waiting times for seating. Basic pizza and wings. Just go with the plain pizza, the toppings are not that good.

Got a calzone, veggies inside were barely cooked, corners where rock hard, when we asked the non-English speaking waitress for water she pointed to the bottled water in the fridge. However other tables around is had glasses of water! Don’t go here worst food and service I have ever had, oh and they forgot to bring out our appetizer… Just plain forgot, after righting it down…

Been here done it, won’t be back. I have to say I couldn’t tell the difference between pan style pizza and thin crust. They looked identical! The taste is there as far as pizza goes, but the dough needs some help. And the veggies and meats where tossed on in massed piles and not spread out evenly at all. Then again I’m from Western NY where the pizza is king of the country and we don’t get credit like we should. I’ll try another pizza place in Lake Placid but none will come close to home.

As with many of the restaurants in Lake Placid they are hit or miss, well Bazzi’s was a true miss. The place was very dirty you can see that it has not been cleaned in LONGTIME. Inside it just felt dark and grimy, need a fresh coat of paint and a deep clean. The lady at the counter was nice but seemed tired and overwhelmed, I was given the wrong pizza and she did give us a full refund no problem. The cooks in the back looked kinda sketchy . The prices are quite high for the quality and quantity that you receive. The chicken was soggy and mushy.

Got just a slice of pizza when I was here last. Pepperoni. It was fresh and ready in no time. The sauce had a ton of fresh basil in it. Loved it! They did update their seating outside of the building. Instead of the old metal tables they now added three picnic tables for more seating.

Haha I love the varying reviews of this place because even though Ive only been here once– I can tell it is as hit or miss as they come. No gloves or tongs here– nope. Your pizza, garlic knots, etc. are picked up bare handed and put in an oven. Despite some Unilocal’ers, I thought the cheese slice was good. Not the best pizza I’ve had, but definitely a solid slice. The meatball parm hero however– meh, kinda sucked. If you’re drunk this place is probably heaven. If you’re not, it’s a three star review.

Disgusting. I ordered chicken Alfredo & they put chicken nugget pieces in my pasta instead of real chicken.

We stopped here after a night at the bar and this place really hit the spot. We ordered the garlic knots, and then followed up with a couple slices of pizza. Their marina used for dipping the garlic knots in could be an entrée itself. For what it is, the place is priced alright and the food was above my expectations.

Stop! Do not enter this establishment. Read on; We walked up to the counter(place was empty on a busy night and this should have beeen our first clue to leave) I needed something to drink right away, grabbed a water from the fridge and then waited there at the counter for someone to help us. MItch asked if we sit or just continue waiting… the girl said to sit and she’d bring us menus. After about 6 minutes, I got up and grabbed menus for us. While we broused the menu, Mitch watched a lady behind the counter eat a pizza. Ten minutes to fifteen minutes later she came to take our order. Mitch also asked if they had fountain drinks or just cans and she said fountain so he ordered one. There were 3 ladies working, a man who was maybe a cook? Another man that came out later and sat at a table. We think he may be the owner? While we waited for our pizza we watched them eat behind the counter lol even when a couple came into order, one of the girls continued eating at the counter… I couldn’t believe it. We got our pizza. It’s huge. Huge doesn’t mean good. The crust is hard, chewy. Not soft-doughy OR crunchy. It was cardboard-ish. VERY greasy. I couldn’t eat the crust. We ate it though because we were starving. A girl came out to clear a table and Mitch asked her if we could get a soda refill and… no soda refills! Really? How about ‘We don’t offer this, BUT since your experience has been so bad… I’ll honor it for you’. How about ‘Since I ignored you when you got here, forgot to bring you menus, then took 20 minutes to take your order because I was hangin out & eating… I’ll go ahead and honor it for you’…I wanted to leave so bad. Like walk out leave. I feel like they should have offered US money to stay. Ten minutes after we finished our pizza we realized they weren’t going to bring us a bill. Did they expect us to walk out? lol We would never do anything like this of coarse… So Mitch got in line after about ten kids walked in to order single slice pizza. HEGOTINLINETOPAY… did you hear me? In line to pay. I felt like I needed to stand at the door to let people know this is not the place for them… I wanted to direct people to something other than dissapointment… but that’s what I do on Unilocal right? Not on the street. I would be considered to be a crazy person… so here you go my friends who visit Lake Placid. Find somewhere else to eat. And if you know these people or the owners… help them?

Well aside from the fact that I asked for chicken on my pizza and got mc donalds chix nugget look-a-likes and not real grilled chix the pizza was good, not great. Bathrooms were sub-par. Place is expensive. Over-rated if you ask me

Fantastic NY Style Pizza! Being from the NY metro area we are used to the best pizza around and are often disappointed when grabbing a slice while traveling. Bazzi’s changes that for Lake Placid… We will be sure to stop here each time we are in town because their pizza is awesome. We also ordered the fried calamari and it was out of this world! The lady behind the counter was very nice. This is a typical pizza place where you order at the counter and take a seat, you should not expect table service.

A pretty solid slice really late at night. Had some pretty interesting slices ready to go too. Didn’t sit down or order anything other than a slice. Seemed relatively clean inside and I think they had beer if I remember correctly. Staff was nice considering the crowd and the time.

Good Pizza. Weird Service. Waitress/staff didn’t understand our first question in the door… nor the last step of taking our money out the door… «Should we wait to be seated or take any open table?» We asked because it wasn’t clear if it was a self-serve joint or if there was table service by wait staff. The woman at the counter just said take any table, and order up here(at the counter). Ok, we did that — we sat our kids at a table, and I went up and ordered our meal at the counter. Then later(literally about 10 minutes later) she came to our table, asking what we wanted to eat. Huh??? She went back. A couple of minutes later she came out with our pie, pasta and garlic knots. We asked for plates — she came back with paper plates. The two tables next to us got real plates, not paper(1 per person too! cheapo!). Why? What’s up with that? We ordered more food than them too. When we went to pay at the cashier, the same woman took my credit card — but had no clue how to use the machine. She put the order in three times because she had to start over– asked the guy to help swipe the card(it’s not that hard, lady! hold card, move card within slot with a sweeping motion in one direction…) and answer the prompts on the credit card machine. She wasn’t mean or rude or anything like that — it just was a totally bizarre experience. Food-wise, the pizza was classic thin crust pizza — much preferable to Eres Pizza down the block. Garlic knots were tasty too. And oh yeah, BTW.. . if you’re wondering about their bathrooms… kind of like their service… much to be desired. We’d go back for pizza or better yet for take out.. .
